My wife took me here for Father's Day, we've been wanting to try it for a while but just haven't had a chance. Surprisingly very kid friendly for a very nice restaurant! Our server was very nice and accommodating, water service flowed constantly and our drinks never needed to wait for a refill. I'm from the east coast so that left me with 2 choices, soft shell crab (which are very seasonal) or lobster, so I went with the soft shell crab and they were absolutely delicious! My wife had the sea bass with herb ricotta gnudi, fish was cooked to perfection and the gnudi was to die for (can I get a few more please). Stepson got a killer burger with nice and thick cut bacon. My little guy (20 months) went with the Mac and cheese which was huge for a little one. I almost forgot to mention the complementary fresh baked sourdough bread service, which was great and I feel like is becoming more and more rare these days. We can't wait to go back with some friends for a more adult dinner, highly recommend for a higher end seafood establishment with LOTS of variety.

The food and service could not have been better! We came for a birthday and they had prepared a card as well as given us a free cookie ice cream skillet to celebrate! The service from our waitress was stellar. The decor inside was super elegant/interesting with large windows for nice street views. The spanish octopus was amazingly chewy, highly recommend as a starter! The Cioppino felt like A LOT of food and they give you a bib to eat with. The both sea bass was super flaky. Highly recommend celebrating here for any birthday :)

Food 7/10 (I'd give a lower rating if price is factored in)Service 9/10Complimentary bread - not goodCalamari - best dish we got thereOyster sampler - some good, some just ok Lobster - nothing special, tiny portion for $25 Whole fish - had high expectations but was just ok Asparagus- goodOverall: would not recommend. This is ~$145 but we (2 people) left the restaurant still hungry. Honestly surprised that people pay this much to have mediocre food

Just the crab cake enticed me into trying this place, and it was pure crab... not breadcrumbs, or eggs, or filler, so a must try without the overwhelming seafood taste. That 20oz Ribeye was made exactly to order, melting, flavourful, and chunky- if you like steak, you know what I mean. The chimichurri however, was not a good choice to compliment thatThe Halibut, with the table-pour lemon velouté was the 3rd star. Ample servings for a hefty doggy-bagAmbiance was perfection, without the sound of the kitchen, bustling, or blaring music; a perfect romantic-date environment.Noticed the service was rarely mentioned, because it was almost nonexistent unless you raised a hand for more butter or a top up. The food is 5-star, so give it a try

this place is hands down five starts. Nothing to not like here. Cocktails are off the hook. Asked for five bourbon cherries with my Old Fashioned and I got six.The rolls are phenomenal. The fish tail dish is the only thing I would make a request for change - cut the tail a little higher up so there is more meat.Everything was fresh and service was attentive. I would consider this a must do when visiting Bellevue.

Absolutely outstanding! We ordered the octopus for appetizer, and spiny lobster and sea bass for entrees. Sides were good too. Service was great, nice and clean restaurant.

Came here with my company team and we all enjoyed the experience. Perhaps we enjoyed it more since it wasn't coming out of our pockets but aside from cost, the other aspects such as selection of food and beverages, service, and taste was overall positive. The restaurant offers both seafood and steak which was a big hit for our groups since half of us ordered from the seafood menu and the other half various different steaks.I had the oyster sampler, salmon and tuna sushi, and the king crab. The oysters tasted fresh and is something I would definitely order again as an appetizer for friends and family. The salmon sushi roll was better than the tuna sushi roll so I recommend skipping on the tuna. My friends also had the same sentiment. I ordered the hot king crab by the pound. 1 pound was enough for me given I had the other appetizers. If you don't order appetizers you might need more than 1 pound to fill you up. My king crab dish consisted of one leg and a joint area, my friend who also ordered 1 pound got 2 legs, so what you get might vary on how the crab is broken up. My crab leg tasted great but the joint piece was very salty. My friend said both his legs tasted very salty so I'm knocking off a star from this review. My friend got the lobster and it looked amazing, and it's cheaper than the king crab as well. I'll probably try that next.

My family and I had dinner at Water Grill for the first time, and it was an enjoyable experience. We went around 6:30 pm on a Sunday and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. We were seated in a comfortable booth by the window, perfect for our group of four.We started off by sharing two appetizers: the crispy calamari and the manila clams with chorizo. The calamari was a hit - the tempura batter was light and crispy, and the sweet chili sauce was yummy. The manila clams were also flavorful, with the chorizo adding depth to the broth. For our main courses, we tried the scallops, black cod with soba noodles, and Chilean sea bass. We also shared a side of asparagus. Everything tasted fresh, but we did find all the dishes to be a bit on the salty side. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. It's worth noting that the seafood entrees range from $36 to $56, so be prepared for a bit of a splurge.Overall, we had a great first time at Water Grill Bellevue. Next time, I'm curious to try one of their whole fish options on the menu.

Stopped by on a Saturday night around 8pm and sat at the bar for drinks and dinner.Cocktails: 5/5The margarita verde was refreshing and tasty. Appetizers: 5/5Oysters were awesome. We ordered a variety of Washington oysters and loved it. Fresh as expected. The Caesar salad hit the spot with crisp lettuce and perfectly distributed Caesar dressing. The anchovies were nice as well on the salad and they even offer to split the salad for two which is nice. The sourdough bread is also fresh and perfect to start.Mains: 4/5The lobster roll was good but the lobster was a little dry. The bread was nicely toasted and buttered. The side of fries were great. The Alaskan salmon was overcooked as well and tasted a bit dry. Sides: 3.5/5Brussel sprouts were very basic. Lacked seasoning.Service: 5/5We sat at bar and service was great.
