Zoe's Vegan Delight

DELICIOUS! I've been wanting to try this place since I moved to DC, and it did not disappoint! The vegan mac & cheese was creamy and soft, with just the right crispy cheese crust on top. The banana bread was bursting with flavor. So good. Next time, I'm definitely trying those drummies! The portion size overall was perfect for me & my roommate. The service was so kind, and enjoying it all on such a beautiful day made the experience even better :)

Came back here and was just as good if not better than last time. I love the richness of the Mac and cheese, and got a fully loaded cheese steak which was solid.

Really enjoyed this spot! I've been seeing them for a while but finally decide to drop by on a Sunday during the farmers market. What a great choice!! The owner was really pleasant and friendly and chatted us up while she prepared the food. I had the crab cake and greens and the food was so flavorful. The food was so good I forgot to take a picture until I was almost finished with it lol!!! Can't wait to go back and try other options

If your are wondering what to eat on Eastern Market, this place is one my favorite, I am not a vegan and the food doesn't taste vegan at all.Delicious food, shareable portions size and the lady on the stand is very nice.This is a Woman small business owner and African-American owner.She is at the Eastern Market on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tried a dish while at the Crofton Farmers market. My boy and I have been looking into vegan and vegetarian foods lately so I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the "crabcake" with kale and mac & cheese. The crabcake Was made of jackfruit, which is my first time ever trying. You can't go in expecting it to taste or even feel like real crabcake but it was very well seasoned and tasty. I loved it and I want more. Everything is absolutely delicious. And she really packed the container with food. well worth the price. I will definitely look for her again at the next farmers market.

Review from a non-vegan. I like to dabble in vegan dishes from time to time when I want to cleanse my soul. So from a meat-eaters perspective, I really enjoyed the steak and cheese pita sandwich that I ordered. First impression is that everything is well seasoned and very flavorful. As expected with any vegan dish that includes "meat", there's going to be some shortcomings with the textures/taste. Honestly, the steak on this sandwich was prepared wonderfully and definitely reminded me of real steak meat (especially with the way it was seasoned). I really loved the cheese sauce as well--not because it tasted exactly like traditional cheese but because of the creaminess that went well with the sandwich. I thoroughly enjoyed everything from the peppers, onions, and pita and will certainly go back to this spot in the future. A good place to try if you're considering the vegan lifestyle.

Oof, just thinking about the meal I had from Zoe's gives me starry eyes and hunger pangs. Absolutely delicious with great customer service! I caught up with Zoe's Vegan Delight when they were serving up their delicious eats at the 2019 DC VegFest at the Nats Stadium. The place was packed and the line was long, but I totally get it - the food was amazing. I went with the bacon mac and cheese, kale salad, and crab cakes and I regret nothing. The mac and cheese had phenomenal flavor with a nice savory kick from the faux bacon. The kale salad felt fresh with the right balance of dressing - not too overbearing so the kale still had a nice crunch. And those crab cakes - goodness gracious, do yourself a favor and grab an order as soon as you can. The texture are great and the crisp breadcrumbs of the exterior added to it. It came with a sauce that kicked it up a notch. I still think about those crab cakes with loving respect. And before I forget - they were also serving up homemade pineapple punch. Whoa, nelly! Perfect balance to the meal and super refreshing in the heat. I'm eager to pop out to Eastern Market and grab my next round of Zoe's. I highly recommend the food and the service was fast and friendly. What more can you ask for?!

A great choice on weekends at Eastern Market - whether you're vegan or not. Everything is full-flavor and the sides are delicious (mac & cheese, kale salad, potato salad, oh my!). The sandwiches/entrées change, but I enjoyed the Zoe's Fully Loaded Cheesesteak. It won't taste exactly like a traditional Philly cheesesteak, but you shouldn't expect it to. What you should do is order it. The kale salad had clearly been treated with proper love, with the light-but-lucious dressing massaged in, tenderizing the kale. If you see a sandwich and small side combo, I suggest getting that plus a full side. You'll be full, but it'll be worth it.And in case you were wondering - she makes all of the veggie meats and cheeses herself! So if you're the curious type, you can ask all you want about them. And then order everything.

The Vegan Thanksgiving meal was perfect! The seitan roast with gravy and traditional sides made this 2020 a breeze. Pick up and eat without all the prepping and cleaning. Highly recommend!
