My friends and I frequented their sister restaurant in Tyson's Da Domenico and since they closed we have been missing them. My friend found that this restaurant was the same owner and we trekked out here and it was well worth it!We had t

Great to have this steady, reliable classic still around. In an area of new restaurants opening and closing, this one stands tall. Fantastic Italian food, the best in the area by far. Outstanding service, and fairly priced. Decor reminds me of a time gone by, which is a huge positive.Had the Polla ala Romana, great dish here, but hard to go wrong.

Average, very uninspired food. Average, efficient service. Nice atmosphere. Terrible value! One and done kinda place.

We've been hearing great things about this place. It's very old school and packed in the weekend, make a reservation on advance. The service was great! The food was okay. The ambience was old school Italian. Wouldn't go back sadly the food was not worth it.

Went here for valentine's day. I really liked this place! It gave traditional/old italia vibes, dark inside with older looking furniture. The service was the best + the waiter even told me anything that was not on the menu they could also make. I had shown him a picture of another review and asked which one it was and made a specialty order for me (off the menu). This was the best decision because the Ossobucco with pasta was sooo worth the price. The portion size was almost ridiculous because of how much food it ended up being. Though, My BF got the lobster ravioli but ravioli is never much of portion. He did say the sauce was delightful! I would also say the apps can be skipped but that's just me. 10/10

I took my wife out for date night recently and we went to Zeffirelli. I read great reviews so decided to try it. Service was phenomenal. Not much waiting and there was a certain amount of attention that our host gave us that made our time memorable. We had the Caesar salad and Calamari & Zucchini to start. Loved them both. I enjoyed the size of the calamari. My wife had Ravioli and I had the Pollo alla Romana. Both dishes were great and filling. The restaurant gives off a real authentic vibe and is romantic. Perfect location for a date. I look forward to going back.

First time and it won't be our last! Zefferellis came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. We were warmly greeted upon entering and sat promptly. The restaurant was inviting and romantic, perfect for our dining experience. Our waitress immediately came over to greet us and presented us with our menus, brought us bread and water, and explained the specials. We ordered wine, and ordered our food; we had their calamari and zucchini frite, lightly battered and fried to perfection, the sauce was a slightly spiced marinara sauce that was extremely delicious. For our entrees my wife ordered the linguine with white clam sauce, her pasta was al dente and the sauce was great with a good amount of clams in and out of the shell. I ordered the Cleopatra special, linguine with a spicy pink sauce, with mussels, scallops, shrimp and lobster tail; when it came out I was amazed at the amount of seafood that was on the plate! The plate was lined with mussels, there were three large shrimp and three large scallops, and to top it off the lobster tail was a 6-8 oz tail tender and sweet. It was our anniversary celebration so the waitress brought out a plate with "Happy Anniversary" on it with a pannacotta dessert topped with a berry compote, it was delicious. I highly recommend Zefferellis !!!

Went here for Mother's Day and it did not disappoint. Has an old school Italian vibe, which I liked. To start out, they bring complimentary bread which was hot and fresh. They bring it with butter, but would have preferred olive oil. We also had the Caesar salad to start out which was fresh and tasteful. For my main entree, I had the chicken parm which was delicious. Chicken was cooked right and the side of linguine complimented it well. Also tried a little of the linguine with white wine sauce and jumbo shrimp which was very good.I only have a couple of complaints. Prices on the online menu were lower than the prices on the menu in person. It would not take you much time to update the online prices so people know exactly how much it's going to cost them. Also, service was relatively good for the most part, but when we sat down, they asked if we wanted still water or carbonated water. No mention that it was extra money for the carbonated money. Overall, this place is good for a special occasion, but can't see my self going too often, as it is expensive. I am not rich yet!

Best special occasion date night spot nearby. I got the lasagna because I wanted to try the veal and I was not disappointed. The server was so observant she cut me off on the bread because she said I'd spoil my appetite which was for the best (the bread is so good) and it comes with oil.

Once again Zeffirelli's comes thru with a 5-Star performance. Initially, I felt a little rushed by the server / waiter. He soon got the message, we're here for a relaxing time. In historic downtown Herndon this little spot is a bastion of northern Italian cuisine. I had the veal porcini and it was tender and delicious. The wife (of now 15yrs) had a stuffed pork chop that I tried and it was mouth watering delicious. The sausage appetizer was very tasty. Recommend the wine pictured, outstanding! The only slight setback was the closing expresso martini. Not my fav. Looks like they mix Baileys into it. Stick with expresso, vodka, and a half of Kaula ... otherwise always a fav spot for special events.
