Yummy Kabob

Best food In Annandale and Fairfax Co. 5-Star on food quality. I am a hungry skinny foodie who hates processed anything, Yummy Kabab and their chicken kabab platter is my favorite meal. High quality eats.

Good food, kind of awkward experience. I had been wanting to try this place because it's in such an unusual location and it's near the Cross County Trail (not a lot of businesses are). They really seemed like they didn't want me to eat there. They handed me the food to go when I wanted to eat it there. I asked if there was some kind of outside patio where I could eat, and they said no. Then I noticed the cool indoor/outdoor hookah space (which I'd seen online.) I was like, "can I eat there?" They were like ........"oh yeah, sure."I got out there and they turned the music off. Totally strange vibe. This was around 3 pm, so it was definitely a strange time anyway. The shawarma was decent. The pita was perfect, the chicken a little gamey, the garlic sauce was money.I was really surprised to see they're open until 4 am! It must really transform in the evening.

Chaotic parking, disorganized service, a cluttered outdoor setup, and a great time. Yummy Kabob cafe was one of the most fun and chaotic food experiences I have had in a while. A very chill dining and hookah experience, this place is great for medium and large group sizes. It is also open until 5 am and is great for a late night hangout spot. Now for a spot like this, the food is surprisingly very good. The kabob combo had very flavorful and well cooked chicken and beef kabobs. The chicken over rice was solid as well and the chai was very good especially late at night with a group. I highly recommend this place as a late night joint for fun vibes and good food!

I came and ordered grilled vegetables, the server was confused which dish this is. I kindly shared with her, eggplant, onion, tomatoes and peppers as it traditionally is served. The dish was brought back with onions tomatoes and eggplant. The eggplant was burnt... black. B L A C K and crunchy hard when I pressed the fork against the corpse burnt vegetable. I politely brought it to the cook and asked him if he prepared the dish. He was the only person in the kitchen and confirmed he had prepared the dish. I stated "the tomatoes and onions are fine, I can keep these but can you please prepare another eggplant, this one is crisp burnt." He sadly nodded and said okay. Ten minutes later the server came over and said "I went to check on your food and he told me the kitchen is closed, I'm sorry." I chuckled in disbelief and found it most appropriate to leave a review. I told her okay. I am not going to argue about vegetables, if the staff wants to leave or discontinue cooking, I must understand . If I knew the food was not coming back I would have taken a photo.

This was a horrible experience. The food was burnt, the portions ridiculous for the price. Go anywhere but here.

Ordered takeout and was not a pleasant experience. The chicken was hardened like it sat for a while and the sandwich was mostly pita with some dressing, vegetables, and chicken. It may have been a bad night to have ordered as we were the only customers. The ambiance was nice and seemed like a great late night spot. Parking was plentiful as it is a private lot. Service was friendly and greeted upon entry. Will have to try again at another time. Enjoy!

for those who live in NoVa and looking for late night eateries - this place's kabobs are really good. I've always been a fan of chicken platters , so their chicken kabob platter is really juicy, I've been here about 3x before writing this review and my chicken made has not been dry so I've been really happy about it. Next, the lamb mandi is oh my god- it just comes off the bone. it's so aromatic, flavorful. highly recommend for those who are afraid that lamb will be more gamey. honestly, it was so tender!also - must order apps include the hummus (if you eat at the restaurant, they give you extra naan) and the falafels are good too!

Chicken kebabs were so dry that I ended up feeding them to my dog. Also placed an order for two orders of fries and they never showed up. When I called the restaurant to let them know they didn't even apologize.. this food is a disgrace the country that it is supposed to represent.

Yikes. I ordered through UberEats...2 Marinated Chicken Platters and a side of Seasoned Fries...we got 8 pieces of the dryest and overcooked Chicken i have, LITERALLY, had in my life, fries that weren't even "seasoned" with salt much less any other kind of seasoning and 7 pieces of wilted lettuce. HORRIBLE. I didn't get the sauces the platter came with either. I called and spoke to a manager who verified our name and order 5 times as I told him 5 times what the problem was. He said he'd call me back after "figured out what happened." Which I knew was a lie because I just told you what happened...are you going to ask the employees why I had 3.2 pieces of overcooked chicken? He didnt have a number to call me back on anyways. Not sure how they got a 3.9 rating but don't waste your money. You've been warned.

I came here before and food was okay. I came today food was disgusting they clearly re warmed up the food from the night before. I ordered chicken shawarma and it was dry dark pieces some were literally burnt charcoaled.
