Yume Sushi

A modern, spacious, distinctly artsy. Upon entering, seating can be at the sushi bar or high tops (reservation). Happy hour is only outdoors (or in the corner bar room). The artwork on the backsplash is stunning, I loved the detail. Service is very solid and attentive. Overall Food is above average quality fish, including real wasabi! Have tried the following: the tuna Tartare- average nothing crazy but enjoyed the crispy seaweed chips! scallop salad-passable Yume Roll- not bad but spicy tuna was heavy on the sriracha Salmon Lover Roll-on the rich side, would order againChirashi bowl- highly recommend! Worth it and would order again. The bowl comes with Uni, foie gras, Bluefin tuna and fatty tuna. I would kill for this bowl. Only gripe is that everything has a little bit of black truffle; which can overwhelm the flavor profile of other things.Overall such a lovely place that met my expectations from what others have said! I'd happily return.

We went without a reservation on a Saturday, and it was packed! Thankfully, we were able to sit at the bar but would recommend making a reservation before going. The bartender (didn't catch his name) was super friendly and fun to talk to. He really made the dining experience superior. The food itself is very fresh. However, the portions are really small.

I found Yume because I initially dined at their second location in Georgetown which became my new favorite sushi restaurant. Come to find out, both menus are damn near the same which explains why I love this place so much. I haven't been to many sushi spots where you can't go wrong with what you order aside from Yume. If you're looking to broaden your sushi palette, this is the perfect place. But then again, you might you might end up disappointed with other restaurants once you try the food here.My favorite rolls are the Dream, Jeff, and Japanese Sandwich although all the others are equally as good. I personally just really like salmon and tuna. You can tell it's great quality and even the tempura bits look different than most other places!The drinks are also nice...they're usually made by the bartender Max. He does a great job with balancing taste and aesthetics with just the right amount of alcohol. Plus, he's pretty fun! I will definitely continue dining here and introducing people to Yume whenever I can!

I love sushi! This was delicious and did not have any complaints about the food. You have to try the award winning sushi "the winner" best $30! You'll spend. The salmon sashimi was fresh and wagyu was on point.

Everything is amazing from the midnight express cocktail to the uni pasta. Don't go looking for big portions, go looking for a fusion of art and flavor. Best restaurant I have been to in years. It didn't matter that I showed up on Valentine's Day without a date or reservation. The bar was a comfortable alternative and the service was impeccable. This place gets it high ratings for a reason. So glad I stopped in.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yume Sushi, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional, with each dish showcasing incredibly fresh ingredients. The pricing was fair and reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality you receive. The intimate setting of this smaller spot makes it perfect for a cozy date night. Overall, Yume Sushi offers a delightful dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for great sushi in a charming atmosphere.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! My friends and I come here all the time. The sushi is high quality and it's always a good time. We love Chef Peter and his wife Cici :) and the whole staff is super friendly as well. hands down my favorite sushi restaurant in the dmv area!

Service was excellent. Food was amazing. Drinks were pretty and delicious. Ambiance and aesthetics was definitely there. Everything was serving. Perfect for celebration / date night (we went for my birthday and they gave ice cream with candle!). I want to go back already!

Beautiful space with friendly staff. We tried the Japanese special, salmon lover, bunch of fatty tuna and eel sashimi. Also tried the baby octopus appetizer which was unbelievably great. We also had a spicy tuna sandwich type thing it was sushi but very interesting.I thought it was a little hard to find the place but there is parking in the back inside a garage for retail.Highly recommend.

Love love love this place! Their happy hour deals are to die for and the quality of their sushi plus the variety of options was amazing! They have some $5 rolls and drinks, an amazing ambiance with the tasteful decorations and lighting in here. On top of that, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming! I love yume and would recommend it to everyone in the area
