Yu Noodles: Hot, Tasty, and a Little Bone-y Yu Noodles gives off major "aunty and uncle's kitchen" vibes cozy, welcoming, and serving up dishes fresh and steaming hot. We ordered a little bit of everything, and most of it hit the spot! But let's talk about the duck. It was giving more bone than meat, like it skipped leg day... every day. A little too tiny to fully enjoy, but hey, not every dish can be a star. The dumplings? Solid effort tasty but not quite the #1 contender in my dumpling hall of fame. The location is nice, the restrooms are squeaky clean (always a win!), but if you're specifically on the hunt for top-tier dumpling soup in the area, this might not be your go-to. Still, it's worth a visit if you're in the mood for a warm, comforting meal and some low-key vibes. Would I come back? Sure but I'm leaving the duck behind next time. Service was good.

New found restaurant to go to for a beef noodles soup and chicken peppercorn. However we didn't like the beef brisket which has a sour taste, it is more than we care. But for sure if you like sour noodle soup, this is something you will enjoy. The service was really good - fast and they have a good system. The place can surely cater small to large group. This is only indoor seating. They don't accept Amex. For two people all of our orders with one soda included got us to $50+.

Pepper corn chicken - bland. Taste like mala soup based oil and nothing else. I'm sure they changed their recipe. The dish was more tangy and peppery before. Intestine noodle- they used to use beef intestine. Now they use pork intestine which is smelly..yikes.I probably won't go back again. So sad when the good restaurants going downhill.

Food:-soup dumplings (4.5/5)-spicy wonton (4.5/5)-pork bun (4.5/5)-N1 (4/5)-N2 (4.5/5) - would recommend this one if you can eat meat-golden beef noodle soup (2/5) - one of the priciest thing on the menu and it was tasteless, we had to ask for the spice because it was not spicy at all when it came out, very disappointingPros:-price is very reasonable for this day and age-plenty of parking in the lot-interior feels brightCons:-the first bowl I had was a little dirty-service was meh but kinda typical of authentic Chinese restaurants-can get packed during meal times, may want to call ahead

One of my favorite places in the neighborhood. Always quick service and great off-menu specials. I always get soup dumplings but then try a new noodle dish and pair it with a tea. Parking is easy, huge shared lot!

Really more like a 3.5. Service was kind and speedy. We had a variety of dishes between us and they were all fine, but did not live up to the hype that others have given this spot. The standout for me was the pork wonton soup. Soup dumplings were all fine, beef over rice was pretty good. Kiddo didn't love the steamed buns--the texture of the filling was odd. It was all really just middle of the road, nothing memorable.

Gosh I have been dreaming about those dumplings for so long. I don't live very close. So when I was in the area I had to make time to dine in ( takeout doesn't do justice I think). N it didnot disappoint. I went overboard and ordered .... Chicken soup dumplings, spicy oil wonton and pan fried pork bun. Loved all of it. I am biased to the soup dumplings and the spicy wonton. Can't decide what's my favorite.... lol . Can't wait to go back again. The service was prompt. It was relatively busy considering it was not dinner time yet at 5pm.

Yu Noodles is a DMV gem when it comes for Authentic Chinese Dishes. It's a place that offers very quick service and affordable prices for food too compared to other chains or places that offer Chinese food.I got Chongqing Noodles or N1 based on the menu and while the presentation is colorful, it is not relatively spicy at all. I would take my words with a grain of salt because I can't say for anyone else that tries this dish out and thinks differently otherwise. The noodles were plentiful, soup was hearty, and it was just a delight to eat.I also got Pork Soup Dumplings too; which were also great to get. It comes with vinegar so add some in after biting the tip and drinking the delicious broth from the dumpling. It is so savory that I can order two of those and be content with only eating it.I will definitely have to come back for more; there's so much good food here!

Sichuan beef noodle soup doesn't have much sichuan taste, supposed to be spicy and numbing and didn't get either of that. Noodles are ok - kind of spaghetti like. Dumplings were great!
