Yamachen's Sushi

What a delicious experience! The service here was top notch as well as the sushi! We came here as they were participating in Restaurant week and wanted to try a new spot. We ordered the Gyoza, king crab roll, iron man roll, crazy volcano roll and candy cane roll. We also had some spring rolls and edamame! Our sushi was beautifully presented on a boat and everything was delicious! The restaurant was also beautifully decorated inside.

Another fantastic meal here.The 12 piece tempura definitely can be shared between 2 people.... Absolutely delicious. New waitress is great. She is very friendly, attentive, and made sure we were happy with our meal. - note: the spicy California is not what I'm used to. The sauce seems a bit sweet rather than spicy. Portions are generous which is hard to find in Vienna now.

Some of the worst sushi I've had. Spicy tuna roll was sweet and not spicy. Rice was cold and unseasoned. My daughter had salmon, avocado, and the salmon was a little past its prime. Price was good. Portions were large, but the quality was really bad. I saw all the positive reviews. I just caught them on a bad day or something.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner. We been to Yama Chen in Fairfax so we already know the experience. Customer service is always TOP tier. Very kind, and checks up on you.We ordered two sushi combos so it should have been four sushi rolls total but they gave us a free roll. It was all really good. At the end of course they gave us free cheesecake dessert. This is our absolute FAV since it's such a perfect way to end a little dinner date.Since it is their grand opening, we downloaded their app and was able to get 20% off if we spend $45 or more. The combo roll we got was $25 for two rolls. I definitely think it's worth it especially if you are looking for a cute sushi date night.At the end they also gave us this gift for new years!10/10 would come here again.

Really lovely sushi, really lovely service. This is a chain, but don't let that push you away - the fish is extremely fresh, the rolls are unique and delicious, the service is overwhelmingly friendly, and the vibe is cool. It's definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in the area.

Staff is super nice and helpful. The food is definitely worth it too. We received complimentary edamame and they did not skimp out on the seaweed salad very delicious.

We had special rolls Crazy Yama and Superman, they are SO delicious! Great server Eileen too and she is very attentive and sweet! We will be back!

This was an accidental discovery. We walking to Sushi Yama for lunch when we realized that they are closed on Mondays. We passed this place on our way. I had seen it open months ago but had never payed any attention to it. It's in the same shopping strip with Dunkin Donuts and Dairy Queen. It tends to get lost among all the other stores. Cleverly, they are open on Mondays so they can pick up lost Sushi Yama customers. It looks like nothing from the outside. Inside is colorful with beautiful murals and pretty flags. We were offered complimentary edamame. We ordered the lunch specials and some extra sushi rolls. The waiter brought us complimentary spring rolls as well. All delicious. We will be putting this on our list of go to sushi places.

Very nice decor it really does remind me of the small restaurant places in Japan for good food. The waiter was very courteous and attentive. He helped us with the menu and gave us excellent recommendations too. Menu is very straightforward, clean with pics and arranged/grouped well. They also have a decent lunch menu for weekdays too. Food presentation very nice for each dish as can be seen in the pics. We really enjoyed the food which was not only pleasing to the eye but tasty too. I was enjoyed them so much I keep eating as the others were chit chatting. There was ample amount on the special rolls we ordered so they are good for single person or if sharing several with friends.I plan to also bring my co workers one day as well too. Overall really good experience with the food and atmosphere in this restaurant. Great for recommending as a meeting place to eat with a group of friends too. They have tables and booths.

Double Secret for Extreme Value! Next door neighbor of another very popular Sushi place, Yamachen's is sometimes missed! Check it out if you want large, high quality Sushi portions served in a fun and colorful environment. It honestly reminds me of my favorite noodle bar outside of Tokyo. Not many tables so it is really cozy and the service is always good. And wow! Check out the interior! Also great value for 22oz Saporo's and house Sake! Can't go wrong!
