Wow Bao

Food was overpriced .. teriyaki bowl looked like cat food ... Bao buns were out of a freezer and dry as the desert .. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL

A co-worker picked up some food for me from this place. Not my choice after having it already at the airport, but free stuff usually tastes better, right? Teriyaki chicken tastes like plastic. In fact, I was hoping to find some plastic in there that could justify the taste and the smell, but nope. They somehow turned edible food into something that smells like soy sauce and new car smell. Don't go here unless everything else is on fire...or unless you like to eat newly-opened Pokemon cards.

The food is worst than a microwave dinner. I never really leave a review but this was absolutely disgusting.

We got only one half of our order. The food was ok that was delivered but, came cold. If you have a problem with an order you email them. We ordered an other meal from a different restaurant. Very dissatisfied!

Terrible food. I ordered an orange chicken bowl that only came with two or three pieces of chicken didn't even taste good.

This place is on Grubhub although the location for the particular place that delivered my meal doesn't come up. It's a chain so I'm sure the food is the same all throughout. If I could give zero stars I would! I have tried them two times, giving benefit of the doubt. The buns have such a small amount of meat of meat and most is just bread but not tasty at all. The potstickers are poorly cooked, the white parts on the picture are undercooked hard dough. The teriyaki bowls are all dry and over cooked and the rice is hard. But worst of all was the orange chicken. It was burned and dry, yes the picture is supposed to be orange chicken. The entire meal was disgusting! I've tried it twice, never again! Don't ever waste your money on this establishment!!!

Could not find their location in Clarendon in Arlington, Virginia. It apparently does not exist at the address indicated. The phone number is an 800 number that took me to some promotional company that had nothing to do with this restaurant. They are stated hours on Saturday are 6 PM to 2 AM which seems kind of strange.

Absolutely terrible. I knew something was up when the delivery ticket had roti on it. The very worst boil in bag Chinese food garbage I have ever had to choke down. I wretched. The Baos were not cooked properly and the dough wasn't even correct for Bao. The kung pao chicken bowl looked like bits of foreskin in a weird brown sauce that vaguely had a flavor of something but vaguely nothing. The absolute worst experience. I physically feel ill. sadly I feel that this is a ploy by the company to try and diversify their revenue stream in order to hit numbers in order to stay afloat. Well guess what guys. This will kill the roti brand.

Tried to order delivery through Doordash. I ordered chicken teriyaki baos, and they were out. They waited until my driver was at the store and then told her to call me to tell me to cancel my order (which at this point was nonrefundable because the driver was already there and Wow Bao had indicated that they had started preparing the food). I asked through the driver if the restaurant could just give me literally anything else as a substitute, and they said that there was no choice but to cancel my entire order. I don't know if they just dropped the ball with accepting an order they weren't prepared for, or if they were trying to avoid bad reviews/metrics by making me cancel the order instead of cancelling it themselves, but this was a subpar customer experience.
