Nice rooftop bar at The Wharf. It was about 100 degrees the Saturday that we went and the bar was just starting to fill up around 5 PM. They have a lot of delicious cocktails on their menu ($19-22+ each) but the bartenders were ready to go for any off-menu requests. The food is typical bar food, but good for a rooftop snack.

Came here on a freezing, windy night so expectations may need to be adjusted.First, I never knew about this place until friends recommended it that lived in the area. You basically need to enter a lobby and get in the elevator that points you automatically to the floor of this bar. Second, the place is pretty small and I'm not sure what kind of atmosphere they are going for. There are only a few couches and a dozen or so bar stools outside of the actual bar area on the inside of this place. I'm sure the balcony has its perks when the weather isn't miserable. In terms of drinks, they are good, not great. You can easily get better drinks for half the price at the MGM a couple of miles away, or dozens of other bars in the DC area.Overall, though, it can be a cool place to have a date. However, be aware of the parking situation if you don't live in this area.

I've been to Whiskey Charlie at least 3 times. And in the past the experience has always been upscale, relaxing and flawless. This Saturday I went during the bloomaroo cherry blossom festival and I noticed that the level of service has declined and honestly that my bartender didn't really seem like he wanted to be there. The bar wasn't busy when we went maybe 6-8 people were around. I asked about the cherry blossom special drink they have been advertising for cherry blossom season and the event and I was met with a response that only one person there knows how to make the drink. I really wanted that drink to celebrate the season but I got the feeling that my bartender did not want to make that happen for me. So I ordered a different drink instead because it seemed like no one was going to make the cherry blossom drink. My bartender brought out the drink I had settled on and then 15 minutes later he handed me the cherry blossom drink. I told him that I didn't order that because it seemed like they didn't know how to make it. So he said okay and took it away. It was honestly a very awkward encounter. The view is still great but the service has declined and I am not dying to return anytime soon.

I came here for late night drinks and had an excellent time! The views are amazing and you can walk right in.It can be very romantic, they have small bites but I wouldn't expect a dinner. This is a great spot to start or end your night and locally they're open late night even during the week

Well this must be the best kept secret of the Wharf. I didn't even know it was there! It's the rooftop of the Canopy hotel and is basically not advertised. It was pleasantly vibrant but not even remotely full on a beautiful Friday night. Incredible view and stunning atmosphere! I had a "Captains Choice" cocktail and it was super well made and enjoyable. its a pricey place but worth grabbing one drink and enjoying the scene!

I was staying at the Canopy and the lady at front desk said that the rooftop bar was open, so we decided to go up for a drink. The setting is nice and there are some nice views. It wasn't too crowded when I was there and the hostess said there was service so I had a seat outside and after about 10 minutes, nobody walked by so I went up to the bar to order. Of course as soon as I sat down someone came by so I wasn't quite sure if I did the right thing or not. The seats outside were a little worn and threadbare so they didn't scream VIP. The drinks were fairly pricey but not too bad, although the sweet drinks were very sweet. This is a nice enough place and if it's not too crowded it's worth a visit.

I must have caught their staff on a bad night. The bartender was RUDE, grumpy and short with customers.
