TL;DR: Inside H-mart food court in Centreville! Great value, decent sushi!This place is more like a grab and go sushi. If you want to get a platter for a party or just for dinner, I think they recommend ordering at least a day in advance. The amount of sushi you get for the price is great! Doesn't matter which option you get, but only varies by size. We have gotten a platter from here multiple times now. The sushi quality is pretty good and always a crowd pleaser. For a quick dinner, I highly recommend the hweduhpbap (sushi salad). Looks like a big bowl with salad on the bottom and topped with a mix of raw fish. When you check out, they will provide you with rice and the spicy mixing sauce (chojang), (and miso soup? I can't remember).

My family always order sushi platters from here and we are never disappointed!! Always good!On Father's Day I actually went in 2.5 before close and the owner still let me place a catering order!Always good customer service. Owner is very kind too!!

This is inside the HMART and NOT a traditional sushi restaurant.It's more pre-packaged sushi rolls and hwe duhp bahp (sushi salad)My review is purely for the sushi salad.At $10.95, this is one of the best priced dish in Centreville.+Generous portions of sashimi on a bed of lettuce +Delicious miso soup and gochujang & rice to make it a spicy mealSecret tip- Add 4 spoonfuls of the miso on the rice and add a spoonful of sesame oil.

My mom and I's go to sushi place for large groups. We order a couple days in advanced and they're very accomodating. We both like to pay in cash. Mother's day was so busy but they had our food ready and the cut was thick! Loved it

*Not Sanitary*I was in line to buy sushi and the lady in front of me ordered sashimi salad (hwae dup bap). The cashier, using the same gloves that touched everything, grabbed lettuce from the refrigerator, grabbed sushi from the freezer and ran it under cold water, assembled the bowl, then took payment. Nope, nope, nope. I left right away and will never be back.

Ordered sushi platter for pick up at 6:15 but it wasn't even ready when I got there. Sushi rolls were TINY and was not like the pictures I saw on yelp. The rolls were mostly California rolls. I will not be ordering sushi platters from this place ever again. Very disappointed.

Wasabi Express is a small sushi restaurant in the H-Mart. I like to come here to pick up lunch, but there are lots of tables next to it, so you could easily eat there. The sushi is delicious! They have lots of options - sushi, sashimi, seaweed salad, California roll, sushi set, and other options.I am a huge fan of their salmon sushi. The price is AWESOME! This is my go to for sushi near work - no wait, delicious, fresh, and at a fair price!You can also walk around H-Mart once you're done and see all the cute dishware and tasty snacks. Always a plus!

We ordered a $100 sushi platter for Thanksgiving Day. The platter was promised to be ready at 4:40pm so that's when we arrived for pickup. However the platter was not ready until 5:30pm. There was a bunch of people also waiting for their platters, and in the same situation as us. The sushi was not that great either. I think they really rushed the platters so attention to detail was not there. I'm sure the platters are great on non-holidays, but please don't take a bunch of orders ahead of time when you know you can't keep your promise.

It was 30 min wait to pick up and just okay, nothing special. It seems like they just raised price by $10 past month.

Never order sushi or any food here. We ordered the sushi platter to pick up at 6 pm, but the rolls were all dried like they must be made a long time ago. I will not order sushi platters from this place ever again. It was terrible.
