Wah Mee Restaurant

Wah Mee has permanently closed after decades of serving DC the most questionable but satisfying Chinese food.

I have been patronizing since the 1970s; the food is still good. Currently, the outside of the building is being spruced up. Don't be put off by interior.

The food was stale tasting the shrimps were bad and mushy the general sous chicken was old and when I called to ask for my money back the owners yelled at me and hung up after telling me I could not get a refund on food that I said I was gonna bring back because it was not touched I spent $76 at this place and was not satisfied nor were my go workers who the food was also for I then had a Friend call back to which they also disrespected before saying no refund and hanging up do not eat from this place they will give you bad stale outdated food just to make a dollar they are rude and I will never spend money here again and warn you not to spend your money here either also the egg rolls were spoiled ingredients as well I wish I could give them no stars

I looked up a carry closest to me and never again. I was eating my food and found dead flies in my food. Brought it back and told them I wanted my money back and the lady was so rude. I don't recommend this place at all

The egg rolls and shrimp egg rolls were nothing to play with. They were so freaking good. All the food was good.

Everything is good about this restaurant. The food is excellent. The food is cook to order. The staff is friendly and patient. And they make sure you have enough condiments for your order.

I know Wah Mee has been in this location since forever, I finally got around to placing a delivery order. And will do so again in the future! Gen. Tso chicken was good. Not as spicy as I'd like but then I like really spicy food. The portion was large, fried rice was good. Spring rolls had a crispy wrapper and actual shrimp inside, not "mystery meat," a great change from many carryout. Hot and sour soup is excellent; a spicy rich broth, lots of tofu and veggies. A great meal.

I, have not been disappoint. Been going to this restaurant for 15 years. I live in SE, MLK, DC. Customer Service is outstanding. If, you are rude, you get back what you put out. Fresh, cook just right, tasted, lunch special is just right, and price is not to bad. Good parking. Check your area. I cater my luncheon for 10-20 people, no disappointment. NONE. Keep up the good work. Thank you Wah Mee.

Their food tastes like shit please don't do it like even if you considering it don't do it if you hadn't eaten in 400 days and they were the last food place on earth open DONT DO IT. I've given this place 3 chances and each time SHIT and it doesn't help the woman that takes orders has a constant attitude and is SUPER RUDE

The food that they post looks good but the rat hole they cook it in is nothing I'd wanna eat from!!!
