I visited this truck near Union Station. It took a while to get my order... Maybe 15 min. I ordered the pulled pork and it didn't really look like the photo, so I thought they might have gotten my order wrong but it was correct.I thought the pulled pork filling was really good. The waffle part was just ok. I might have liked it more on a regular bun. I saw a few people order milkshakes that looked really tasty so maybe that's the way to go. Especially on a hot day. I would also try a sweet waffle.

There have been a handful of Waffle trucks to hit DC, but this is the first that I deem worthy of a return trip. Keeping it short, waffles aren't rocket science, but most others cut corners and serve up cheap, reheated frozen waffles - and not even good ones. In contrast, this truck does it right. They serve up freshly made belgian-style waffles that have the slight crunch on the outside and soft and smooth texture inside.Taking a page from the crepe trucks, these guys offer up both Sweet and Savory waffle dishes. Sandwiches and platters on the savory side, and hot, sweet waffles piled with sweetness on the dessert side. I had a Croque Monsieur (Ham & Cheese) sandwich and a Caramel Waffle. Both complimented each other well as the sandwich was just salty enough and the caramel waffle was just sweet enough...not too sweet. They have so many options to choose from, it will take a while to get through the menu...but I will try!I will definitely be back for more. These guys know what they doing and care about offering quality food. If they could add a traditional chicken & waffle to their menu (they offer a couple of variants), that would be icing on the cake...or, in this case, syrup on the waffle!

I had the chicken and waffle from the food truck. Not a surprise - it is not anything like soul food chicken and waffle that you may be used to! Sorry! I am only giving 2 stars because the owner was nice and the presentation was unique. The waffle itself was salty - and yes that's with the syrup and powdered sugar! You couldn't pour your own syrup - the owner did it for you so mine was pretty dry. I actually bought syrup at my school and it did not help. Waffle was still super salty...The chicken did not look or taste fresh to me. I took a few bites and tossed it. I definitely won't eat here again.

First principle of sandwiches according to me: a club sandwich MUST have bacon on it. Otherwise, you're not in the club. (NOTE: This truck offers other pork products so it's not some sort of Kosher/halal issue either. Just a poor choice on behalf of the menu-maker.) Bacon would have gone a long way to help this flavorless, underwhelming sandwich aka the "Super Club". Spoiler alert: there is nothing super about this sandwich except how much it SUPER SUCKS. The waffle as a sandwich bread can be a beautiful thing when done right and sadly this sandwich misses the mark on all counts. The only thing I could taste from this mess was the waffle! When it comes to sandwiches, the bread should be an equal companion to the filling not the only star of the show. The rest of the ingredients were of subpar quality i.e. bland, low-quality deli meat with suspect "toothy" parts to it. YIKES. Spinach as the greens was an awkward choice as well -- too chewy and fibrous to be allowed in any club that's not explicitly Californian and even then, do people a favor and go with the baby variety. The mayo tasted vaguely chemical and was applied to, like, one waffle square per side of the sandwich. Yuck. To add insult to injury, the sandwich was not well constructed either, i.e. "flat" application of aforementioned mystery-meats with the tomato slices placed in the precise middle of sandwich. Do you know what happens when you put tomato slices in the middle of a sandwich? Yeats said it best: "Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold." I could only hate-eat the first half of this so I could have enough material to write an honest review. I can't believe I paid $8 for this mess AND tipped 15%. I'm letting this truck keep a star because the waffle itself was halfway decent and I bet it would taste fine with some nutella or ice cream (which the truck does offer). I also won't yet assign it to my "Roach Coach" list of shit-trucks because I consider this bad experience partly my fault: I should have bailed when they told me there was no bacon on the sandwich, but I wanted to give it a shot as I hadn't seen this truck around yet and I always love a good ham and turkey club. Maybe I'll try a sweet waffle offering if I get the chance and I'm in the mood, but I know for sure I won't ever be joining that Far-From-Super Club.

Friendly service, delicious waffles. Salmon waffle i order was delicious. Wanted a plain Hong King style bubble waffle to go and owner accommodated. There seem to be a lot more both savory and sweet option as well like fried chicken rolled in a waffle. Fun and yummy. This is my new fav truck.

The caramel waffle picture is misleading. It is not a liege waffle. The caramel is thinner than it appears - just a store bought syrup. Also, it does not seem like the waffle was made fresh. Not any better than a frozen waffle at home, really. I've been to other waffle establishments that really deliver. It is soft so that's a positive, and the gentleman that helped me was very nice.

Millshake had no taste and watery!! I saw him adding ice cubes to make it thicker and save ice cream!!! Is the wosrt milkshake I had in my life!! Also the size is not the right one comparing with the price plus they add a melting whipped cream. When I got mine, I found an ice cube, wasn't sweet and not tasty. Better to through it out than drink it. I DON'T RECOMMEND THE WAFFLE WORLD TRUCK MILKSHAKE. If I could give ZERO STAR I would do it!!!!!!
