two cars parked in front of a restaurant
Over priced, menu does not have what they serve. Waitress doesn't care.
Chicken and steak fajita
Great chill spot.
There are only two Tacos Al Pastor in the picture because I'm eating the third as I'm taking the picture.
Shrimp Fajitas and Steak Quesadilla
Chimichangga chicken
Most authentic taco I've ever had! Down to the quality of the meat and tortilla to the freshness of the lime and avocado!
three tacos on a white plate
interior, sushi and sashimi
2do cumpleaños y buscando tacos!

If I could give 0 star to this place I would. They jack you up on the drinks prices. I ordered a regular Margarita. Then we ordered 2 more rounds and the waitress kept asking me if I wanted alcohol. I said yes. When the bill came it was $145! I asked her why one margarita was $14 and the others $17 each. She said it was made with patron. I never asked for patron. The $14 one she informs me didn't have alcohol. So I paid for a $14 lemonade? BS. And she added the tip on there without my permission. This I had her remove. I have been to many Mexican restaurants before (much more upscale), I have never had this happen before "they only make margaritas with patron", yeah right! Usually margaritas are made with Cuervo unless you ask for an upgrade on the tequila. I have never paid these kind of prices at such a mediocre place. The shrimp plate I ordered cost less than my drink. I should have been suspicious of a place that brings you a food menu with no prices. RUN FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND GETTING RIPPED OFF!

we walked into the door and was just starred at for a solid 2 minutes while no other customers were in the restaurant. When someone finally spoke to us they had to keep switching people to talk to us because no one spoke English. we tried to place an order and the lady didn't even understand what we were asking for. We left after that because we were reading reviews of how people were getting over charged or their credit card information stolen by staff. Also the staff was doing shots.

I ordered 2 orders of fajitas I asked for 2 orders of rice and 2 orders of tortillas they said it only comes with one for us to share I didn't understand why if I had ordered 1 order of fajitas we would've gotten beans and rice and tortillas the same amount They have good looking women in there good looking women ask you to buy drinks and they charge you like 4 or 5 times amount for a drink for them if you buy them a drink so this place is ripping people off please Tell people that aren't charged like the health department

My friend recommended this place for the Tacos Al Pastor. This is not a place you take your date to impress her. It's one of those divey hole in the walls that you take your buddy from out of town to impress him with your local knowledge. Went here on a Friday at 11:45 and the place was empty (actually one person was at the bar). It took several minutes for anyone to realize that us patrons were there. No big deal as we were here for the Tacos Al Pastor. This place is so authentic that I was scared to drink the water :D.The three tacos have tomato, cilantro, a slice of avocado and have a green sauce on the side (got mine without onions/ceballos). I think the green sauce is avocado/cilantro based but is mild. The Al Pastor ($8.95) was crispy and delicious like I've had in SoCal and Isla Mujeres. Free chips and salsa also.I'm really grading this place for the tacos in the dive/hole in the wall category and not the total dining experience because you want the authenticity in a place like this. There is another Viva Tequila, maybe "I" instead of "II", in Franconia VA and it might be related to this one....that will be next on my list as it would save me the trek to Seven Corners.

The service isn't great, wait staff not attentive or appeared to really care all that much. The place wasn't very clean across the board. The food was decent in relation to DC area Mexican food standards. The music is LOUD! We were there in the middle of the day so there was really no need to have the music that loud. We asked them to turn it down and I think they might have even turned it up a notch.

After coming back from Vegas and eating at the legendary 4.5 star (with over 500+) reviews Tacos El Gordo, I was looking for an authentic taco spot like that place. Where they have fresh spicy sliced pork off of a spit roast, authentic sauces and diced veges in a lil tortilla. I had a mad craving for that, and my brother told me about this spot how it looked good. There was a limited amount of reviews here, so I thought I'd try it. Like others have said, they don't speak great English but they seemed nice, and when I asked them whether their Tacos Al Pastor was pork or lamb, they let me know it was pork, and that was all I needed! Too bad you can't mix and match the taco types, so I got 3 Tacos Al Pastor which is the pork type. Unfortunately, it's not the same spit-roasted pork like Tacos El Gordo, it's probably fried over in a skillet. That being said, the verde sauce and the avocado was pretty good, the pork did have a nice flavor, and the tortilla was good. It just wasn't what I was expecting, which was Tacos El Gordo, that may be too tall of an order over here.If anyone can let me know if there's a taco spot that has spit roasted pork, let me know! It's so delicious and I'll instantly send a compliment!

If I could give 0 or negative I would. Went with a group and it was the worst experience I have every had in a restaurant. They were extremely slow, could never be found, Messed up all the orders, said they were out of cheese (for real), no salsa in a Mexican restaurant, no chips, don't know how they are making margaritas because we couldn't find tequila anywhere in the building. Lucky we had someone who spoke Spanish in our group or it would have been even worse because they speak little to no English and aren't willing to help you if you don't know Spanish. They food came out randomly and wrong. Some got chicken when they wanted beef. Some got tacos when they wanted enchiladas, they pretty much did whatever they wanted. They added things to our bill that we didn't order, they charge $5 for a cup of ice and water but you don't find any of this out until the bill comes. Then have people stand around you and the door until you pay. PLEASE STAY!!! DON'T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED!!

Bad food. I mean no flavor, dry, and over priced. Clueless on how it has 4stars! Waitress barely cared. The menu does not have the food they offer! Who does that? No tamales, no enchiladas, and the menu gives incorrect portions. Everything was advertised incorrectly. After giving us what we didn't order (13.00$ each), asking them to correct the price (10.00$each), they compensated it to making the guacamole three times as expensive in other restaurants! The quac was sent out with the chips when we asked for it with the food. Hot mess. Hot hot mess Do not go advertises falsely and food was bland. 5$ for two tablespoons of quac! Lol No Bueno!

I happen to always go in right after the rush and enjoy the quiet time. The waitress knows who I am now and although my side item (tortilla) changes, I enjoy the food. Pretty quick. The camarones a la diabla is actually pretty spicy without being overpowering. Great lunchtime change, just try to hold back from the bar before going back to work .
