I think this is one of the best dim sum restaurants in nova. When fortune in seven corners closed, I had to go looking for a new go to spot and this one is it. I used to go here with family on holidays and it would get so busy and packed that the wait wasn't worth it. They have very few employees so during big rushes it's very hard but I came again on a random weekday and it was completely different. It was so slow that it was like I was having a private event but the food came out so fast and the waitress was very attentive. I like how you can order with the dim sum menu (that includes pictures) so it's easier to locate the things you really want instead of searching while you're trying to eat and talk with everyone. It's also a great place to show someone who has never had dim sum before!

I came here before but haven't been back for many years. To my delight they have dim sum here now so that was great. Inside looks just as I remember it with plenty of seating. Service was great and the waiter gave good knowledge of the menu.We ordered most of the traditional dim sum dishes and I enjoyed the food, it was very comparable to other places in this area. After my long hiatus I plan on coming back for dim sum now. Lastly I did notice is they had the pork buns that were baked and not in the traditional puffy bread. I prefer these since the traditional buns are just too much bread for me.

I was skeptical to eat at first when I saw the leaky ceiling, dirty tables and floors. But never judge a book by its cover, well that saying was wrong for once with this place. The food was not great I asked if they had any gf alternatives (in Cantonese and English) they said yes but it ended up just not putting in soy sauce. Then they kept asking us to add more dishes but it was just two adults and a small child. I said we didn't need that many dishes. And with that being said they had really bad attitude. Before we were done eating g they started to clean the tables (it was on around 6:30pm) They add in the tip automatically and when you say you want to change it they say it's store policy. Please don't waste your time here.

I take my 2017 review back, Vinh Kee is something I *do* crave on a regular basis! In fact, ordering a takeout spread from Vinh Kee on Lunar New Year has been my MO for the past few years. I'm not super traditional with my ordering but nothing beats their spicy fried pork chops (Protip: Save those crispy garlic bits and top it off on your rice), combination pan fried noodles, beef chow fun, mongolian beef and chicken fried rice. A meal here totally takes me back to my youth and chowing down on Canto food with my pops. It is getting a bit harder for me to find this style food in the area so I am so glad that this battered down restaurant is still dishing out the goods. Takeout is efficient and quick! I am a fan.

I have been here before and I am not going to comment on the food. But I am reading these very aggressive and border line rude comments by the manager and its enough not to make you go. Manager! You should be more service oriented and you clearly need some lessons in custkmer service. If you are going for dim sum you can find other places. Chinese restaurants in 2025 practice better customer service AND good food. You don't have to deal with Chinese staff stuck in the okd mindset of Chinese restaurant service. Move on

I came here back in Feb 2024 for take out for Lunar New Year. i ordered 2 lb of Roast Pork and several other dishes. the pork was rotten and i had the most difficult time with the rude staff trying to get a refund.but the funny part was discovering the meat was rotten. when i got into the car with the food, it smelled horrible in the car... i thought someone farted! it wasn't, so we thought the baby had a really bad poopy diaper, but it wasn't. then we thought the dog has a bad tummy ache and might have diarrhea anytime, but he didnt. (sorry babies for blaming you)it wasn't until we got home and opened up the box of meat did we realize that it was the meat. the meat had green/gray spots ... and it smelled like rotting death in a sewer! the stink stayed in the car for a few more days... blech!!then there was telling the restaurant staff so other customers wont get sick eating the rotten meat. i got scolded multiple times, "our food is good, i dont know why you would say something horrible like that. we are busy!" it was the rest was a time-consuming and frustrating process to just get a refund. ugh! i thought...what a terrible way to start the new year, but in a way we were fortunate that we saw the rotten meat at the top and was spared of food poisoning. phew!i havent been back ever since - terrible food and rude service

Still the standard for us when it comes to a traditional Chinese restaurant. Family menu for 10 was a nice selection of great tasting dishes (all food groups represented), including the favorite Vinh Kee fried chicken with lots of garlic, lobster, and a whole steamed fish. We also ordered an extra serving of crispy calamari also with lots of garlic, congee, bitter melon with beef. Staff were friendly and accommodating to our requests. Can certainly handle big groups. Lots of free parking spaces available.
