This was a very cutesy and warm wine bar-- it feels like a wine bar that's owned by a small family! Everyone was super kind and very helpful when we were trying to choose the wine.We started off with a cheese platter (which was great), and then moved on to order the beef tartare and risotto, both of which were fantastic. I'll definitely be returning if I'm craving a nice, casual wine bar with good food!

This review reflects my experience dining out with celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder that requires me to maintain a diet free of gluten (including cross contact).SERVICE: 3/5 starsDRINKS: 4/5 starsFOOD: Not applicableAMBIANCE: 4/5 starsVALUE: 3/5 starsOVERALL RATING: 3.5/5 stars (rounded up for Yelp rating)Friends and I popped into Vin Sur Vingt for drinks between events on a Saturday afternoon earlier this month. The vibe of Vin Sur Vingt is lovely--while small, the bar and dining area are warm, lined with dark wood and mirrors throughout. Our server was new to the restaurant; he had to check on a few questions we asked while ordering wine and food. I ordered a glass of Riesling, which was very expensive but delicious. Friends took advantage of the happy-hour special, selecting the rotating red wine available at a discount. Unfortunately, the menu at Vin Sur Vingt is not marked with information about accommodations for those with dietary restrictions, so I opted not to eat there.I would return to Vin Sur Vingt to take advantage of their happy hour.

Delightful little wine bar. The happy hour pours for $10 can't be beat! I enjoyed a lovely cote du Rhône. I also had a vegetarian croque madame sandwich with tomato and pesto. It was pretty good and came with some great seasoned fries.

Vin Sur Vingt is a cute wine bar and perfect for a 14th street girls night!! The wine flights are fun (and plentiful), the happy hour deal is great, and the food pairs well with all of it!

This was a great wine bar, and I can definitely see myself becoming a regular here. The wine was great -- aromatic, robust, and paired wonderfully with the food. For food, we ordered 3 cassolettes -- shrimp provencales, boeuf bourguignon, and duck parmentier. Everything was so flavorful, and my personal favorite was the duck parmentier. It was absolutely amazing and paired so well with the side of bread. The shrimp provencales were also seasoned perfectly, and the bouef bourguignon was very tender. We also ordered a side of fries, but they came out soggy and unseasoned. Interior is quite dark with low warm lighting, creating an intimate and cozy feel. Waiters are nice and friendly. A man who appeared to be the manager came over at one point and asked us not to take pictures with the flash, I don't think we've ever experienced this ask at any restaurant in the DMV area, so this was a first. Understandable if there were more customers in our vicinity, but the restaurant was pretty empty when we went. We also only took 3 photos with the flash, the rest were taken without flash. Overall, we had a great experience and can already see ourselves coming back!

This a nice French wine bar. I came here with a coworker for dinner. The drinks were great and the wine was even better. The food was also great as was the service. The only negative is that it's a bit noisy. It made it difficult to have a conversation. Overall, I would recommend this place as it has good gluten-free options, good service, and a nice vibe.

great vibes, chill neighborhood wine bar, decent options by the glass and list overall. for food, the burger is solid - cooked well, juicy, flavorful, you choose the cheese. bun couldve been better, it fell apart a bit. fries were good, chicken liver mousse was pretty good but would've liked it a little less thick

This place is a vibe!!! Skip Le Dip and head here instead. Cozy and beautiful interior, super friendly and knowledgeable, and the food delivers. I got a super traditional French meal - French onion soup, Niçoise salad, and a crème brûlée. Girl dinner to the max and I have no regrets, it was amazing! The waitress also completely understood the assignment for a solo diner and seated me in the coziest corner. I had the best time!

Omg! In DC for a conference and what a great experience. The ambiance is just lovely, right down to the tile work on the floors. I had the luxury of being the first customer of the evening so I got all of the attention of the servers. They are quite knowledgeable and so, so personable that I could easily spend hours here!! I ordered the Croque Provençal and, WOW, it did not disappoint.I am going to try to make excuses to come again this week. Excellent experience all the way around!

Had a fabulous time at Vin Sur Vingt!! Came around 6 with a friend for dinner. We had a reservation but the restaurant was empty so it'd be easy to walk in and there was plenty of space at the bar.We were seated immediately and our waiter came over quickly. We had a few questions on wines and were trying to decide between the two orange wines on the menu as those are our favorites. Our waiter was really kind and let us try both and we ended up getting a bottle. The wine was DELICIOUS we were so pleased. They have a ton of really reasonably priced bottles which is nice and an extensive list of wines by the glass. For food I had a variation of a croquettes madam with pesto and it was fabulous, decadent, and filling. The sandwiches come with fries or salad (I got both) and everything was delicious. The salad was fresh, well seasoned and tasty, and the fries have a really unique seasoning, also really tasty. The atmosphere is great. Dimly lit and quiet enough to chat. Great for a girls dinner/catching up with friends. The service overall and our waiter was stellar! Super attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back.
