Chicken was dry in parts. Plantains lacked the necessary crunchy exterior and tasted a lot like the oil they were fried in.
Good crust / dough in general. The rest was under- whelming.

I think this place has the potential to be great. That being said, improvements are necessary. First, the pizza. The dough is on point. Crispy crust and a nice doughy interior. The cheese though was a bit off. Too rubbery, thick and overwhelmingly salty. Also I question the freshness of the tomato on the margarita. Second, the chicken. It had great flavor, particularly the skins, which is as it should be. But the chicken was dry in parts, which is unacceptable. Third, it appears kid friendly enough, but really it's not. There is no kids menu. Not generally make or break, but a good pizza option for kids is needed. The margarita comes close but not quite. A regular pizza with tomato sauce, please. Fourth, why is the music on blast? Way too loud. Please turn it down. Too hard to have a convo, brau. And 7 dollars for some run of the mill beer is not gonna happen. Serve up better drafts.

This place is AWESOME. I went with a group of seven last weekend, and we were all smitten. Pizza + Rotisserie Chicken?! Vibe - The vibe is different - in the neatest way. A couple of us commented that it felt like we were in a different city - NYC, Phila, maybe? I loved the music. It was fun, 80's-ish, and pop-y.Food - Yum! The three bonafide foodies in the group were stoked. They admired the kitchen equipment (pizza stove, etc.), which is apparently exceptionally high quality. The true carnivore of the set was delighted by the chicken. Everyone enjoyed the yuca fries. The pizza was the big hit - delicious with a magical crust and lots of cool topics. (As the lone vegetarian, I was totally happy.) Price - Great. Go! Enjoy yourself!

I had an absolutely amazing lunch here today. My boyfriend and I split a pizza, a quarter chicken and yucca fries. Everything was excellent. The pizza was made with really fresh ingredients. The yucca was perfectly fried. And the chicken. Oh lord it was good. Just read the description of how they brine it on their website and you'll be sold. They have beer and wine for good prices. And the interior is super cute - kind of part diner, part industrial. Stop by here when before you head to the Nike outlet across the street!

Loved this place. The staff was super friendly and the food hit the spot. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the yucca was hot and crispy. Two classic Peruvian style sauces for dipping were excellent. We tried a simple buffalo mozzarella pizza expecting to have leftovers, but we devoured the whole thing.Cool retro diner vibe inside with booths for two or four with a counter service as well. Can't wait to go back.

I met up with a friend in a weekend, right around opening time. The place has a cute, classic diner feel while the staff were super friendly and very attentive with refilling her coffee. The prosciutto arugula pizza I got was delicious. Dough was perfectly crispy, prosciutto was excellent, arugula was fresh, and parmigiana flakes were the perfect "cherry on top"--and I'm someone who's usually not a huge lover of cured meat and strong cheeses! Would definitely come back!

Four of us stopped in for an early dinner. Two had the chicken panini, which was a daily special. One gave it a 4, the other a 4.5. Fries were keeping it from a 5. They were too greasy. One had the Peruvian chicken with yucca, gave it a 4. I had the margherita pizza, a 4.5. So, overall, food was spot on and delicious. Only complaints were that food was priced high ($17 for a personal pizza, $22 for a rotisserie chicken without sides) and drinks were outrageously priced ($4 for a bottle of soda, $6 for a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon). Couldn't give it a 5 with prices like that.

I was immediately drawn to this place because of the bright blue modern exterior, so cute! My husband and I toured the local distilleries and then ended up here for delicious pizza. We shared the quatro stagioni (artichokes ham mushrooms olives) and it hit the spot. If you're really hungry I recommend ordering more food since the pizzas are 12". We love Peruvian chicken too, so that was tempting... a family ordered it and it looked goooood. The owner is incredibly nice with a great sense of humor... he brought our items to our table quite quickly. Casual ambience, great for kids, perfect for post-drinking, friendly service, solid food.

Everything here was amazing. The sausage pizza was absolutely perfect. Fresh and flavored well. The chicken was cooked perfect and and the deep fried yuca was so good I ate the whole plate! My boyfriend is from Peru and gave them both the stamp of approval. They have a good beer selection and the wine wasn't bad for a pizza joint. The service was on point and the food didn't take long to come out. We will definitely be coming back.

Off the beaten path from DC's usual "foodie" neighborhoods but well worth the trip! We tried the pizza and the chicken. Both were outstanding. I highly recommend the prosciutto pizza, which was a great combination of flavors with fresh ingredients. The dough was exactly what I love, a doughy center with a perfectly wood-charred crust. The chicken was equally delicious. The skin was seasoned to perfection and the meat was juicy. And the sauces added the perfect touch! We'll be returning soon!
