Yum!!!!!!!! Everything is so flavorful! I appreciated the light spice on the dishes I ordered because I can't handle much spice. My favorite was the spinach dosa. The veggie curry was also so delicious with mild spice. Service is great and pretty quick. I was so happy to see all the vegan and gluten free options labeled!

First time coming here with my friend and two people he was showing around town. Small and intimate. Service wasn't the fastest. We ordered a few dishes to share. The eggplant dish Baingan Bharta and the Gobi Manchuria were my favorites. The food was served in disposable dishware, which was off putting and also kinda wasteful. I'd suggest to the restaurant to switch to proper plates!

Hole in the wall but with a very ambitious menu of vegetarian Indian food. The service was friendly as we decided to eat there. The dosas we decided to have were nice and crisp but the filling and the chutney were not up to farTo be fair we weren't very hungry

Samosa chaat was probably one of the best dishes I've ever tried in my entire life. Dosas were good but nothing special -- I've had better. The samosa chaat, though, carried my entire order. Great location, not that much seating. Friendly staff and also they were very helpful and allowed my friend and I to split a rather complex bill. 100% recommend.

The food was incredible. Everything we ate was delicious! We got tadka dal ( They even made it Without onion and garlic for us) , we got puri bhaji, paneer tikka, baigan bharta and lassis! The food was amazing! The place is a hole in the wall and is small, so it can be a little tight but the delicious food made up for anything the place was lacking! The lady serving the food was polite and really sweet. Would definitely recommend

My visit to Vegz, just before a show at DCAC, was a blend of hits and misses. The highlight for me was undoubtedly the samosas, which were delicious, and the fries, though standard, did not disappoint. The veggie Biriyani had a good flavor, but we encountered pieces of what seemed to be burned garlic, with an unpleasant texture reminiscent of tree bark, which detracted from the overall experience. The aloo palak, unfortunately, did not meet our tastes, but that's a matter of personal preference. On the plus side, Vegz offers a cozy and authentic atmosphere, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The charm of the restaurant and its authenticity are definite draws. While I have mixed feelings about our meal, the positive aspects make me open to giving Vegz another try, opting for different main dishes in the future.Didn't get pics of the entrees!

I am very biased with Indian food because I'm Punjabi and for me, my mom is the best cook. Not often do I come across Indian food where I'm genuinely shocked at how good it is and how it comes close to or is better than my mom's cooking. Vegz was definitely one of them. People working there were nice, had a smile on their face the whole time. The restaurant itself is no frills and honestly they don't even need to be fancy because of how good the food is.Their samosa chaat was the best I've had in the DMV area. I wish I got chole bhature because of how good the chole were in the samosa chaat. The Mysore masala dosa was also very good, but boy do they not mess around with spice! The sambar and the potato filing were super spicy which we loved! Thank god for the mango lassi though haha I honestly can't wait to go back and try more of their food!

Decent Indian food. I've had better and worse. The naan was reminiscent of pita. I didn't eat the rice. The Saag Chana was good.

I made a visit to VEGZ on Adams Morgan and ordered the Palak Paneer, Gobi Manchurian, and Naan. The Gobi Manchurian had great flavor and seasoning that I didn't even realize it was vegetarian. The palak paneer paired well with the basmati rice and naan and the meal filled me up. I do wish there was a little more flavor in the palak paneer but it was still solid. The service was also great as the workers made sure I had everything I needed.
