Vace

A classic Italian deli that offers some pizza as well. The staff are very friendly and the food was ready right when they said it would be. The inside is very casual as this is more of a deli/takeout than a restaurant. I can't speak to the other items, but the pizza was just fine, not great. The crust was thick throughout with a hefty crunch, but felt kind of dense and amateur/homemade. The cheese was underneath the sauce, which was unexpected but not a dealbreaker. Overall, I'm definitely going to explore the rest of the menu here, but I probably won't be getting their pizza again anytime soon.

I have ordered food for takeaway at Vace's other location, which is in Bethesda, Maryland. This Vace is located in the heart of Washington, DC's Cleveland Park neighborhood. If you want a pizza, please place an order over the phone. You should be quoted for about a twenty-minute wait for a cheese pizza on a Saturday night. While parking is not the easiest to find in this area, I was able to snag a spot while I picked up my order. The place was very busy. There are homemade items like pasta and sausage, in addition to grocery items like olive oil. The staff is friendly, and the pizza is decent.

The service is comically bad and almost endearing? I expected it after reading other reviews. The glowing comments about the pizza made me think it was going to be magical but it was just good.

This has been a favorite place of mine for many years. Over the years, I've come in for a slice of pizza or dough to make my whole or grabbing a sub or some wine or Italian goods!Quick service.My friend and I ordered a pizza to go. Sausage mozzarella and pepperoncini. Reasonable prices as well!Taste is wonderful! Spicy and saucy, just the way I like it!

Vace is a very no frills Italian take out restaurant. They are located a block from the zoo, so I stopped in for a piece of pizza to eat before visiting the zoo. There are no tables or chairs inside or outside, so prepare to take your food on the go. I order 2 slices of pepperoni pizza for $2.50 each. If you are paying with a card, they have a $5 minimum order. My pizza slices took about 3 minutes and they just wrapped them in aluminum foil.

the pizza it's so good! but the costumer service is horrible! theres a lady extremely rude, I can guess she is been working there for so long, she doesn't care anymore, we bought the pizza and she told me 20 minute to be ready, I come back after waiting in my car, and this lady told me, "what are you waiting for" I told her the pizza i bought then she ignored me and after a couple of minutes she is back asking what I'm waiting for, she checks in the back and the pizza what's already ready, but she came back asking for what kind of pizza I ordered but in a very rude way.

Nice store! Reminds me of old New England. Really good stock for such a small location. I like their pickles as well as their olive selection. I did get a slice of pepperoni pizza for $2.50 which is pretty damn good. The price of other items is pretty reasonableThey don't provide free bags which is one reason I'm knocking off a star. They have a small parking lot in the front. I did not have any issues with the counter service. I highly recommend!

Never been here before and went in just to check it out, was hungry so got two slices. Wasn't expecting much since slices were 2.50 each but darn, probably the best pizza I've had in a while, crunchy and cheesy and yet thin. Wow!

Highly recommend. The sauce is the best part IMO. The pizza was crispy and not floppy. There is a good amount of cheese but not too much. Overall just quality pizza. I give it an 8.3 out of 10.

Great pizza because it is the only place that puts the tomato sauce on to. Also in addition the pizza tastes better than all the other restaurants. Plus it is not school pizza.
