The restaurant was not very full so we kinda felt like the only people there. The servers were very nice but the service was a little slow. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer and they were ok. I had the steak and eggs for my brunch meal which was really good! The steak was huge and cooked very well. I also really liked the breakfast potatoes. Overall the food was good but it sounds like they are still making some improvements since they're somewhat new. Definitely think it would be worth to revisit!

Stopped here for dinner before a a show at Lincoln Theatre. The food and service was great. Pablo behind the bar made us some wonderful drinks. We will be back for sure. My wife had the salmon over a mushroom risotto. She loved it. had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was delicious.

As a place that is working towards a reputation of good food and drinks, it has some work to do - but I'm hopeful. I met a friend at 7:30p. The restaurant was very slow but the music was very loud! I felt like I was yelling the entire time. I'm sure the volume was to attract people as they strolled past on 14th but my goodness! I ordered the crab mac and cheese. I couldn't see the crab but I could taste it. Not bad...Friend ordered a quinoa salad. He ate it all so presuming it was good. I also ordered an espresso martini - it was realllly strong. Overall, I hope it stays around. I'll try again in a few weeks, once they've settled in a bit more.

I was in the mood for a burger and live near by. My usual spot in the neighborhood is Jojos but they were closed today and figured let me give this new place a try. When I arrived there was one other person there having wine and myself. I ordered a basil Hayden old fashioned ($22) and a burger. Again, there's two of us in there. The burger took about 25 minutes to get to me. The other person there got her fries like 3 minutes before I got my burger. I ordered my burger medium well. I get it and ask what all the red dripping was all over. The food runner who brought it said let me ask the bar tender who was on the phone. 5 minutes later the bartender comes up to me and asks "what's wrong with the food" and I said, what's all this red stuff. He said, "oh I think they made it meduim rare:" I explained that's not how I wanted it, so he takes it back to remake.The woman beside me gave me a look like "girl run" and shortly after she did too without finishing her fries and only her wine. I took my cue from her and asked for the check and headed over to bus boys. The bar area was also not clean with a bunch of glass stains, again - 2 people at the bar and one person who came in to pick up an order. May go back for a drink, but never the burger.

Pablo is an amazing bartender. If you don't like what's on the menu just ask what else there is. He will customize your drink to your taste. The food is also fantastic. I can't understand the bad ratings. This place is a favorite!

Cute vibe, it wasn't too crowded. Went right after work on a Friday. The crowd picked up around 11. The hookah and drinks were cool. Really good drinks actually. The food wasn't great and wouldn't recommend I got the fried chicken sandwich, bread was stale. Fries were good though

"Highway robbery during Happy Hour!"I went to 14th Street Lounge expecting a decent happy hour experience but was completely shocked by the prices. They charged $23 at the end of my bill for TWO CANS of Modelo--and this was supposed to be during happy hour! Not even a draft pour, just two cans. Insane.This level of price-gouging is beyond absurd, especially considering there are plenty of great spots in D.C. that don't exploit their customers like this. The atmosphere wasn't even impressive enough to justify the outrageous prices. Definitely won't be coming back. Save your money and go somewhere else where they actually value their patrons.
