My first Door Dash delivery and I'm pleasantly surprised. I took a chance on ordering from a place I'd never heard of and I'm glad I did. In the picture is pulled pork and brisket with collard greens and cucumber, corn and tomato salad. Also got the soul rolls but forgot to take a pic before I devoured them (the other container is the dipping sauce). I'm full from the soul rolls so I'll have to eat the rest of the food later. Tasted the brisket, pulled port and cucumber, corn and tomato salad and had to remind myself that I was already full! Food is very nicely flavored. Will definitely order again. Food arrived before the appointed time so I was happy.

I'll start with saying I wish I could have given them 0 stars but that's not an option. This place is horrible as they are selling old food and the customer service is disgusting. I decided to stop in and try this place this passed weekend. I ordered the pulled chicken with fries and the fried shrimp. On my way home I decided to taste the shrimp and discovered it was spoiled. The batter had a really good flavor but it was clear that the shrimp had expired. I decided to go back since I hadn't gotten very far, to just get or something else. When I re-entered the store and informed him of the shrimp being old and elites he responds that all of there food is fresh and that if I didn't like the food I should have just said that. I was immediately taken aback because not only was he basically calling me a liar but he immediately became defensive. He then told me that I could get something else as they don't offer refunds. I told him that I didn't feel comfortable doing that either since I could've sure that it would be fresh given that the shrimp weren't. I decided to just get some boneless wings. By this time another customer had come in and asked me what happened because he heard us going back and forth. I told him about my experience so I guess given what I just had informed him he decided not to order and left the store. Another worker cane from the back and he was talking to the guy who took my order and who basically told me I was lying about the shrimp. They were talking in a foreign language but it wa me obvious they were talking about what just had occurred. I guess he noticed me paying attention to their conversation so he came over to me and explained that he was telling him that I didn't Luke the shrimp and I cost him a customer. I told him I didn't cost him anything, however, the spoiled food that is being sold may have done so. The gentlemen asked me a question and I answered. Once my boneless wings were done the cook brought them to the other side and open them and said something in their foreign language and looked and me then the guy tells me my wings were ready. Needles to say I left those wings right there. Do yourself a favor and NEVER dine in this place. S/n there was a Uber east delivery person picking up an order while we were going back and forth and he pulled me to the side and told me that they get complaints all the time. They are known for selling expired food. This place needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY!!!

The food was good the people were friendly I think they need to do a better job with protecting the sauces or capping them...way to many flies or nats...other then that pretty good

I have never actually been to the restaurant but I have ordered their food. I was looking for a good bbq place with pulled pork and I have to tell you I was blown away. The meat was so tender and juicy and had an excellent flavor. They always forget my sauce but fortunately the meat is good without it. They're burnt end beans are also excellent. I would highly recommend of you want some excellent bbq. They always have me as they're biggest fan, if the delivery fee was high or it was a distance from me I would drive and take a trip and bring it back in bulk and freeze it because it's that good!

It was horrible I got brisket with soft ends that were gelatinous everything was horrible I had to take pictures ... save yourselves from the misery ... gross

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the food was delivered hot. Now on to the actual review. The Mac and cheese toasted sour so I stopped eating it. The pulled pork was grey with little white who knows what's on top of it, didn't eat it for fear of getting sick. The BBQ sauce had no flavor, full on liquid smoke. The Texas eggroll dough was raw and the meat inside was crusty and black. The beans were also sour. I understand that we are in a pandemic and it is difficult to maintain high standards for food quality right now but this was just gross. I suggest giving your money to the smaller restaurants that are still taking time to care about what they are serving you.

The food is terrible! The ribs were so greasy - NOT juicy, just greasy - that I could squeeze them and make a puddle in my plate. And the mac and cheese was definitely boxed. I wasted $11 and some change. Don't waste your money!

Run. Run far away.There is NOTHING about the food that is bbq or smoked. The brisket is dry. The brisket sandwich has some kind of what I can only guess is cheese on it and looks like someone ate the food and crapped and boxes it up again. The cornbread was clearly frozen and thawed more than one. The chili dog has chives on it. There is quite literally nothing redeeming about this "food."

If I could give zero stars I would!!.First of all the guy at the register acted like he was under the influence of SOMETHING! he didn't no the cost of anything, he was ringing up items I hadn't ordered and then overcharged me for what I did order. I ordered the 5 bone rib sandwich and he charged me for a pulled pork and I received a 3bone rib sandwich. I paid with a 20 and he couldn't make change and didn't know how to run my card so I found the exact amount, but noticed it was wrong and he proceeded to give change from his pocket. When asked to speak to a manager she came out but let us know SHE JUST COOKS SHE DOESN'T DO REGISTER!.I got home and notice my order wasn't right and tried to call back and after 2 days an 20 attempts with no response I gave up. The food is terrible and so is the service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Go to Johnny Boys or Ebony Inn!

Something bad has happened to this place recently. Me and my family used to love the food here. We ordered carryout on 4/26/22 and was greatly disappointed with the quality of everything! The Soul Rolls are supposed to be a hearty, crispy "egg roll" type dish. Our 5 orders were flimsy, soft and bad tasting. The dipping sauce lacked cheese that makes the sauce pop. The Pulled Pork sandwich was charred and tough. They were not stocked to serve basic side items such as baked beans. I was not advised of this until I checked my order and they were missing. I don't know what happened, but they are not fit to open their doors these days.
