Great spot and delicious coffee - have gone a few times at this point and will again! Also tried the monkey bread once, which was tasty.Staff are always friendly as wellOne note is I think they don't have anything but whole milk. I say this because after the third time (I automatically ask for skim) I went, I tracked that they always told me something like "we don't have that right now". I think possibly they just don't have anything but whole milk? Which is fine, but a note that it may be useful to say "we only have whole milk" then I would have stopped asking

Beautiful beans and coffee. Orange latte is sweet but not overwhelming or too similar to other versions offered in chain coffee shops. Cozy nook in La Cosecha with bar style seating (wouldn't recommend for a social coffee more than two people). This place could improve its service. Both times I've visited, the baristas seem too busy to answer questions or even ask them (ex: hot/cold, type of milk, etc). The employees also never say thank you which stands out to me. Great grab and go location with space to improve service.

Can't roast(ers) this coffee shop! I stopped in for a quick coffee on a Saturday morning. I almost missed it because it's located in the food hall, but they have a cute little nook with some seats. I got the orange latte with oat milk and was pleasantly surprised by the robust but not overpowering flavor. I would definitely recommend trying some of their seasonal flavors as they are definitely a standout compared to other places in this area. I wasn't impressed by the pastries (the croissants looked a bit pale) so passed on those.Overall, would recommend popping in and trying it out!

I enjoyed my vanilla latte aside from there being some solid pieces of something at the bottom of my cup that kept uncomfortable getting in my straw. It did not feel mixed enough.

Great find and the perfect coffee spot for the hard to please, indiscriminant coffee lovers out there in the DMV!I stumbled on this place while riding past the Union Market neighborhood the other day, badly in need of coffee. And, so glad I did. I was completely impressed with the coffee products sold here at Unido. Also, I'd argue this is probably the best place in DC for coffee, if you're into single-source and specialty coffee brews. As a first timer, I was greeted by a Barista named Louis. This guy really knew his coffee and explained the concept of the coffee products in the store. During this time, I learned that the source of the coffee products sold were from Panama in which to be frank, I had no clue that Panama even had a global coffee presence. So out of curiosity, I was interested in trying their coffee to compare my thoughts of what they had to offer to other DC coffee 'Likes' around the city such as Sidamo, Blue Bottle Coffee, Kaldi's, Compass Coffee, La Colombe, Starbucks, and even Dunkin'! Yeah, I know....doesn't take much to outperform the latter....lol.At any rate, this place won me over. I was blown away by the flavor and taste of Unido and their Panamanian coffee. In the store, I tried a Geisha Pourover. The attention to detail, the presentation of the coffee, the ceramic cup all added to a great cup of coffee and ultimately my coffee pleasure. And the coffee itself, was delicious and perfectly brewed with a flavor profile that was nutty and chocolate. I like my coffee black and this one was perfect.I also tried an Iced Americano, at the recommendation of the Barista "to-go." The iced coffee was so rich, smooth, and full of an earthy --lite caramel flavor; which speaks to the care and quality of the beans that goes into making a cup. He added a shot of Ghirardelli dark chocolate that took this cup to the next level. In all, a great find. The vibe and atmosphere is chill and relaxing. Louis, the staff member there was knowledgeable and friendly, offering great suggestions for drinks to try.If you haven't been, I would recommend Unido....it's certainly worth a stop when in the Union Market neighborhood!

I am steadily working my way through Unido's menu, and I love this cafe so much that I bought their branded insulated mug, and use it every day! If there is a wait/line, it's worth it to try some truly educational and exclusive Panama coffee. There's something for everyone's tastes and as a daily tea drinker I appreciate their high quality selection. Tip: Make sure to stop inside La Cosecha (or Union Market) for delicious Venezuelan pastries from 300 Grados Bakery.

Cafe Unido is definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in DC and I love this location in La Cosecha! They only sell coffee and some pastries here, but there are plenty of other options in the food hall and in the Union Market area. There's also tons of seating which makes it great for coworking! The lattes are just as good here as at the Shaw location - I especially enjoyed the orange raspadura latte even though I don't typically like orange or fruit flavored lattes. The flavor was perfectly balanced and the lattes are always the perfect sweetness and creaminess!

I had two different coffee drinks from here over the course of the day and both of them were very well crafted. They have a smooth and bold espresso that the barista pulled amazingly.Try the straight up espresso and the machiatto.

Coffee is absolutely fantastic. I normally drink drip coffee and was very good. It is a coffee bar as part of a food court so little noisy and not appropriate for working out of. But great neighborhood vibe.

Review for coffee only. Location near Union Market. This might be the best coffee I've had in DC thus far, and I've tried a lot of coffee. It's so good! No sweetener or flavor needed!! How we if you do want flavors, they have them! I like the oat latte. I've tried iced and hot and they're both divine!!! And there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, or you can take your coffee and walk around the lively union market area. I've ordered coffee here 3 times now and love it each time. I will of course definitely be back!
