We came into DC for a volleyball tournament. Trying to find a place to accommodate a party of 30 in the downtown area was impossible and super expensive. The Trio Bistro came through. They were accommodating and the food was fantastic. The host was super sweet! The food came out hot and the drinks were delicious! Will definitely use them again when we come back next year. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This is what authentic simple goodness is about. What makes it even nicer is the hospitable and thoughtful wait staff. The ambiance is suitable for date night, girls/guys night, or business connection. Local is always better. Happy eating.

Excellent spot for outdoor drinks and people watching. We stopped by on a sunny Saturday with my wife and daughter - the crowd was quite diverse. On the day we visited, there was an adult kickball team celebrating what appeared to be a victory, people with pets, groups of friends and couples. It was a fun place to go, drinks are reasonably priced, and there are plenty of options to choose from. Since all of the action in NW DC happens on 17th Street, this is the place to be!

Solid brunch spot - not amazing, but solid! If you want bottomless mimosas/bloody Mary's, then it's a great option! The Bloody Mary is basically an appetizer, haha! Rum punch is yummy! They have some coffee drinks, but no espresso. Food was pretty good - with the exception of the steak & eggs... that steak was WELL DONE... not medium, but it already came out significantly later than my partner's food, so I wasn't going to send it back at that point. Service was veryyyyyy slow, but friendly. Good, not great.

Go for: bottomless mimosas on Saturday and Sunday for $23, a group reservation. and the awesome patio. Don't go for: a gourmet meal you're going to write home about. My group of 11 found the experience very positive for what we were looking for. Truly bottomless mimosas, a great value. We all started with a full glass and received several huge pitchers to refill ourselves. Very smart system! We enjoyed the patio on a lovely day. None of the food was bad, just typical American and brunch fare. People said the burger was excellent. The turkey club had a tasty remolade (not a ton of meat but enough for my tastes. Don't get it if you want a huge stack of meat). The smoked salmon flatbread was rather impressive! Service was average. We had a great time overall!

I made a reservation for three and it was oddly empty at this place. We ordered margaritas off the happy hour menu and they came out looking like club soda... no lime and so much salt. It was mostly well tequila. Then, I got a platter of chicken strips, zucchini fries, and mozzarella sticks. Overdone, fair food at best. Then I was still hungry and ordered mac and cheese. It was bland and served in a bowl as if it were on the kids menu for $14... this place was arguably the worst experience I've had at a Dupont restaurant before! I am not even picky, but our server was also just not accommodating or present at all. 0/10. Go across the street to Floriana. The outside area was nice but for $40 I got literal fair food.Not to mention they were "out of chips and salsa" which happened 15 minutes after I ordered them.

Came here for brunch on New Year's Day and had an amazingggg time! The staff was super friendly and service was quite speedy. We indulged in their unlimited brunch drinks (priced at $22 per person!) I kept it classic with mimosas and my boyfriend had rail vodka/orange. The food came out within about 15 minutes, we enjoyed the variety of the menu. They literally have something for everyone! The waffles were soft and fluffy, with crispy bacon and two tenders. The steak and cheese was deliciously seasoned and accompanied by a crunchy and tasty side salad. We will definitely be back during 2023! If you're looking for an affordable brunch; stop by Trio, you not be disappointed!!
