I have been here twice and twice been wowed by the service and the food. The views of the city and eclectic decor lend to the care-free but meticulous detail that carries over into their food.On Mondays they have all day happy hour and the chicken tacos are $3.00, but they are worth their regular price and more. The chicken is just the right amount of spicy and juiciness. The tortillas are just the right size and crispness. Sprinkled with the pico and lettuce; perfection! I've had them twice and been satisfied twice! Consistent experience! I am also not a guacamole eater, but this guacamole has made me a believer. I could go on and on, just try it. You'll love it!

Great view of the city and sunset! Came here after work for happy hour (all day Mon and 5-7pm Tues-Fri) and got some margaritas and tacos. The service was good, waitress was attentive and checked in frequently, The paloma and classic margarita were good and decently priced for happy hour. I ordered the happy hour tacos (yucatan chicken taco and general tso cauliflower taco) and the grilled rockfish tacos. All were a miss for me. I specifically said I had a mild allergy to onions and asked for it to be omitted from my tacos but it was still in there, general tso cauliflower weren't crispy and fish was bland. Grab the drinks, skip the tacos and enjoy the view!

We had a MF ball here yesterday, but before you get into the rest of the review, please know that our server, Alex, was AMAZING. She was thee star of the show. Everything else about the experience was complementary. Honestly. But we loved ittttttt nonetheless. It was all pretty great.Location Deets: Found easy, free, street parking about a block away. It's located atop the Nell Hotel (they have really clean bathrooms!!!!).Service: Alex provided amazing service. She anticipated our needs even before we recognized what they were. She moved with urgency. She was dope. She seamlessly handled a tonnnnn of tables, inside and outside. Best server I've had in a very long time.Ambiance: This place has such a cute little vibeeeee. Omg! We snagged a half-booth out on the rooftop and enjoyed Lemon drops and Leopards for HOURS. The inside is really cute, too, and honestly, the hotel this place is located in is cute AF, too. The whole jungle/plant vibe speaks to my soul. And there's suchhhhh a cute view from outside. Comida: Let me tell you something: those Rockfish tacos? TUHHHHHHHH. They were sooooo good. We ordered three as like an app to go with our chips and guacamole. Fuegoooooo. The chips and guacamole were very basic. Salsa was good, though! The corn ribs (elote) were a hitttttttttttttttttt. Omg. Can't wait to come back. Enjoy these cute pics!

Where do I start, I love this cute rooftop above the hotel. The ambiance is really nice with indoor & outdoor seating perfect for a date night. Parking was free for 3 hrs in the garage next door which is great for DC! You are able to enjoy yourself without having to pay a pretty penny for parking. All the food was amazing. The Chimichurri brisket tacos were soooo flavorful. I could have ate 6 of them. I love me some Elote so those corn ribs were just perfect! The drinks were balanced and good. For dessert, I had to get the pastelitos. I love anything with guava. Everything was bomb, and our server was good. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you Treehouse for blessing DC with the vibes.

A friend and I went here for Juneteenth as it was advertised on their instagram that they were selling a speciality cocktail where the proceeds were all going to the NAACP. Once we asked about it, one server didn't know about it and then the other said it would only be available for one hour later that night. None of that information was shared on instagram. So, we stayed for a bit for happy hour. I got the chicken tacos and a drink, which both were pretty good but not what we originally came for.Just an FYI: HH is only at the bar and outside. It was way too hot to be outside so luckily we got there when HH started and were able to get seats at the bar and about 30 mins into it the bar area was crowded.

We originally planned to have drinks and dinner that night. But they lost power in the morning and I got a text saying they were not serving dinner and offered to comp a round. So we decided to stay the course and have drinks but then go elsewhere for dinner. Shelley made great drinks. Loved the leopard drink with spots! The mescal added a smokiness to it. I also got a skinny margarita. Bar was nice. Loved the decor. It was dead but that probably was because of all the canceled reservations. Will have to return!!

It was just ok. The food was good but the atmosphere is not as "vibey" as it looks. The bartenders were dry and frustrated and the music catered to a very specific crowd.

Usually rooftops in D.C. gloat the U.S. Capitol, but the shining star of Treehouse Rooftop is the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, the continent's largest Catholic Church building. Located inside the Union Market Hotel just north of the actual Union Market, park in the lot near the market and walk up to avoid paying parking garage fees closer. Walk inside the hotel lobby and find the elevator that takes you to the rooftop. Once off, a hostess will direct you to a table or the bar with city views. Inside a well designed space, only drinks were available when my buddy and I went. Cocktails range from $16-$20. They also have wine and beer. If you like margaritas, get the Porque Elote with oaxacan cheese washed espoion blanco, sotol ono, fermented corn syrup, chinola passion fruit liqueur, and lime. It was excellent!
