I visited TipThai this afternoon for lunch. GREATTTT place. For a while, I've just been walking past because this location has changed a million times in the last 8 years that I've worked the next street over. However, I decided to give them a try with my sister and friend today and I AM SO GLAD! This place is small but they've done great things with the space. There is a tiny round bar to sit at as well as table seating. There seems to be a downstairs but I don't think it was opened. The staff is super sweet and accommodating. The cherry on top was my amazing pad see ew. The menu is huge but I can say it is pricey for Thai. I intent to visit again to try more to test the waters further

Stopped in to grab a bite before the concert.Between us we ordered: Summer Rolls Crab Rangoon Pad Ginger The summer rolls had a lot of sprigs of cilantro which overpowered it a bit and we like cilantro. The Crab Rangoon was perfect and the Pad Ginger was a little sweeter than I'm used to but very tasty. The service was great and very quick. Cute little restaurant.

I recently checked out Tipthai Cuisine in Washington, DC, and it's a solid Thai spot that I'd happily visit again. I ordered the Panang curry with fried tofu and white rice, while my partner had the short rib and broccoli stir fry. The flavors were fantastic! The Panang wasn't as peanutty as I expected, but it was still absolutely delicious--definitely a dish I'd recommend. My partner also raved about the stir fry, so it's safe to say we were both happy with the food. The interior of the restaurant is nice and modern, which adds to the overall vibe. However, my one issue was with the bathroom door--it wouldn't stay locked, and someone almost walked in on me! Definitely not the best moment.Aside from that, I really enjoyed the experience. The food, the atmosphere, and the friendly service make Tipthai Cuisine a great spot for tasty Thai eats in the city.

This place is always packed for lunch! I was lucky to snag a table during the lunch rush. I was promptly greeted and served. The chicken fried rice (generous portion) and thai tea are delicious! I wish they had lunch specials though.

Popped in for a quick lunch and chose the woonsen soup and summer rolls. I was a bit disappointed when I realized the summer roll didn't include shrimp. That was my mistake but also made me realize the cost wasn't worth it. It was good but not $8 worth good. The soup was super flavorful and filling. Not a lot of meat in it but tasted good. I would order again. My online ordering experience was easy. I was greeted when I entered and my bag even had "Happy Valentine" on it, which was a nice touch. It was empty when I visited but it seems like a nice spot to have decent dinner. It is small and cozy but parking can be a hassle. Luckily, it's right across from the Archives metro stop for convenience. I will probably return again the next time I want some woonsen soup or other Thai dish.

This place was packed. It does feel kind of cramped but I also take it as a sign that the food is good...and it was. I ordered the green curry and the wonton soup, both were delicious. The staff were nice and attentive. I'll be back for lunch.

Great restaurant. All working that day was helpful and friendly. I stopped by here because I was hungry and hadn't eaten all day, and I wanted to eat something before the concert that I was attending in the evening (Epik High). The two ladies working at that time we're very nice. I had pork satay and fried tofu with sticky rice. It was very awesome and totally go back next time I DC. The restaurant was very cozy and awesome. I had a great seat sitting in the window section.

I enjoyed my Thai tea and drunken noodles. I found the service to be attentive and the meal to come out fast. The thing I could not get past though is the restaurant has a very weird smell throughout it. I am not sure whet it is but it made it difficult for me to fully enjoy my meal.

I was excited to have a Thai restaurant near my office but I was a bit disappointed in the two dishes I tried. The Pad Thai was sweet and I'm so confused and disappointed because it had all of the Pad Thai components: tofu, chicken, bean sprouts, crushed peanut; spring onion. Two months ago I had the drunk noodles; it was good but i didn't like the tomatoes. The staffs are super nice and friendly.

I'm glad I stumbled upon this place. It was so hot outside and this restaurant has just opened and is in a great location just by the metro. I ordered the shrimp pad thai and it's probably one of the best pad thai I have had. The customer service is also really great. I was just visiting DC briefly but wanted to write this review so that this awesome restaurant can be on people's radars. Definitely good food.
