Came here with a friend for a late lunch and it was not too noisy which I love. Do not let the lack of dine in customers fool you into thinking that it's not worth giving their menu a shot. There were a ton of take out customers while my friend and I were there. Given that this was the first time we had eaten Salvadorean food it was clear to me to order pupusas and they did not disappoint. 5/5. Warm, fresh tasting, not soggy, great texture. The main reason why I took the review down to a 4 is because it was somewhat hard to find the server after our food was delivered. Glasses of water weren't refilled.

Wonderful food! We got two carne asada, 3 pupusas and a temal de gallina. The pupusa with frijoles, queso & chicharron was by far the favorite while pupusa with only bean was a bit dry and bland. The steaks were perfect! We would have preferred fresh lime with it- the ones we had were old and dry and had no juice but that was only a very minor thing. We've tried many local Latin places and still overall I think this is one of the best out of the ones closeby to Reston. I can't wait to try more of their menu.

Good food. Rude staff. I'm half Chinese and half Indian but often get mistaken for Hispanic. I walked in and the lady greeted me in Spanish and clearly did not speak English. I continued speaking with her in Spanish (I learned it in school) but did not understand certain words. The lady got annoyed and became rude when I asked what a certain word meant. I understand not speaking English and I even attempted to speak Spanish with her but there's literally no reason to be rude especially when someone is still learning the language.

This restaurant is in the same complex as my favorite ramen spot so I decided to give them a try and order dinner via Door Dash. The menu is definitely pretty extensive and I wasn't sure what to order (nor did I have a taste for anything particular) but I landed on the "mixed grill" and a pastel. The mixed grill included grilled chicken breast, grilled steak, grilled sausage, grilled shrimp, rice, beans and salad with avocado .... and I will just say that the portion was much larger than I expected and everything was ABSOLUTELY YUMMY and my favorite items in the mixed grill were the shrimp and the beans! I also ordered a pastel which was stuffed with a delicious chicken and potato filling in a deep fried corn tortilla like shell ... I could've eaten twenty of those things and plan on popping in to grab a few the next time I'm in the vicinity of the actual restaurant. All in all this restaurant is a delicious option when you're craving Latin food!

Walked in for a laid back dinner after finishing an escape room down the plaza - definitely glad we did! Lots of delicious looking options on the menu, and I opted for the carne asada plate, which had a generous portion of grilled steak, rice, and salad. Good flavor on the steak and rice, and I enjoyed the large cut cucumber, tomato, and avocado for the salad. The plate also came with some corn tortillas, which were great and good for leftovers. My gf got a couple of pupusas (they're huge!), which were flavorful with the cheese and accompanying broth and pickled vegetables.Definitely would come back here again for a nice bite of El Salvadorean food.

Been going to this place for years! Not sure how I missed writing a review. This is a perfect example for a hole-in-the-wall place, the staff is always working hard to provide some great meals. I was frequent when I used to work in Herndon, all my colleagues who I bought to this place enjoyed the meal. They initially had a smaller space, the one now occupied by Umai Ramen. The Tacos, Pollo Asado, Yuca Con Chicharron, Bistec Encebollado, Pescado Frito are my favourites, oh and dont forget to try a Jarritos or a Horchata with your foodWould love it visit whenever I am in the area!

Delicious, traditional, home cooked tasting meals. Service is always prompt, welcoming and sincere. I love the music and decor. I usually order take out, and wait in the dining room. Recommend pupusas de queso y frijol and the horchata.

Everything is fine price slightly high but not bad. Didn't purchased not even 30$ in food and was charged a automatic 15% tip. Was a party of 2 only. Todo está bien precio un poco elevado pero no está mal. No compré ni siquiera 30 $ en comida y me cobraron una propina automática del 15%. Eramos un grupo de sólo 2 personas.

The pupusas were fire, they're $3.75 each. However, I did feel the staff acted more like a loud gossiping friend group rather than a professional team. Also, if there was one thing I would add to the menu is the drink options. I give this place an 8.5 / 10 Loses one whole point for the cashier's bad attitude and the loud employees, loses half a point for not putting drinks on the menu Overall, really good food definitely will recommend this place
