I thought the name was kind of cheesy, then I read some reviews and decided to give it a try.Over the last 2 weeks, I've ordered some of the best Thai food I have ever had in the DMV.Their curry is spot on. Crispy, fresh veggies and the kind of heat you appreciate but doesn't kill your taste buds. It is delicious! And the mango, sticky rice! I could eat that every day. This place is for real! Hope people find it.

Maybe they have an outdoor area that looks tiki, but the inside definitely does not. Here in the winter so I don't know about the outside. Inside there is an entire wall that was just white, missed opportunity to get some cute decor in there. We had the drunken noodle and a special of spicy catfish, fried. Both were delicious. I saw another review that said they wish the portions were bigger. These portions were really big. I finished it, but I really stuffed myself, definitely glad we did not get appetizers. Our server was great and attentive. The food was delicious and piping hot, which I appreciate . Just removing one star for lack of ambience and lack of tiki.

solid thai food on H st. flavors I thought were tame for the most part - there was little heat even on the dishes listed as spicy, and I thought the food leaned on the sweet side vs. savory/umamipad thai texture is great and sauce coverage great. tastes like they use honey in it, it's sweet and would've liked more fish sauce and lime. panang was good - more runny and definitely needs rice but flavor is good. crab rangoons are some of the best I've had in dc - perfectly crispy and creamy. sweet chili sauce for this is very sweet and runny. the crying tiger is a good dish also - the steak is flavorful although ours was a touch over/dry, but the sauce with it is delicious (but not spicy).

Tiki Garden is an unassuming restaurant on H Street that serves up some tasty food. Went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. There was ample amount of parking on the lot across the street. The place is quite small and little dated looking compared to the newer and more trendier spots in this side of town. The waitress was very quick in getting our orders. I have no complaints on the food. The drunken noodles were spiced-Thai spicy and the curry puffs were delicious. I only wished their portions were slightly larger so I would have more leftovers for lunch the next day.

What a delicious meal! What fantastic service! What a cute little restaurant! I'm so glad that we stopped in before our show at the Atlas Performing Arts Center. My mom only likes the things she always has at Thai restaurants - pad Thai and red curry - but we managed to get her to try new things and she was not disappointed at all!We didn't know they had Happy Hour, but we were super happy to find that out! We each got a frose - rose slushies with vodka, strawberry, and fresh lime. Omg so good! Many of their appetizers are also on happy hour, discounted by a few dollars. We got the rocket shrimp and the curry puffs. The rocket shrimp is like shrimp in a crispy egg roll wrapper, and the shrimp were marinated and perfectly cooked. It was served with a sweet chili sauce that was out of this world! The curry puffs were that great combo of sweet and savory, with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. Already halfway to full, we shared an order of pad see ew. I'm quite sure this was the best version I've ever had - the sauce was light and garlicky and was perfect with the chicken, egg, broccoli, and noodles. So by this time we are stuffed, but there is no skipping dessert when mango and sticky rice is on the menu. The mango was totally ripe, the sticky rice was delicious, and the coconut cream and mung beans on top were so so so so so good. I could have had a bowl of coconut cream and been very happy. Overall, a truly fantastic restaurant experience!

We were craving Thai and this neighborhood gem came highly recommended. It did not disappoint and it also has a pretty great happy hour from 5-7pm. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean and cosy.We ordered Thai ice teas, HH rocket shrimp, HH gyoza, pad see ew and drunken noodle. All the food was well flavored and what we wanted. I will say that I expected the shrimp to be a tad different than just wrapped in wanton and fried but it was still good.

Went to H street and found a hidden gem in Tiki Garden Street Food. I can see why it has so many good reviews.Pros: the appetizers there were scrumptious. I tried the crab Rangoon which had such a creamy filling, was perfectly crispy, and had this dipping sauce that had a chili oil kind of kick to it. The honey wings were also a standout for me, crispy yet drenched in a sweet and tangy spot and the meat was so well cooked.Cons: I had the fried catfish and wish it was a bit crispier. After how good the appetizers were I expected a bit more flavor and a better breading there. However, the sauce it went had mangos and cashews and tamarind that worked well with the fish and rice. The restaurant was also a little too warm for my liking.

HOORAY FOR TIKI GARDEN! I live nearby and my family has been mourning the loss of a Thai restaurant on H Street for a while. Until the opening of Tiki Garden! We pick up dinner fairly often -- have also gotten delivery. They are quick, the food is hot and quite honestly some of our favorite Thai food ever, and I'm working my way around the entire menu. Current favorites, of many: curry puffs, the sausage, lemongrass chicken, pad thai. Ambiance inside is lovely. It's small but they've made the best of the space and it feels cozy and inviting. I'm looking forward to stopping in for lunch or dinner soon.

Came here for lunch with my family today and had a good experience! The place wasn't busy and we were seated quickly. Cute decor with limited seating. Service was good, they were very nice. We ordered the Satay Lemongrass, veggie spring rolls, and rocket shrimp as appetizers. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was great. For entrees, we had the drunken noodles, spicy basil fried rice, red curry, ka pao, and pad prik king. Everything came out fast and prompt and tasted delicious! Everything was on the spicy side but very flavorful. Can't wait to come back to try more dishes!

A friend and I stopped by for lunch on the weekend. The staff at tiki Thai were really attentive and nice! The interior is cutely tiki themed and it seemed like they had a nice bar area as well. I got the Thai tea and my friend got the Thai coffee. Both hit the spot since it was so hot outside! Drunken noodles w chicken: I love drunken noodles and I was so happy that the noodles had such a nice chew and were cooked perfectly. It had plenty of flavor and spice as well. Tom yum noodle soup: I will definitely get this for myself next time. The broth was so tangy and strong you could really just feel the flavors dance in your mouth. It also had a really nice spice level that I was surprised at.
