Great spot! I got two tacos, both of which were solid. However, I sampled some of the Chicken Chaufa my friend got and it was absolutely amazing! Definitely coming back!

Tigo's was our go-to Peruvian neighborhood restaurant but has fallen short in the past year. A year ago prices for chicken with four sides were going for $27.99 but as of today on ChowNow (and other pick-up apps), that is $36.50. Surprisingly in the store, the price is $31.99. We also ordered steak with fried rice. And the meat was incredibly chewy, which made us realize the quality was cheap and inedible. Price on ChowNow was $20.55, in-person store price is $18. Compared to a year ago, this was $16.The mark-up is steep. There has been no chicken or beef shortages. The only saving grace was the yucca fries. We also tipped the workers for picking up our own food. All in all, for a dinner for two, this was close to $70. When I showed the owner the price discrepancy, he shrugged and said "the ownership has recently changed" and they'll take a look at the online ordering prices. I feel Iike this restaurant has been dishonest about their pricing throughout this past year but I have given them chances to change their prices to reflect what they post in-person to be current online. I feel like this is incredibly deceptive. I would not recommend coming here as there are better quality chicken restaurants (to dine in and pick up) in the city.

This is my definition of a perfect bite--a little bit of everything.Lomo saltado is this carb lover's dream. It is a popular, traditional Peruvian dish (inspired by Chinese stir-fry). This stir fry typically combines marinated strips of thinly sliced beef steak with onions, tomatoes, french fries, and soy sauce and is served with rice.Rice and French fries - two of my favorite starches married together in a gravy-like substance. How do you get there to grab some? 1322 H St NE, Washington, DC 20002Parking can be a bit challenging, especially for someone like myself who refuses to parallel park. You can take the circular bus, walk from Union Station, or take the X2 bus.

The place of business was well put together and clean. The food came out hot and less than 10 minutes which I was told ten. +++ The only issue I would have is, I sat down and started to eat and noticed. I had nothing to eat with!! No utensils!! Just make sure your customers are well taken care of. More vegetables would of been great being I did not get meat. The price was a dollar difference. I would go back for sure.

Tigo's is a hidden treasure in the city. If you think you don't like Peruvian food it's because you haven't tried Tigo's yet. What you'll be most surprised about is that it is not only delicious but a very affordable place to eat. I am so fortunate to not only work close by but also my gym is right across the street so I visit quite often and this place never ever disappoints.

Veggie Saltado was very disappointing. Was same price almost as meat version. Food was fresh, but veggie options should come with plantains or something if same price as meat. Served standing hot on a plastic plate for a sit down order which was disappointing.

The mango juice was not good. Tasted watery. The chicken was ok but not all that to go back again.
