What a wonderful meal at a super cute place! I totally loved my experience at Tiger fork with my aunt while visiting DC.To be fair, I have yet to have had a bad meal in DC. There are so many great places and Tiger Fork was no exception! The vibes were very cool, very hip, but also casual and approachable at the same time.Arrived for our 5:30pm reservation and were immediately seated. They happily accommodated us when my aunt asked if we could have more space and push 2 tables together. Super great of themOur waitress Angie, was great! She answered all of our burning questions and gave us a few recommendations. She even successfully surprised me when I asked for her to pick out my first cocktail (I'm daring like that) which was the HK rose. A hibiscus twist on a margarita. Totally fruity, refreshing and exactly what I was looking for.The food was INCREDIBLE! We got the Green Beans, calamari, pork belly, and wontons. Everything was so great but my two standouts were the pork belly plate and the green beans.Honey........ok so those green beans. I am ready to give up my life savings for those things. Served in a peanut butter sauce, perfectly cooked. Super duper good! I even caught myself eating what was left of them at 2am in my hotel. The pork belly was perfectly crispy and served with lettuce cups and a ginger scallion sauce. So simple yet so freaking delicious.Oh so great meal at Tiger Fork! It was so nice hanging out with my aunt in a lovely setting with great service and awesome food. If I'm ever back in DC, I'll be right here enjoying myself again.

Very cute restaurant! We loved how cute it was inside and the decorations. The service was really good as well, they were attentive and answered all our questions. The food was okay. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, I don't think this is it. The food was not as seasoned as we thought it would be. However, the green beans were our favorite! Overall good and a perfect place for a cute date night.

Most of the food was SO delicious but the crispy pork belly was inedible due to the fact that it was almost completely fat with no meat. The waiter (lovely person) brought it back without us asking, took it off the bill, and gave us a free dessert. Truly an excellent customer service experience to make up for an imperfect entree. Besides that, great meal. Space was awesome.

The beef chow fun was very flavorful and the beef was cooked well. It was definitely the highlight of my meal. I wanted to like the pork ribs but the taste/texture of the meat just wasn't for me.

I love introducing people to this spot. It's so so good. My favorite thing on the menu has to be the char sui plate. It's so delicious. There's so much good stuff in Blagden Alley and I feel like this is the creme de la crème. The inside is warmly lit but reminds me of something you might see in an old kung fu movie? The dishes are meant to be shared so it a good lace that is better with a groups so you can get multiple things to try. They also have well balanced cocktails with very unique ingredients and a motions attached. It's best to make a reservation. Everyone is very nice, but when they get busy it can all be a bit hectic. Thankfully there are cute places nearby so put your name on the waitlist and come back. It's so worth it

Jacob or Jake, I think his name was at the front desk was soooo kind! So refreshing to have genuinely nice good energy ppl. I called in advance to revise the quantity of people attending and he literally set the tone - dope. Anywho, we tried a lot of dishes and the highlight for me was the smashed cucumber salad. The cheapest thing on the menu actually lol very flavorful and great texture. Highly recommend. Branzino fish was different. Fish is usually handled delicately and this was fried and drenched in sweet sauces. Good! But something to note. I really enjoyed the chili wontons. A good edition to your order. Multifaceted in texture and flavor.

For me, this is the definition of an "okay" restaurant -- didn't love it, didn't hate it. Pros:- cute interior and nice ambiance for a date - service was pleasant enough Cons:- extremely small dinner menu w/o much variety - limited cocktail menu-- asked for an espresso martini and was told that there was no espresso. (I thought espresso martinis were standard cocktails these days.)- inconsistent portion sizes-- the calamari appetizer was huge, but the amount of noodles in the chow fun entree was lacking. There seemed to be more meat than noodle which was surprising

I honestly can't stop raving about this dining experience. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed with a warm smile into a space that feels chic yet comfortable, and the experience only gets better from there. These Michelin stars are earned because their food is absolutely exquisite many dishes. Many dishes have a good heat on them so be prepared for that. Favorites of mine were certainly the cucumbers, the string beans, ribs (tasty and sticky) and basically any noodle dish. If you're like me, go back two nights in a row so you can try multiple things on the menu.If you have trouble finding it use these photos and you'll get there no time Thank you, Tiger Fork for having me twice

The space is cool and unique. We loved the openness and the decor! The food was good but nothing extraordinary. It felt like Chinese takeout on a fancy plate with a higher price point. The service was not great, it feel like the server did not like having to answer our questions, barely stopped by and I don't think he smiled once. Maybe with better service it would have been a nicer experience but would probably skip for another of the great options around.

Love the Michelin restaurant Tiger Fork! Even if it is an obscure location in Blagden Alley. Hint: it's next door to the La Colombe coffee shop and has a big black hexagonal window. We came early on a Thursday evening and though we were the first diners, Tiger fork was filling up by the time we left. Tiger Fork is family style with dishes intended to be shareable. Portions are generous and prices reasonable. The best dish of the evening was dessert, the Monkey King Bread. Outstanding! This milk bread had a most amazing texture and it comes with a wonderful caramel sauce, nuts and slices of fresh banana. This is what life is all about!Next best, but still absolutely amazing was the Jah Leung. These are stuffed circular rice noodles. Delicious! The stuffing has a delightful crunchy texture. The green beans were great, accompanied by a peanut butter sauce, scallions and fried shallots. We really liked the Crispy Pork Belly plate. The crispy but moist pork was masterfully seasoned with just a tad of five spice. You eat the pork belly nestled in a lettuce leaf with a dab of ginger scallion sauce. The portion of Salt and Pepper Calamari was huge! The calamari was seasoned just right and came with bits of aioli and garnished with finely sliced scallion.JP had a can of Double Dagger pilsner beer. It has a pleasant flavor and a nice astringent bite. Music selection was great and played at a pleasing level. The only room for improvement would have been for the young and respectful server to ask if we wanted refills. But in short, our experience was great. We look forward to bringing friends and family here to enjoy this amazing cuisine.
