A friend and I had a delicous Christmas Eve feast here--there was so much food! A little expensive, but it was so good. We've both lived in Korea and enjoy being able to enjoy the delicious food. Had the mixed pancake appetizer which included some pancakes I've never had before and, of course, some great BBQ cooked at the table by our server with just enough attention. It's a beautiful clean-looking restaurant with some wood touches that our server said the owner made himself.

3.5, had high expectations since we loved Ingle, but this fell a little short for us. We didn't feel as taken care of and pampered like we did at Ingle. It wasn't consistent with all staff, because some were actually attentive. We did enjoy the complimentary banchan and barley tea a lot. They made sure to refill when we were low. Some unique banchan were the marinated lotus, marinated quail egg, spinach, and spicy fermented squid. It took a while to get our check and their attention for it even though it was slow. They had like 6 different salts and 3 sauces out, but never explained what they were so had to ask about them. They were from different countries so that was cool. We got marinated beef short rib (Yang Nyum Galbi), Pork Jowl (Hang Jung Sal), and Grilled Yellow Croaker (Jogi Gui). All were pretty solid and nice quality, but nothing too special. Half way through our meal, they asked if we wanted lettuce which was nice, but wish they asked earlier.

All I can say is wow! The service was absolutely amazing with delicious food! The interior is gorgeous and each plating of the dishes is so well done and beautiful. We had the pork belly and the galbi. The galbi was pretty good especially paired with all of the different kinds of salt they give you. The pork belly was so good and our server did a great job of grilling it making sure it was extra crispy on the outside. The jeon were also great! The banchans were all so good and delicious. We also got the yukhoe because I love it so much. I will say it came slightly frozen so it's not completely fresh but still good! If you have room left over for dessert, I would definitely go for the cheesecake. It's so thick and perfectly sweet. It also comes with a super cute bear candle that we ended up taking home. I will definitely come again and recommend it to anyone!

TL;DR: good quality meats; very very high price point; okay experienceReservations: must be made through phone (as of now). Definitely recommend making one. SPACE: ~Concept-wise, I can see what they were going for, but not sure if the execution was there~Interior design and decor is very cute.~Service and hosts were very nice but seemed frantic (running around, not as attentive). Could be soft/grand opening jitters, but took away from the "upscale" vibe they were aiming for. ~Only 6 tables (larger in size) have the KBBQ grills at the tables. Other smaller tables can order KBBQ, but it will be cooked on a grill in the corner and brought to your table. FOOD: ~Banchan: Good assortment of things. Flavor was hit or meh. The only thing that really stuck out to me were the marinated quail eggs and ojingeo-jeot, which I don't typically see at other KBBQ spots~Green onion salad (3.5/5): standard and basic flavors. The green onions were a tad wilted, but that is fine for me. ~Yukhoe (3.75/5): Loved the temperature of the yukhoe. So cold (in a good way)! The flavor was decent, but I felt like it was missing a good finish. The sugar in the marinade also did not dissolve all the way, as I could feel the grains while eating. Portion was good. ~Marinated galbi (3.5/5): The quality of the meat was really good. Very soft. The marinade was lacking though. ~Spicy galbi jjim (3.8/5): The meat was very tender and fall off the bone. Portion was decent. The flavor was good, but nothing outstanding.~Moksal (Pork Collar Butt; 3/5): Quality of meat was good, but it was a little dry and became even more dry since the heating "tray" gets pretty hot. Had to have them blow out the flame. Overall, the food was mediocre and expensive for what you get. Not sure if I would come back with all the other KBBQ options in the area.

Beautiful new Korean bbq in the area with a nice cool vibe. 100% make a reservation. We ordered dumplings for our appetizer and the pork belly and non marinated kalbi for bbq and all were great. The banchan sides were all very good and we appreciated the variety. Service was awesome and ending the meal with a strawberry milkshake in a bear bottle was both delicious and cute! Can't wait to go again!

You gotta get the spicy galbi jjim, no question. It's enough for two people! I like eating the soup/sauce with the rice. If you sit at a grilling table (i.e. the booths that are on the left side when you come into the restaurant), you get a cute stone plate with different salts for dipping. The truffle salt is my favorite. You can still order Korean barbecue if you're not at the grilling table. It comes out on a stone plate over a flame so the meat stays warm. They do not have steamed egg and spicy soybean stew as sides like other Korean bbq places do. Prices seem a bit on the higher side but portions for the meat are a good size, and you're paying for the ambience and service, really. The ambience inside is beautiful and contemporary with vertical wooden slats and minimalistic table lamps. Service is attentive without being disruptive. I recommend calling ahead to get a reservation if you're going on a weekend for dinner.

Overall: 4 starsEnjoyed the food and good service. Plan on coming back to try other food items (will update my review after trying other food items). Main criticism was that we found 2-3 roaches crawling on the floor and benches while eating. Food Quality: 4.5 starsOrdered the Assorted Korean Pancake, Bibim Naengmyun, and Seolleong Tang. Really enjoyed the Bibim Naengmyun. One of the better ones in the area. Only wish there was more, as we can only order a small size (bit pricey for a small/quantity). The Assorted Korean Pancakes were good and worth ordering to add more side dishes to the main dish and to share with the group. Main criticism is that the pancakes were pretty oily. Look forward to trying the BBQ options (although they did seem a bit pricey - expect the quality to be good). The side dishes were flavorful (and refilled for free). Service/Experience: 4 starsThe staff was very friendly and welcoming. They did get our order mixed up (which can happen). It was a nice touch to have the moist wipes to wipe/wash our hands and to have the table arranged prior to seating. Plenty of parking out front (attached to a shopping complex - isolated part of the shopping complex, next to Lowe's). Main red-flag was finding 2-3 roaches/bugs crawling in the restaurant (on the floor and bench).

The first thing that stood out was the beautiful interior - it's clear they put a lot of thought into the ambiance and details, from the plates to the silverware. The banchan was delicious and perfectly seasoned. I ordered shrimp jeon as an appetizer, and it was excellent - they didn't skimp on the shrimp and kept it lightly battered! They also served seol leong tang in a small tea cup as an appetizer, which was a thoughtful touch.I ordered galbi and galbi tang, and both were absolutely delicious - tender and flavorful. The service was great as well. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I was really impressed and will definitely be back!

The Woo is a nice modern looking Korean restaurant. I called for reservations after 11:30 but they were already booked and was told to come in as a walkin. Arrived there around 530pm but couldn't get a table with a grill. Small part of the restaurant (about 5 tables) have grills for cooking korean bbq. For the rest, they cook it for you and bring it to you on a pan over open flame. I suggest not ordering Korean BBQ if you're seated at a table without a grill as the meat comes out like it was boiled which is a waste of $50 kalbi. My wife ordered the sundubu (tofu soup) but prefer it at Lighthouse. The seafood Pancake had bigger shrimp then normal but was not crispy and a bit fishy. On a plus note, they serve quail eggs as part of their banchan (korean sides) and will refill for you. Service was good too. Unfortunately, can't say we love the food so probably won't be back.
