Reverse side of The Wells speakeasy
What's right behind guests when they sit at the bar - I've seen many group(s) of guests lounging in this area
This is awesome - you got books like Liquid Intelligence to look through if you feel the need to read - good to have a group of 4

This is an awesome place to check out in DC - It's a Gin Speakeasy!!! Located in Eastern Market tucked in between the two sister restaurants, (The Duck & The Peach and La Collina) This place definitely earns all its credits and awards for their service and creativity with drinks. Alex Pisi is the mastermind behind the experience you receive during your stay and the science, story, and processes that were painstakingly crafted for you to enjoy were meticulously thought of by the team behind this amazing concept. This place warrants a visit after your dining experience @TheDuck&The Peach and/or La Collina. This is an amazing choice for date night as well. I am biased because I worked here for a year and they work hard behind the scenes to make the show flawless. Like me, you'll wish you never had to leave

As a gin lover, The Wells feels like it's made specifically for me. We were there for happy hour so we started with Martinis which were great. Then I asked for a bartenders choice and gave them info on what flavor profile I like and they made me something delicious. We didn't get any food but the table next to us did and it looked tasty.

Wow! Really cool spot. Definitely need a reservation, you ring a bell to have someone open the door and bring you in, pretty cool and special. Service was great! We had a little nook for our party of three. They brought a drink out for us to start. To be honest, I can't remember what I ordered. But it was realllyyy interesting. He said it would taste like a garden, and it did. Very herby. I loved it! Can't wait to go back!

It's not the most hidden when compared to some of the city's other speakeasies, but wow is it a stunning spot. From the epic chandelier and lighting to the presence of a delightful shade of green everywhere, the place was such a vibe. It was the middle of the week, so it was pretty quiet. The bar was about full, but the rest of the space was pretty open. On weekends, they say it's a good practice to make a reservation. I can see that. If you are a gin fan, this is definitely the place for you. And they have snacks! You absolutely have to try their lumpia if you don't mind pork. I happened to have their popcorn too and it was quite enjoyable. I can't help but be curious about how the vibe is when the spot is busy, but I definitely enjoyed how quiet it was then. I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone making their way through the plethora of DMV speakeasies.

Loved the style of this speakeasy-- felt like I was in Great Gatsby! We were welcomed with a small welcome cocktail which actually wasn't gin, but delicious!I tried the let the beet drop and my friend got the g and T and a the martini ! We were happy with our choices. We were told the drinks change based on season. We tried the tetelas and the pork lumpia, both were wonderful snacks! Then we went next door to La Collina for dinner!

Awesome cocktail bar on the back side of the duck and peach. They have a moody lounge, lots of seating and a small 6 or so seat bar. Menu consists of a variety of gins that they can make a cocktail with, or a set of gin-based cocktails (they have a full bar as well). The menu cocktails I tried were awesome - inventive and executed well. Also had a gin and tonic with a specific gin that was refreshing. Will be back

We only stumbled into this place because we had dinner at the neighboring The Duck & The Peach. The escorted us in here after our birthday dinner and it was so cool! A neat little speakeasy that has a lot of gin! We got a hightop table in the corner and really enjoyed the ambiance. They will help you find the right drink for you, describe each one in detail, and were very attentive. They gave us a splash of sparkling for free to start. Then we ordered drinks and just got to chill. I would definitely come back here to try some of their other options!

The ambience is very warm and welcoming. The food options are small but also tasty. Try the Tetelas and the corn nuts. Also come through for the Martini happy hour.

Cool speakeasy in Capitol Hill, gin only. Server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and recommended a gin old fashioned. Also served a apple brandy mixed drink on the house which was very refreshing. 22% tip included.
