Bopped in yesterday with a friend to grab coffee and catch up. Loved the spot, delicious coffee. Like its community-oriented focus as well

I tried their Matcha and it was OK. It tasted a bit grass-like, and I'm saying this is as someone who actually likes matcha. The service was okay-ish as well. I was waiting for someone, and they came by to ask if I had ordered. I completely understand that there may be people who just sit in a café without ordering, but I think giving people some grace is a kind thing to do.

The Village DC is such a great experience! I've been there twice, and each time, the vibe has been amazing. The music is always on point, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax or catch up with friends. Their lattes are incredible--I've tried both the Red Velvet and Cinnamon Roll lattes, and they were delicious! The space is clean, well-designed, and has a welcoming feel. Plus, I love supporting Black-owned businesses, and The Village DC is definitely one worth visiting. Located in Union Market, it's a must-visit spot for great coffee and even better vibes!

We spontaneously stopped in after an art exhibition nearby and felt energized by the soothing and vibey atmosphere and our drinks (London Fall & Autumn Fizz). The staff put care into making drinks for us and the drinks themselves tasted cozy and refreshing.

The blueberry muffin was 2/5 not sweet and basic. The salmon salad sandwich is 10/10 taste good bread toasted perfectly. The service was great they were quick and friendly. The place is cute.

Black owned business in union market with a nice ambiance, great service, and tasty items to choose from. The veggie breakfast sandwich is fire. I add chipotle aioli for a little razzle dazzle.

I've walked past this place a few times but it's usually closed whenever I have time to try it, but today the stars aligned!! The cafe is cute with a few small tables opening into other businesses and working spaces.I ordered a dirty chai and seed toast. The dirty chai was a bit sweet for my liking but overall pretty tasty. The seed toast was amazing, it's basically avocado toast, with tomatoes and seasoning. I felt like they ran to the farmers market and got some fresh ingredients that day it was so yummy!! The kale and pickled onions on top were perfection. There was one barista and wait time was appropriate. She was super nice and helpful. They have a variety of drinks so everyone should be able to find something to their liking. Also did I mention that this spot is black owned and conveniently located?! All in all check it out and thank me later.

I had a breakfast sandwich and it was amazing! 10/10. It was warm and crispy, delicious! I always get an iced latte and they never miss! The service is also top tier, personable, and intentional. I'm new to the area and I'm so happy to have found a perfect spot to eat, grab a coffee, read/do work. The ambiance is very chill, they also play really dope music. It's my go to spot!

Veggie egg and cheese breakfast sandwich is delicious. Good coffee and matcha. Friendly staff.

Visited DC for 2 days and I came here both days for breakfast. I had both the hazelnut and caramel latte; both were good but I preferred the hazelnut latte, recommend! I also had both the BLT and village breakfast sandwich; I preferred the BLT. Also, the music and the vibe was so on point; if you like alt r&b and similar kinda music you'll like the music. Recommend, and next time in DC I will be going back.
