Food was incredible. Get the Lobster Rol is 100% worth it. The lobster was fantastic too. The banana dessert is 10/10.With the help of the most friendly staff,my friends were able to surprise me for a pre bachelorette dinner.Thank you to everyone who helped out. We had the most amazing time catching up and enjoying the yummy food

A friend and I grabbed a table on the large patio for dinner. It's first come, first serve, and there was a huge bar in the middle. We grabbed a table, but it took awhile for anyone to come and take our order, so we had to flag down a server. We ended up splitting the soft shell crab, and I ordered the shrimp roll with a side of fries for my main dish. Both items were decent. The soft shell crab was a bit too oily for my liking, not sure I would order it again. Also, the service could have been better. All in all, Salt Line is a fine option if you're looking for a restaurant with lots of outdoor seating and seafood options.

Since moving to the area a little over a year ago, we've been here at least 20 times.So far the best burger I've gotten in DC, and it's really not even close. In the summer sitting outside is a delight, and the Del's Shandy's sure are a treat. They are a little pricy however for a frozen drink, but sometimes that's needed with the DC heat

Met my cousin for Happy hour as it was a rainy day. But a good day for drinks and oysters. And that's what we had. Along with shrimp cocktail fries and bread. The service was amazing. The ambiance was cute. All the times I have been down that way by the Nats stadium I didn't pay attention to this place. The oysters were a good size as well as price for happy hour. The steak had a great smoky char and was seasoned really well. It was juicy and cooked exactly to my liking. The mashed potatoes were creamy and paired perfectly with the meat. Service was good, though they seemed a bit understaffed. The ambiance was stylish but still comfortable, a nice spot for a solid steak dinner.

Best seafood I have ever had, food was so fresh. We got oysters, seafood dip, and I got a lobster roll, it was all so good. I had the opportunity to go in the summer and it was beautiful we sat outside with gorgeous views! Our waiter was very sweet and was very invested on our trip to DC, she always made sure we were satisfied!

Came here for date night on a cool Sunday evening. Ambiance is great! Who doesn't love a water front restaurant in our Nations Capital. I've never ventured this area of Navy Yard in the daytime and I've missed out. It's impressive to see how D.C. has changed. I'm astonished every time I'm in Navy Yard.(For D.C. natives this definitely isn't what our old Mirage, Club 55, and the Wet used to look like.)We had actually come to check off a bookmark for the "beach" they just opened but it wasn't really the vibe we were looking for so we came to The Salt Line. The Salt Line has a few other sister restaurants that I've had bookmarked so it was great to be here impromptu. Let's get into it! Food:Baked Pimento Crab Dip - Winner! Met expectations! Spicy Fried Shrimp Roll - Winner! Loved this! Waterman's Platter - contained fried fish, oysters, shrimp, & scallops with fries, & coleslaw. He loved it and may I add, it was HUGE. He got the old fashion and I got the Orange Crush.Service: It was good. The nice waitress suggested a flavor of crush for me, when she got to our table she realized they brought me the wrong one; my big ole lips had already drank a bit of it but she took the drink instead of just leaving it at the table. I'm sure they just tossed it. I believe there is a rule not to waste food or alcohol. (Shrugs) One party foul but not anything to ruin dinner about. Overall nice spot, would return! Definitely recommend. Not expensive at all!

Loved Salt Line!! Will definitely be back. Service was great. The staff were super friendly and seated us fairly quickly. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. The fried dishes were not too greasy. The seafood was fresh and seasoned well. The bread with the seasoned butter was sooooo good! Ambiance was super laid back. Definitely a great place for large parties. The clam chowder was probably top 5 for me. You should definitely give them a try.

I've been to the salt line a few times and can say I've never had a bad experience. A few things I love:- Service is always top notch. Regardless of the size of my party (whether it's just me, me and a friend or a party of 10)- Oysters are so delicious! I always opt for the briniest of oysters, but I've never been disappointed. They're pricey-ish but so good! - outdoor seating area is always a vibe. I enjoy being outside so LOVE that they offer a variety of different seating options (sofas, high tops, bars) etc- they allow pets on the patio! My pup and I had a wonderful Saturday brunch here where the staff welcomed him, allowed me to order a pup friendly kids meal for him (hamburger no bun with apples on the side) and made sure his water bowl was topped off- the brunch menu was also tasty (drawing a blank on everything I've tried but can say confidently that everything was delicious. While the weather is still nice, I'll for sure be back to hang out, get a glass of Prosecco and enjoy some oysters while the weather still lets me do it!
