Located inside the Dupont Hotel, this restaurant is now one of my absolute favorites in D.C. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and, most importantly, the incredible food. Our evening began with a round of drinks. The cocktail menu featured a well-curated selection of creative and classic options, and the drinks we ordered were well-balanced and delicious--strong but not overpowering. We decided to try three different starters to get a well-rounded sense of the menu: Bread and Butter - Simple yet elevated. The bread was fresh, warm, and had the perfect crusty exterior with a soft, airy interior. The butter was rich and creamy. Crab - Fresh, tender, and lightly seasoned to allow the natural sweetness of the crab to shine. Octopus - The clear winner among our starters. The texture was perfect--tender with a slight char on the outside, giving it a smoky, delicious depth of flavor. It was paired with a well-balanced sauce and garnishes that complemented, rather than overpowered, the octopus. If you visit, I highly recommend ordering this dish! For our entrées, we each selected different proteins: Pork Chop - Hands down, one of the best pork chops I've ever had. It was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful with a beautifully seared exterior that locked in all the juices. The side of charred cabbage added a smoky, slightly sweet contrast, and there was something stuffed inside it--I couldn't quite figure out what it was, but it was delicious. The combination of flavors on the plate was unexpected and worked so well together. I'd return just for this dish alone. Seabass - My date opted for the seabass, and it was just as impressive. The seasoning and accompanying elements on the plate made for a well-balanced and refined dish. While I still stand by my love for the pork chop, I would absolutely recommend the seabass to any seafood lover. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, making sure we were well taken care of.

Open, airy, and chic restaurant within The DuPont Circle Hotel with a beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby. Having lived in Italy in the past, I recommend enjoying the Fusili Calabresi, a large-portioned, boldly flavored pesto-based dish. I had it with a side of salmon (an extra charge, which I wish was made clear). Two others at the table had the same dish with different proteins (i.e. shrimp) and enjoyed it, too. Other dishes loved by the table include the Cavatelli (a Lamb Bolognese). At most establishments, I order similar mocktails, however, The Spiced EspressNO-Tini (a richly flavored espresso martini mocktail), was a nice change of pace. The Hibiscus Mule was refreshing and a good "ole' reliable". For dessert, we shared the Budino (an olive oil cake), which, despite its name, was rich, not too sweet, and did not have an overbearing olive oil taste. Service was excellent, and the waiter frequently checked on us. In having fun catching up, our table mistakenly stayed past closing; however, we were not rushed to leave by staff. Overall- Great for catching up with friends/colleagues or impressing out-of-towners

This is a beautiful restaurant inside The Dupont Circle hotel, easily accessible through their main lobby or directly through the back main entrance of The Pembroke on19th St NW. When you step inside, you feel almost as if you've been transported back into the 1920s. The booths are comfortable and there is a lovely bar in the middle of the restaurant where you can dine easily if alone. The bartenders are friendly and helpful, and it's really nice to know they curate the specialty drinks entirely on their own for seasonal libations. If you're not a drinker, they also provide a solid amount of mocktails to choose from. The entire staff is extremely attentive and accommodating to anything needed during your meal, and knowledgable of the menu to provide recommendations. I've dined each service here - breakfast is truly amazing (try the crabcake eggs benedict and/or french toast with freshly squeezed orange juice), lunch is equally delicious (try the pumpkin soup and salmon on super salad with mocktail hibiscus fizz), and dinner is just *chef's kiss* (try the branzino and crispy potatoes). Also if you still have space at the end of your meal, ask for a vanilla cappucino with oat/almond milk - the coffee is really delicious. It gets busy quickly so be sure to make a reservation in advance. This is a truly five-star service restaurant with five-star dishes that won't disappoint!

My friends and I were working night shift, so we didn't get to probably celebrate New Year's, but we came here following our shift to ring in 2025 with brunch. The restaurant is located inside of one of the hotels, and the decor is absolutely stunning. We were seated by the windows, and the natural lighting and decor are so bright and beautiful. We decided to share the French toast, breakfast omelette, and fries family style among three of us, and this was a good amount of food without being stuffed. The omelette was soft and delicious, and the salad on the side was a nice addition. The fries were perfectly crispy and well seasoned. The French toast was definitely the star of the show, with a nice combination of walnuts, candied, orange peel, and Nutella. I love the contrast of the nuts with the soft French toast, and it definitely felt like a decadent dessert. We also split a bottle of Prosecco that was about $60 to celebrate the new year. Our waiter was excellent, and very attentive Towards filling our glasses and ensuring that our needs were attended to. I would definitely come back, I would love to try more of the menu!

I visited The Pembroke with a friend over the summer, and it was a delightful experience. Located right near DuPont, the restaurant has a sophisticated, classic decor with plenty of open space and beautiful natural lighting. The drinks were wonderfully crafted and the food was also delicious. Our waiter provided excellent service and had fantastic suggestions, which added to the experience. The only downside is the price--it felt a bit steep for the quality. The crab cake alone was close to $30. Overall, I'd come again but be more mindful with what I order.

This is a much overdue review for the Pembroke. The brunch dishes that my friend and I tried left nothing to be desired. Brunch can be a meal or time of day when restaurants just don't seem to care? That is not the case at the Pembroke. Everything we tried was delicious. The savory dishes were filling and delightfully rich. The dessert that we shared showed finesse and tasted heavenly. I'll share pics, too. Service was prompt and polite. We had to wait a little despite having a reservation, but maybe that's typical for a city restaurant on a busy Sunday? I won't hold that against them too much. Also, because of its location inside of a hotel, you'll be directed to the hotel's main desk when you call to speak to restaurant staff, like letting them know if you're running behind.

Had a fabulous meal tonight as part of the Sunday Supper special. Eric provided such fabulous service. Tim, was a tremendous host. Christian created some amazing food. Beyond our expectations. We will be back and are hoping they continue Sunday Supper or some variation of it. Great food (amazing, really), tremendous service in a gorgeous setting!

Arrived in DC and found a restaurant close by for breakfast. The Pembroke located at the DuPont circle hotel. Ordered a mimosa and the American breakfast (Two Eggs, Sautéed Greens, Breakfast Potatoes, Bacon, Sourdough Bread). Everything was delicious. Everyone that assisted me was pleasant and professional.

To keep this nice and concise, we really enjoyed our time here at The Pembroke. The service was one of the best service we received. It was fast but also attentive. When we arrived, we were seated right away (we did make a reservation) and our server came to introduce themselves and get us acquainted with the menu. The food came out decently fast and they came to check on us a couple times. Food was amazing. The flavors were very delightful and we enjoyed everything that we had. Bread was crispy and toasted to perfection, and every bite felt joyous. The ambience was also very pleasant. The restaurant had big windows which came with a cute view and a nice bar in the middle. I would definitely recommend coming if you are in the area!
