My friends and I pride ourselves on supporting black owned businesses in which there's seems to always be A great disappointment to why "we" are not good at business. The Gold Room DC has failed just as others. When we first arrived we requested Prosecco which they did not have. When given to other alternatives to the waiters (red wine) they didn't have that either. We opted for Moet Champagne along with 2 bottled waters. Which we were given plastic champagne flutes that clearly was reused. We drank directly from the bottles instead. Later another joined our group who actually went the bar to order a Jameson and Ginger Ale. While making the drink she noticed the bar tender attempting to use Sprite in her drink of Jameson. She politely said, I asked for ginger ale. The waiter stated, " we don't have ginger ale".As we continued, later we asked for 3 additional bottled waters. Guess what? They didn't have anymore bottled water... There's a Whole, foods, Walmart, and Giant on H Street. Did I mentioned someone pointed out the owners while sitting?The waitresses were the only positive asset. Genesis and Janet I believe there names to be. Hookah guy- not too friendly.This place has so much potential but could most certainly use an uplift with the level of commitment, cleanliness, layout and decor. Very janky, hole in the wall vibes. Hope this review brings some light as would still like for us African Americans succeed in all aspects of business especially in our DC landmark areas.

After missing our reservations at crab boss, We looked quickly for an alternative on hst and stumble across here after one of my friends raved about their wings! ProsHookah was great Had a nice gentleman at the bar making sure the birthday girl was goodFood was actually pretty good after a two hour wait Bathroom was clean Music was greatConsCustomer service from our hostess was very disappointing The gold k wings taste like cooper Management was mad when I sent back and rude Food took FOREVER "ALMOST two hours"Drinks was over priced and soooo weak We was charged for topshelf when it was clearly bottom shelf liquor And no good social distance After not being able to hang with my friends often this was soooo disappointing for a girls night out to celebrate my sister birthday! I always want to support black owned business but it always disappoints!!!

If you're looking for a place that's open late on H street that offers hookah, this is your spot. There's loud music with plenty of people dancing and the music is pretty good. I went on a weeknight and it was definitely a club atmosphere. The hookah was good and the bartender gave me quick, efficient service. I have a feeling this place gets pretty rowdy though, because police stood outside and I was heavily searched before entering.

I had a great time! Everyone was so friendly and the customer service was amazing My drink was perfect and I recommend this place to EVERYONE who is looking for a good time. The music was on point

I go here each and every Friday and some times Saturday night. The Hookah and bottle girls are very professional and the establishment is well put together for a chill night or if you're in the mood to turn up to the max! To me it's like an all purpose lounge lol. I've been there in work clothes to drink a couple of shots then grab something to eat and go home. I've also been here when I'm in the mood to party until 3am! If you do visit the club don't forget to go past their kitchen. The food is good and you can tell it's made with love!

The owner is a sweetheart. He turned a crazy night into such an enjoyable moment. Please get the crab dip it is bomb af!

I went here on Friday for a girls night out and the service was horrible. The drinks are completely over priced. I don't understand the reason of that. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our hookah to come. Our waitress only came to check on us once by herself and the other times we had to look for her. I got a side of cranberry juice to go with my drink and it was completely watered down I sent it back and the second one tasted old and caused me to throw up. My sister asked for limes with her tequila and when she tried to squeeze the limes there was no juice, the limes were dried out. Overall a nice set up but we won't be returning due to bad service, over priced drinks and unfresh products.

Went last night. The food was outstanding, the drinks were good, the music was live, and the service was great! Definitely would good back
