Cool place; chill vibes, great food; excellent service. Burger is great. Be sure to get the double patties for the full effect.Kale salad is good but a little over dressed and salty, in my opinion. Be mindful there's not a lot of parking spaces. You'll find free street parking if you just drive around a bit, but it does require a brief walk in a hilly neighborhood. Nom nom nom!

The food and wine are always the best! The atmosphere is like walking in to a mom and Pop shop with class in elegance. They always have an amazing wine selection with multiple price points. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable! Can't tell you how often my husband and I Love coming here. Definitely a stop worth making.

The BEST charcuterie boards are served here with a warm smile! I've tried so many different kinds of honeys and The Girl and The Vine beats competitors out of the water. Love the texture of the toasted bread, the dates, and the flavorful cheeses. You can order a flight of wine, but since I don't enjoy wine I ordered some apple juice and no one batted an eye. Definitely recommend ordering the chicken schnitzel sandwich, that thing is dangerously good

I finally got to visit for some wine and a charcuterie which I shared with one of my girlfriends. The manager was so nice! It's a cute restaurant/shop with 3 levels, and outdoor seating. Top level is the wine bar and restaurant serving sandwiches, salads, bowls, tea, coffee. Free parking behind the restaurant. There is a back entrance as well as a front entrance as wells.

Once upon a time, The Girl and the Vine had the most wonderful creation: a taleggio grilled cheese sandwich. A thick crust toasted sandwich with that most divinest of Italian white cheeses, slightly stinky but with the edge taken off by its creaminess. Paired with a glass of chilled rose on a summer afternoon, it was heaven!Sadly, the creation of the gods has been taken off the menu. Seeking an alternative, I have tried the italian, the chicken schnitzel and the seitan banh mi sandwiches, none of which was pleasurable. Sadly, I will not be returning. One compliment to give: the service is outstanding. Each time I have visited I have been helped by staff who could not be friendlier. I will miss you, Girl.

A fantastic neighborhood bar in Takoma Park that's also a market and wine shop. Amazing service, lovely spritz's and delicious food. My faves are the drive thru burger, large pretzel and their wine flights ($16). They are open for dinner/late night service but also a great spot for lunch. The staff is so knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. When I don't feel like driving into the city, this is my first go to! Run don't walk to The Girl and The Vine (full review on my IG: bswank_ and TikTok: bswankk)

Use to be one of my favorite places. I love the thoughtful front outside or indoor upstairs seating and the lovely selections of wine. However, today was the first time I encountered rude service. I went upstairs to ask about decaf coffee. The guy behind the bar was so busy dry wiping wine glasses that he made zero eye contact before saying "we don't sell decaf coffee". I planned on ordering a glass of wine and picking up several bottles but the rudeness turned me completely off and we left. Not sure I'll be back.

I loved the vibe. It was a lot of seating. Service was great and so was the food. I got the cucumber tartine and I really enjoyed it. The aperol spritz was also good.

Scrumptious crispy Eggplant Parm Sandwich - worth the trek from McLean! The fried eggplant with a thick slice of creamy buffalo mozzarella cheese was stuffed inside a soft roll. My only minor complaint is that I wish the buffalo mozzarella cheese was warm and melted on the eggplant. Hubby enjoyed the decadent Parma Grilled Cheese with a fun culinary twist on the classic grilled cheese with prosciutto, mozzarella, and balsamic fig spread. All the ingredients with very rich and quite different than the classic grilled cheese that he anticipated, but he enjoyed the sandwich over the course of 2 sittings. The hand-cut fries were okay. The $5 Focaccia bread from Pluma Bakery was gigantic and fun to try, but very dense and thick. It kept well for 5 days in a plastic bag, but too big to conquer all of it!The restaurant has a nice chill vibe with a bar and large selection of wines upstairs with a small snack market in the basement. There's no patio seating. Our carry-out order was ready pretty fast within 20 minutes and by the time we reached there in 40 min, our food was lukewarm. Excited to come back!

Food was delicious. I had the egg plant pram without the hogie roll it was really good thin crispy pieces of egg plant over a salad and marinara sauce and more cheese to top it off. Omgeeee my taste buds couldn't have been happier. Service was quick and efficient. There weren't many people there so I would say come at a less busy time. Ambiance was good. No complaints
