My friends and I frequent Eastern Market frequently after church, and this spot is definitely our favorite go-to spot. The quality of food is high, and though it's more expensive than most spots, it's still delicious. Our favorite are the duck fries, cinnamon rolls, and the pancakes. The Duck & The Peach are great at giving a unique flavor profile to each item. One note - it is packed over the weekend, so definitely suggest placing reservations. The ambiance is a 10/10 as it's wonderfully decorated and the perfect DC brunch spot! Definitely a recommend!

Really much closer to a 4.5 experience but no halvsies on Yelp.A love the overall design of the place, modern and industrial, great color combos with woods/green/whites.Service was excellent, never felt that I was wanting for anything and got great recommendations and served some excellent wine and cocktails. Including a delicious, bright a flavorful vodka and thyme drink. We got about half the menu items and were not disappointed. The carrots with labneh were a standout, the duck was solid, roasted squash was divine. For dessert we had a beautiful almond cake with poached pear. We'll assuredly be back!

Brunch here was Solid! Stoks was an awesome Bartender and Jasmine is extremely attentive during the rush. The limited pastries Saturday/Sunday are what we come in for!!! I've yet to visit The Wells or La Collina but I fully intend to experience it all at some point with family and friends. The place is extremely welcoming and has family vibes all over it. 10/10 would recommend! Also don't forget the Ice Cream Pints they make from scratch - Chef Rochelle makes some wild flavors!!!

I mean obviously we're fans- go back and read our COVID era reviews lol. First time the boyfriend and I sat at the bar for some elevated "bar" fare. He had the burger and I had the salad which I always love and we shared the fois gras... I have to say the desert was SPECTACULAR- one of the best I've had this year thus far. A pavlova to die for! I miss the candles they used to have on the bar, there's a sterile feeling without it. ESP given it was valentines weekend it would have been nice ! Service was lovely per usual !

My experience was great. Of course I ordered what they're known for. The rotisserie duck. It was excellent. I recommend eating the duck with the side that underneath. That's the best way to capture all the flavors. I'll definitely be back for that duck!! . The second star of the show was surprisingly the carrots. They were really good. The butter lettuce was fresh and seasoned. I loved that. The squash was good but the carrots were better. The cake was just ok. My waitress was awesome. She knew the menu in and out. I was seated without a reservation when the restaurant was packed. The inside is light and airy. I'll be back. I really enjoyed myself.

This place earned its #12 ranking in DC's Top 100 during their SECOND year being opened. They're now on their third and still innovating and pushing the boundaries of what makes this industry so great - Hospitality. To my understanding, the theme/cuisine of this place is heavily inspired by America's West Coast style and the name of the restaurant is actually a play on the nickname(s) of the Owner's Daughter and their Dog - the Insignia is ALSO an image of a Duck and a Peach! It's a Woman Led restaurant that really emphasizes "Whole Food" they source from only the best vendors with the highest standards, ( they do visit them whenever possible check their Instagram to see @duckandpeach_dc ) support Woman owned/led businesses and their entire Wine collection follows that theme! (Ask the server for more information)Their Bar program is exceptionally brilliant and they work together alongside their sister concept @thewells_dc to curate Cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic that capture the **essence** of whatever they're trying to create for the guest(s).They do have multiple restaurant buy-outs multiple times(s) a month, so keep them in mind when you want to host either a luncheon for a company event or even a Wedding - I've seen it happen. Hollis, Chef Kat, Chef Rochelle, Chef Dan, and Melissa, Alex Pisi, (and the entirety of Eastern Point Collective) work towards, and go the extra mile to deliver the best experience possible. I hope to see them in DC's Top 10!(Also, they do include a 20% Service Charge at the end of the bill, you do not need to but may leave a tip on top of it - to my knowledge Servers aren't paid the common $2-4/hour like in most places they're afforded a generous $18/hour and commission on all their sales. So if the restaurant makes money they get a cut too. The 20% service charge is meant to create a standard for what they do to support their staff and if you tip it's going into a pool that support everyone including the Dishwashers that do amazing work and aren't always recognized because we can't see behind the scenes. I'm sure they can elaborate on this better)

This place might have won a James Beard award but it is all just hyped. Never will I ever believe James Beard on their choices. They have been very lack luster recently.I really enjoyed how we easily got seating at the bar. Our bartender was so funny and great to chat with. We started with a cocktail which was pretty good. Then we got the dates and beef tartare. The beef tartare was ok, i have never been a big fan of raw beef. The chips that went with the beef tartare were pretty good. The date was really good (it had this amazing cheese in the middle). I really liked how hot the date was as well. The tomato risotto was also very delicious. The main entree was a chicken since we didn't really like duck. I did hear their duck was pretty amazing. The chicken was well cooked. I really liked the potatoes. Usually, I hate potatoes but it was perfectly cooked. The aji verde sauce on this dish was amazing! The dessert was not good at all. I would never recommend anyone try the corn ice cream. Get anything but that ice cream!

Incredible service, with friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely ambiance. But the food was absolutely out of this world! We had the duck special for 2 and had enough leftovers for another great dinner the next night. Looking forward to returning for another special & memorable dinner.

Been 2x recently and a good time had. Popped in one eve after a long workday, having gone all day w/out eating. The ambience is perfect, the heat from the oven just added to the coziness. It was such a mood w/ the dim lighting but also casual. I had a baseball cap and sneakers on. Dined on housemade chips and although an appetizer, the serving is huge. Also had the caviar and roasted butternut squash. Each was delicious. Dined more recently for brunch, the cinnamon roll is amazing, the orange zest totally brings out the deliciousness. I also had the duck fat fries, divine. And both visits, Stokely was tending the bar and served up what has become a fave gin cocktail. She's a gem, super attentive as is all of the staff. Definitely a great, chill spot. I always meet awesome neighbors at the bar!

This spot is located right across the street from Eastern Market and is a nice spot to stop for a sit down meal when shopping the market. The open space concept is really beautiful, clean, and modern. I would recommend a reservation, as we stopped in on a Saturday mid-day and we were turned away indicating we needed a reservation (even though many tables seemed to be open), but we did find a spot at the seat-yourself bar so we sat there instead! Bar service was similar to hostess - indifferent about us, seemed more interested in talking to her coworkers than taking our orders or checking in on us. We ordered the duck fat potatoes which were the star of the meal. Cooked to crisp perfection, they were the perfect salty crunchy bite. The chicken salad sandwich was unique. I liked the grated tomato, but the bread fell flat for me and there were a lot of bones in my chicken, which made it a little tricky to eat. The chorizo Benedict was really tasty and enjoyable!Overall, it's pretty expensive for very average food in my opinion. The meal was good, but nothing to write home about. There's also a 22% tip included - I'm seeing this at a lot of DC restaurants now. I am happy to oblige, but now I see why service at the duck and the peach is no good, they don't have to earn it :(
