A dive bar with benches and tables outside. No food, but you may find a taco truck outside. Some are fine, most are really bad. Bartenders are grumpy-aloof (not even a "hello"), you have to order inside, and they will add a 20% tip automatically for handing you a glass. Prices that are nowhere to be found (no QR on tables or at the bar, only a beer list). The quality of everything is going down, and the Dew Drop Inn is not missing that trend.

Finally made it to here too! We walked from MetroBar along the trail, which was about a 5 minute walk. Super easy & fast, closer to the Rhode Island MetroGot here on a Sunday Afternoon, maybe 6pm so it wasn't super crowded. Food trucks outside, and we ordered drinks inside. the inside was pretty spacious tooWe sat outside at picnic tablesGood Dj!

I haven't been back to Dew Drop Inn in ages!! A friend of mine was leaving town and decided to have his farewell party here, and it was a great excuse to return! It looks just as I remember, being right at the turn of the street and having limited parking. It was my first time going on a weekend... and now I see what the bar is like when it's more crowded! Someone was at the door checking IDs, and provided two tickets for 1/2 off items. I was early, so I got settled at the bar and ordered some veggie chili. It came 10-15 minutes later, and it was DELICIOUS! It was flavorful on its own, and the little cornbread it came with was addictive. I'm just upset there wasn't more of it! It wasn't long before the rest of the crew came, and the place really got crowded! Thankfully there was an outdoor patio to escape to, but it was raining off and on, and there was no cover! There was a DJ spinning tunes all night... in my opinion though, he was all over the place! There was more genre hopping than there are colors in a jar of jelly beans XD!! So the music wasn't my favorite, but otherwise it was a good time. I do think I prefer the quieter days, but I'm glad to see Dew Drop Inn is still going strong!

Great dive spot, exactly what you expect it to be. Worth dropping in if you are in the area.

So this was my first time ever EVER EVER EVER hearing about the Dew Drop Inn and I am still to this day puzzled, confused and thinking to myself "Sis must not be living" like I thought I have. If I thought I was out in these streets last summer BABBEEEE I was sadly mistaken as this is a gem. Now, I enjoyed the first and the last DJ as there were a total of three for The Funset, however the second DJ just didn't speak to my spirit, he kept mixing songs that were bangers but then never allowed the hook or popular parts to play. I hate DJ's that just tease the crowd. The ambience is a ten from the foodtrucks outside, to the cookout feel. You are literally at your favorite uncle and aunties house with the picnic tables outside with a DJ and the two floors offering both a bar and speakers blasting the DJ's set. The rooftop was even an amazing vibe, with picnic tables and doors open leading to the second floor bar and dance floor. I enjoyed how all doors were kept open so you could mingle and move freely throughout. Now for the drinks They were weak. Really weak, four drinks later and I know now that when I first arrive I will bring my own drinks as you an outside as people also had cigars. Bring your own drinks to pre-game before 9pm arrives and t he party has to move in doors. This will be my spot this summer I just wish it was not on Sundays , because UMMMM I work I was puzzled that these people acted like F-Monday we Outside. Really wish this event was on Saturday's as I can not afford to call out every Monday. But best believe I will be back!!!

A really cool, special dive bar. Lots of outdoor space and both inside and out is awesome. You can also take the opportunity to walk the paved trail to other local bars and breweries that are pretty cool themselves. There's typically food trucks outside, the prices are good, and the service is quick and friendly as well. Well worth a stop.

Dew Drop is one of my favorite dive bars in DC. It's wonderful, everyone who works there is rad, and I drag my friends there at any opportunity. Great outdoor seating by the train tracks and solid dive bar decor inside too. They've got a standard selection of local and national beers and a few other drinks. Vibes are great. Very queer friendly. Right off the MBT, so great for cyclists, too.

Cute little spot where you have plenty of outdoor space along with a deck and indoor space. The vibe is low key like an adult college party. The parking can be tricky.

I'll preface this poor review by stating that I probably had an unusually bad experience. I've bene to Dew Drop before, and usually it's super chill. However, on a recent Saturday evening the staff was mean, in a way I'd never encountered before. A friend and I went to the bar to order a grapefruit twister. We ordered them together so that the bartender could make them both at the same time. However, upon hearing my order the bartender snaps "does anyone else have a less complicated order?" Then he serves the guy behind me first (he ordered a beer and a shot). A few minutes later he turns back to me he actively grumbles and goes "what did you want again?" and eventually gives me my drink. It was super bizarre to be made to feel guilty for ordering a drink off the menu. I talked to some other people at the bar that evening, and pretty much everyone said the servers were grumpy as fuck.
