The Chili Jefe Food Truck

Ok so let me tell you! My friend told me about this truck! You have to follow them on IG to find out where they are going to be and let me just say!!! It's worth it! The cost is friendly and perfect for the portions they give you!!! The food is amazing!!! I got the fried fish and fries! Fish was fried to perfection!! I got the honey bbq wings for my daughters and they ate every piece of chicken off the bone!!! Now the banger was tf mf salmon bowl !!!!!! It comes with yellow rice and broccoli seasoned with perfect little onions. The taste was exquisite and I will most certainly be tf back!!! The ambiance of the truck is black and orange so I feel like you can't miss it !!! This is a must try black owned food truck!!!

Best food truck in the DC Metro Area hands down. They treat the customers well. The food is great. I have 0 complaints. The wait can be long depending on location and time but it's worth it. You get huge portions of food.

I rarely give places 5 stars but Chili Jefe ...YOU WON ME OVER.The smiles, greeting upon first walking up, and Luther playing in the background makes you feel right at home. & then of course there's the food. I didn't even get a picture of my wing and fish platter because I dug into so fast and was knee deep before I remembered "the phone eats first". This is top tier food truck cuisine. The potent soulful flavors are undeniable. Now let's get into the salmon bowl. The salmon's made to perfection. So tender. & that sauce (I don't know what it is) but I recommend they jar it and sell it I will definetly be on the look out for new platters. I am a forever fan and customer.

I'm always looking for a good food truck. It's been awhile, so I was excited to see this one parked and ready to serve.Me and my gal pals decided to check out The Chili Jefe while spending the day at Romano Vineyard & Winery [see separate review for details]. What I got:SOUR CREAM & ONION WINGS - There were so many good options, but this one stood out to me. Bangin'! So good. Crispy and saucy, just the way I like my wings.HONEY OLD BAY WINGS: I tried one of my friend's wings. Sooo good. Will absolutely, positively add that to my next order.SEASONED FRIES - Plentiful! All three of us could have shared them. I've already reviewed them, however, when I saw their post featuring a BISON cheesesteak...it was a no brainer for me. This is in my top 3 favorite places to eat in the DMV. A week never goes by without me checking them out on Instagram to see what they got and where they are I come to this food truck a few times a month as it is always worth the time and drive. My favorite meal is the shrimp box, with the fried shrimp and fries drenched in Jefe sauce. We also love the salmon bowls as that cream sauce over their divine yellow rice, and perfectly steamed broccoli is a must have. Their steak is some of the best that you will ever try as it is always perfectly cooked. All their food is flavorful and everything is made to order. It is always piping hot and fresh. I buy at minimum, two Jefe teas for myself each time. I wish they sold there jefe sauce and tea in stores. The food is a 10 out of 10. My only thing that I wish they would do is to open up a storefront near me and be open everyday of the week. There is a wait for the food as it is made to order. It is worth the wait though. Plenty of parking as they usually park in areas that offers a lot of parking. However, while you wait, they be jamming on their speakers. The food and vibe is always a 10.

Been pulling up to them for years now, best food truck around in my opinion. Foods always consistently good and great portions. Always made to order so it might be a little wait. My fav item is the turkey chilli with corn bread *chiefs kiss* I'll recommend the salmon or wings too, but trust me everythings good. Also check them out in taco tuesday ! Great giant tacos , there not those cheap $3 ones

Today was my first time and it's definitely worth the trip the food was amazing to say the least and great portions,I'll be going back to try more of what is available.please go and support our black owned businesses

BRUH! If you haven't found this truck yet, you are missing out on a DMV delight. I saw a picture of the fish & fries on IG, and I said "hell yeah, I'm checking that out!" I drove from Manassas to Capitol Heights to find out for myself. I must say that I wasn't disappointed. We had the lamb chop bowl with shrimp, fish & fries and wings with mambo sauce. It was so much food that my wife and I were eating it for two days. Keep up the great food and service! We will definitely be back.
