The Cheesecake Factory

I didn't remember there was a cheesecake factory downtown. This location is close to the White House. There is hit or miss paid street parking and nearby garages. Metro is nearby too. The restaurant wasn't busy on a Tuesday afternoon. We had pretzels and cheese and burgers. The Impossible burger doesn't have mushrooms. There is also a vegetarian burger. All the burgers come with regular or sweet potato fries. We had mostly attentive service. It was nice catching up with friends. We don't feel rushed to leave.

Still meh, but glad it is here. Got takeout from here this time and it took over 30 minutes to get an appetizer and slice of cheesecake. The staff charged me for a bag even though I said I did not need one and had my tote in my hand to show them.Good for tourists and if you need to stop in for brown bread, but wish they gave you more.

Ordered cheesecake via DoorDash. What was in the bag?Kids' corn dogs. Fail.Fail fail fail fail fail.

Ordered dinner for delivery because I mainly wanted dessert! Ordered the BBQ ranch chicken salad, the kids pepperoni flatbread (which seems like the same size as the appetizer), and the banana cream cheesecake. The food preparation time was super-fast and the delivery driver told me that he picked it up quickly despite the restaurant being very busy and noisy. I suppose that's pretty typical on a Sunday evening.

Dining here was a good experience overall. Our server was super customer service oriented. We reserved our dining time and the wait when we arrived was less than 7mins. The place was packed and we were seated next to the kitchen in a very nice booth. Immediately we were given the good fresh bread here. Parking can be a challenge so my husband had to park about 2 1/2 blocks away. We recommend using rideshare and being dropped off instead of trying to find parking. Everything we ordered was very good and well prepared. I love that this location seems to be consistent with their service and their food quality. If you are looking for somewhere where there are several options for many different types of diners, this is the place. Everything that they make is done well. The desert is phenomenal, and we all know this. I also like and appreciate that if you are not a fan of cheesecake, there are other options available which are just as delicious. We will surely return.

I always have late night cravings for sweet treats, I guess which is typical of most people. But it's never a mild craving that my pantry can satisfy. I came all the way downtown just to buy a slice of cake and it was so worth it. The carrot cake that's done here is a large slice with a perfect touch of cream cheese icing. This restaurant location is a little difficult to access for temporary parking to come and grab quick items. I think it's more suited for dining in but I just wanted cake. The front staff once you're inside is great.

The calamari was notably better than last time! The raspberry lemon drop was delicious! The shrimp scampi was tasty but that was not angel hair, definitely regular spaghetti. And of course, the cheesecake was amazing. Service was good - it's always a little slow, but not as slow as usual.

Sat at the bar. Ordered HH Merlot very nice. And the chicken piccata. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Bar tenders were very nice. They were very busy but made sure I was well taken care of.

I am a blind person. Our server, Robin, was probably the most amazing server I have ever encountered. She was willing to read the entire menu to me if i wabted. I told her what i was thinking about and she made some recommendations. The food was also amazing. I would give this location and Robin a 100/5 star rating if I could.

as a person who loves the cheesecake factory was very disappointed with the food and the service. The food and drinks were overpriced even for DC.
