I simply stopped by the The Bean Bag for a latte recently. I will fight anyone that claims there is a better local vegan latte in the area. The Bean Bag has the coolest espresso machine, and the milk froth is always steamed to perfection. They usually have almond milk and this time my latte was made with oat milk. I wanted to make this review to specifically point out the employee that made me my latte. I came by around 8:40am and I was greeted by the kindest gentleman. I am a little too short to see him over the countertop, but the way he spoke I imagine he had a huge smile on his face. I had been quite stressed at work and wanted this latte as a special treat for myself. This employee's demeanor lifted my spirits and was a much more meaningful present to myself than the specialty coffee. I truly thank this employee for sharing his kindness with me that morning, and I hope he continues to make other customers as happy as myself. Overall, I have always been impressed with the customer service at The Bean Bag. This visit was by far the best one I had in a while, and I hope this employee is properly recognized by management.

We live not too far from here, but somehow this deli never hit our radar, until a Yelp search this morning. It's a good deli, with quick, friendly service and great sandwiches. Of course, this review is based on only one visit. It's on Gude Drive in a strip mall where I didn't see any signs identifying the businesses. If not for people sitting out front with sandwiches, I might have driven past. It's a smallish place, with only a few tables inside and a few outside. The sandwiches are huge, with two sizes available. I ordered a large Bethesdan, which is triple-decker roast beef, turkey and pastrami on rye, with lettuce, tomato and Russian dressing. And Hazzah to the gentleman who made my sandwich - often there is not enough Russian dressing on deli sandwiches like Reubens, but this was the right amount providing flavor and moistness, but not sloppy. The meats (advertised as Boar's Head) were good. The bread was fresh. The sandwich was huge and I was able to eat only half. Half went home for another meal. My partner got the New Yorker (smaller size). It also was huge. Corned beef, pastrami and coleslaw on rye with Russian dressing, lettuce and tomato. Again, half went home. The place doesn't offer pickles, potato salad or coleslaw as sides, but there's a selection of chips available. We also got a cup of vegetable lentil soup, which was hearty and had good flavor. As I said, the service was quick. There was a line of people ordering sandwiches, salads and soups, and the line moved quickly. We'll be back. There is a good variety of sandwiches available, and with the lentil soup being so good, I'm going to try some of their other soup selections.

Every single time that I try to order something online it says there is an error in the system. I would really like to try this place but if you can't order what use is the web site and menu. So I'm not able to tell you about the food here however they do need to clean up their ordering system. I wonder how much business they are losing to this error. Hope they get it fixed. Oh, this was not a one day thing. I've trdied on several different days at different times and can't order online.

Amazing deli food. Bmore style. New York deli. However you wanna slice and dice it. They got all the best sandwiches, my favorite being the "Bethesdan" that thing slaps!! Vibe is classic, people are super nice and friendly. A+ service for a quick and go or sit down with some coffee.

Just got back from this place. Met an old buddy for lunch and he *loves* eating here. It's kinda a hole in the wall but once inside you see how busy it is and how large their menu is. What you don't see is how polite and friendly the staff is and just how good the food is. I got a chicken salad sandwich, The Robyn's Choice". It was wonderful. With chips and a sweet tea on the side? Yeah. It's all freshly-made and delicious.I'm not in the area very often but when I am I now have a go-to place for lunch. Really happy about that.

Definitely a hidden gem. Co workers had raved about this place. So I took a chance. Looked at the menu and changed my mind so many times, I finally settled on roast beef with brie. Of course I made adjustments, no lettuce, and add a splash of lingonberry jam. Game changer. Though this place is expensive for what you get. No pickle or chips? Not even a cheap soda? Sandwich is good. But it's hefty price tag. It'll have to be once in a while treat.

I got another Big Bean New Yorker today. Very efficient operation. Friendly staff. Brought it home and weighed it. It was just over one pound excluding the wrap! Really delicious tender pastrami. Excellent sandwich. Still under $20 with tip. See my previous review for more info. I'm upping this to five stars.

April 2023First time I placed a carryout order for a lunch meeting for my boss. I sent an email the night before and called the following day to confirm receipt of my order. I spoke to Mitchell who said he didn't get the email so glad I called. I suggest calling if you send an email with the order or placing it by phone. My order included two customized salads, a beanie sub, and three oatmeal raisin cookies. My boss gave me her cookie and it was amazing, crunchy yet soft simultaneously. They are a generous size and can be shared. The order was ready when I arrived and napkins and utensils were provided. Seating is limited inside the deli, however, they do have seating outside under a tent.My colleague loves this deli and has used their catering service for meetings. Highly recommend based on my interaction with Mitchell and the customer service I received.
