This place is soooo dirty! How do they even pass inspection?! Also, I saw in the kitchen and it's literally Barilla pasta and canned tomato's! The bar is the only place that doesn't make you feel like you're eating in your grandmas damp cellar.The worst thing is that the lgbtq community has made this place their protesting grounds, calling the place racist and homophobic so there's a chance you'll have to walk through their protests to get in. I really don't get it because my server was gay and Hispanic sooooo how are they racist and homophobic? I asked and it's supposedly because they let conservatives perform live music, and that angers some people. All in all it's not worth the trouble. If you absolutely have to go, the wings and grilled calamari are always solid options. Also, you can order a single meatball with sauce as a side and it's huge. Happy hour is good.

Stellar service. Cannot say more nice things about how friendly and attentive everyone is. I wasn't as big of a fan when it came to the food, but would definitely come back in case I ordered the wrong dishes. We had the Veal Marsala and the Zuppa Di Pesce Pasta. The Veal Marsala was tougher to cut, but still tender when you ate it. The mushrooms and the side of tomato-based spaghetti were average. The Zuppa Di Pesce Pasta was savory and I loved the abundance of seafood, but it felt like something may have been missing to push it to the next level.

We went with friends to see a 70's cover band on 4/20/2024. It was very busy, friends did get a table in the bar section. My wife had the tortellini with alfredo sauce. It was delicious, pasta cooked perfectly and sauce was very tasty. I had spaghetti with marinara sauce and meatballs. Pasta cooked perfectly. Sauce was tasty. Meatballs were homemade! They were absolutely delicious! Our server came by regularly even though they were very busy. Great meal. My only negative comment is that I would have liked more sauce.

I called and ordered the Tortellini. It was ready when I got there and the bartender sold it to me quickly and with a smile. But the tortellini was gummy. Awful. The bread was tasteless almost like it had zero fat or something. The sauce was wonderful. I threw out the tortellini and took the sauce home to add to some boxed noodles I made.

Once again we had an Amazing experience at this Gem in plain sight! Our server Miquel was very attentive & Courteous. He made my Husband Birthday dinner that much better! We absolutely love the ambiance of the restaurant & the food is plentiful & delicious! We have been here at least 5 or more times & we haven never been disappointed! Best Italian food in Rockville MD!!!

I was there last night, 10/20/24, to celebrate my 50th Birthday. My family traveled from Boston and Florida to spend it with me and my family. The major issue, serious issue, was that our server, older hispanic gentlemen, was drunk. Seemed like he was the only adult running the show along with younger staff. Food was slow, did not come by our table but every 20 minutes. This guy forgot drinks we ordered.cThe Alcohol was definitely a factor in his lack of performance. Also, there were only 3 tables out of the whole restaurant that was occupied. Now, the food was good but the drunk server ruined the experience. To top it off, he gave us the check and knocked my wife's water over, spilled on her phone and on her. The server was so out of it that he just walked away, did not clean up the water, nothing. Please take this matter seriously because I am sure when the night was over, this server probably drove home intoxicated. Very unprofessional. Will not return.

That's Amori restaurant Meal was very good!For appetizers, we had caprese and bruschetta. Both were excellent. They make their own ciabatta which was outstanding w the olive oil. For dinner, we had pizza and fettuccine. The pizza could have used a bit more mozzarella. Fettuccine was very good. Service was very courteous and ambience was great - not too crowded since we went relatively early

Great catering for our Italian Thanksgiving meal. All the pasta dishes were good and meatballs and lasagna were especially hits. Salad was good and they three in lots of bread.

We could be grumpy travelers but this food was disappointing. The steak lasagna was dry and burned on the bottom. Even after mentioning its disappointment and the hardly eaten dish, I still paid $26. Staff was fantastic with their service, very attentive.The restaurant is dark and very outdated. Carpeted floors always are a gamble but theirs looked newer. Womens bathroom could use a make over, curtain to hide what is under the sink. I wish the staff well, nice mature staff with manners. Food just wasn't worth the cost in my mind.
