Thai Palace in Waldorf is truly a gem and easily one of the best dining spots in the area. Their signature cocktails are a must-try, with the lychee martini being my absolute favorite. If you've never had lychee, it's a delicate and light fruit, similar to a pear, but sweeter and more flavorful. The drink perfectly balances these unique flavors for a refreshing experience. The food is consistently outstanding, and the green curry with shrimp is a dish I could eat every day. The curry sauce is rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. I personally recommend upgrading to fried rice instead of white rice for an extra burst of flavor--it's worth the small upcharge.Don't miss their happy hour either! This cozy, tucked-away spot offers excellent service, with a friendly and attentive staff that makes you feel right at home. Whether it's for a casual night out or a special occasion, Thai Palace is a fantastic choice.

My previous review was about a year ago. I must say Thai Palace is still one of my favorite local eats. Whether I'm starving or just looking for a convenient, delicious dish I love coming here. This visit was very last minute. My mom called, I missed her call she was callling to see if I knew whether the restaurant was open. We just had a lot of snow and she wanted to be sure before coming this way from the national harbor. She had my grandmother with her who is 100% blind. We had a great lunch experience. The restaurant was not too busy, the music level and selection was perfect. We were able to enjoy our lunch and our time together. I do wish they had handicap assistance on the entrance door. The front door is very heavy and not easily maneuvered by those with impairments.

My favorite Thai spot in Waldorf. I really enjoy the chicken and shrimp fried rice. I didn't like the shrimp. They were fried too hard. The peach lemon drop was a different touch. All in all you can't go wrong with the fried rice #EatGoodAndBeHappy

I've lived in Waldorf for nearly 5 years and I still get anxious trying new places. I was at the barber shop waiting for my son to get a cut and I'd already tried my luck when Roy Rogers so I wasn't going back. I ordered shrimp fried rice as I felt that would be an easy thing to eat and a hard thing to ruin for most places. I placed the order over the phone and was able to pick it up within 15mins. Shrimp fried rice: 8/10 I was so hungry that I opened it immediately and shared it with my kids (2). The shrimp were huge and plentiful and the flavor was perfect. I added duck sauce and it sent it over the top. It had two large cuts of tomatoes in it which I didn't enjoy at that size but it gave the dish a nice bite and switch in texture. For $18 it came in a circular dish and I don't know if the rectangular one is technically bigger but I would've expected more for the money. It was so good I went back two days later because I was bummed I had to share it with my kids haha. The second time around I ordered pad Thai noodles and I sat inside while I waited. The place is just big enough for maybe 40 ppl if all the seating was available as well as a bar area. The woman who helped me was very nice, greeted me, took my order and brought me my food within 20mins. I'd give the noodles a 5/10. They were a little dry and the green onion was in large cuts throughout the dish which I didn't enjoy. I probably wouldn't go back for that dish but I'd be willing to try more. The stars are for the service and food quality overall.

Amazing place! Tried the Pad Se Ew Beef, Shrimp Fried Rice, Coconut Tom Kha, Beef Pad Pineapple and everything was amazing! The best Thai food I've tasted in the area, hands down! Also enjoyed some hot sake ( $14 for a large carafe). Prices in general were on the lower side, most dishes were $17. Ample parking outside, very clean establishment, low lighting, not very big, but also doesn't feel cramped. My server was good, it's easy to flag them down since the building isn't that large : if you need someone, and they also had another person going around asking if you needed anything, so I never felt like I was being ignored. Overall great experience, will be back!

We came to Thai Palace for do with some friends. We were immediately seated and place our appetizer and drink order. We had the vegetable spring rolls for our appetizer. The egg rolls were cooked to perfection and was served fresh! For our food we ordered the Thai beef and the red curry chicken. Both were made exceptionally well. We ordered the Tokyo Tea and my wife had a Long Island Tea. Both were made very well and strong. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Thai palace is the place for tasty Thai dishes. Stop by and give them a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.

So I'm say I normally have a great time here. It's actually one of my go to places but I've now had 3 bad experiences so yeah. I got food from here the other night, the portions of you get extra noodle are normally good. This time the noodles weren't mushy which they were last time but there was a piece of hard plastic glass type of material in my noodles so this will prob be my last time here unless I just go for drinks which are delicious.

I have seen and drove by this place so many times. I heard it was good and saw the reviews. So my sisters and I decided to come and fellowship and eat. And I am sooo glad we did. The place is small. But the ambiance is nice. The staff is friendly. Your food comes out pretty quick. The spice is level is not for the weak. So be careful. Level 1 is your best option unless you want your nose running and your throat to close. But if you have a tolerant for spice then you are good. The drinks were on point. They play some very good music. Make you tap your toes and want to bust out and do a move or two. I am definitely coming back!!! If you are in the neighborhood check out this place.

This restaurant is very clean in the inside. We were seated immediately as we walked in. The staff is very pleasant too. The young lady who took our order was very sweet to my children which is a plus due to my son not wanting one tea and was able to switch it for the other one he wanted. She also explained to me the difference between Chinese and Thai food. Thank you . The food was delicious definitely going back to try more food. This place is 20 minutes from my house.
