Texas Ribs and BBQ

I'm STILL full from our carry out order! I have passed by this restaurant for almost 6 years and this was my first time stopping. I assumed it was just another mass produced assembly line styled carry out. SUPER happy I finally did. Just check out my pics. HUGE portions and the ribs were PERFECT. Sheesh ... did you see the size of the sweet potato?!?! We were not a fan of the mac 'n cheese but not a deal breaker. Waited at the bar for my carryout order and had the strongest Cosmo for the best price EVER. Might consider asking for more cranberry juice next time but just trust me ... there WILL be a NEXT time. Nothing fancy and clearly a neighborhood establishment. It's giving The Alibi Room from Shameless. IYKYK.Cordial, but luke-warm, service. Not a complaint ... after all, I'm not a regular.Blink and you'll miss it, but when you do visit ... tell them you saw it on Yelp!

I always hear people talk about a good BBQ spot in Clinton. So I trekked over there for lunch last week and the bar was full, and the restaurant was busy as well, so I was hopeful. I ordered at the to go window and she was very nice. I ordered the chowder and the brisket . It said market price and ended up paying about $18. So when I got home I dug into it and it was cooked perfectly. But it lacked some flavor. And the soup was right up my alley. It had a great peppery taste and a smooth creamy ending. All in all I would have given it a 4 but the sandwich lacked flavors. I will try it again.

The food has so much potential but baybeeee, that lack of seasoning really hit different. If you order from here, you're gonna need at least some salt, garlic powder, and pepper to get your food right.Their prices here, however, are great and the portion sizes are generous. If you're looking for meat, they have it but you're on your own for flavor.

Decent TX BBQ....very good TX brisket and ribs. Good burgers....real good TX chili. Its not Austin, or San Antonio level....but pretty good....i didnt try pulled pork....need to be in SC or GA for that. Good service.

So this is my go to spot for the "BEST" brisket sandwich in Maryland(in my opinion)!!! The drinks are amazing the customer service is on point !!!

Texas Ribs has been the local GO-TO place for many years. It serves the 'regulars', military from JBAAF and any lucky person who happens to seek out a new place to eat. Texas Ribs also hosts many kinds of events, from catering to in restaruant receptions and ceremonies. The informal setting is comfortable and clean. I have yet to eat anythink that wasn't absolutely delicious. Some of my many favorite are the Reuben Sandwich, cod, BBQ, chicken and all salads. Texas Ribs staff is attentive, kind and respectful. The owner makes himself available if needed. He often helps with the busy lunch schedule.

My family found this restaurant six years ago when we were living on JBA and have loved it since! Multiple types of BBQ--ribs, brisket, chicken, pulled pork, grilled smoked sausage--and really delicious sides--the mac and cheese, hush puppies, and collard greens are family favorites of ours.The restaurant and bar are decorated with a fun western theme (we're originally from out west so we know what it should look like!) and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Good speed of service too. Highly recommend!

Well. Not sure what is Texas about this place. I can say it's a very neighborhood place. I walked in and went to the "bar area" entire place turned and gave me "ya ain't from around here are ya" look. There were a couple empty spots so I asked if someone was sitting here and with out even looking up was told ya. Ok. Asked about other spot. "Someone sitting there too" almost left because it's not a welcoming place but I was hungry. Got a table. Order the sampler with ribs and pork chop. Came out as ribs and chicken. Not a deal breaker looked good. Ribs not great. Way over done. Some what "crunchy" chicken ok. Not great. Other issue is it is ridiculously loud. The bar folks screaming at each other sitting next to each other. Not sure why you have to yell if you are sitting next to them but I guess it's a thing. Food came out fast. Service was good. When I left guess what two bar chairs were still empty. Yep. I wasn't a regular and wasn't welcome at the bar. O well I guess they didn't want diversity at the bar. Probably won't go back. Some other local places to try next time in town.

We love the food, especially the fried chicken! Very friendly staff reasonable prices! Ribs and brisket are cooked perfectly. The beer is nice and cold, and we always go home with leftovers, big helpings. We will be back soon!

We love Texas Ribs! The meats are outstanding and they're adding new items regularly. Try the baby back ribs. The smoked chicken is awesome, too. The brisket melts in your mouth!
