Top notch service and a huge selection of tough to find to even their own picks! Prices are competitive and very reasonable! A must visit for your adult beverage and even try your luck with the l o t t o!!! Clean and very easy to get in and out of with plentiful parking. Will definitely be back! Enjoy!

Just wanted to buy something to drink, but they haven't sold since I arrived by truck and parked next to the shop.

One of the upsides of my old living arrangements was that it was located literally 45 seconds from Tenley Mini Market by foot. You've got a few stragglers who sit outside on the sidewalk behind their dumpsters... I think they wait for anything to be thrown in so they can fish it out. They're mostly pretty nice if you're not rude to them.That aside, They have a great selection of liquor AND edible things. The cookies there are out of this world. I don't know how they make them - but they do - FRESH - and they're so good. And cheap. By the dumpsters you will notice a line of parked Taxis. None of them will let you get in if you need a ride, they're all off-duty. Probably eating cookies. But anyways, if a rack of taxi drivers are there... you know that good and inexpensive grub is nearby.A girlfriend of mine caught one of the thirty buses off of Wisconsin Ave after buying a bagful of delish cookies here, and when she got on, the friendly bus driver flirtatiously asked if he could have a cookie, too. She gave him one- and according to him- they ARE hands down the best cookies in town. Props to this cool bus driver... she got to eat her cookies on the bus!Another plus: It's better than 7-11 if you're on the run in the morning, speeding toward the metro and need to grab something to go for lunch - they have a huge selection of juices, yogurt, all that good stuff. Likewise, if you're on the way home and need something for dinner that you forgot about, they've got it, too.And the suspicion that Alexis G. yelped about? They do that for everything... I almost expect them to ask me for my ID just when I stop by for a soda.

Tenley Mini Market: It's Frat-tastic!This is the 2nd-best option in Tenleytown when it comes to buying bulk booze for a party. They constantly have specials on kegs, cases, and the like, so if you've been to any parties in the neighborhood that have had High Life kegs as opposed to Natty Light, you'll know why. Their "associates" (I love using a term like this for a liquor store) are really helpful in making sure you get all of your "party supplies" into your car. The place is very well-run, and management does a great job with store traffic - it helps when you have your own parking lot. Otherwise, the only other items I have purchased at this store that were non-alcoholic might have been soft drink mixers, cups, and ice - so yeah, if you're coming here it's gonna be for the booze. Drink up, pledges!

This store has excellent management and customer service, I will definitely return. I had an issue that I called about, and the manager went to great lengths to resolve it with me. She even called me back to ensure everything had been addressed. I'm happy giving them my business.

OK, so I would've never thought that this place would offer a deli such as this & provide a great breakfast!?!! I've gone here twice and OMG the food is soooo good... so glad they have a nice little deli like this near by my work place, you get tired of trying to make McDonalds or one of the other locations near by the only thing you can consider as your breakfast or lunch, that get's boring. Having a deli that is mom & pop shop good, makes for a great variety in the area!

Customer service is subpar!!! I experienced 2 horrific experiences here with the same UNPLEASANT female cashier who was less than friendly. The only reason why the second experience happened months later was because I forgot I told myself I would never come back the first time. The Cashier was extremely rude and lacked basic customer service skills! She failed to acknowledge me throughout my visit and talked to me condescendingly during the transaction. I was immediately reminded of my first subpar encounter and the lack of concern as a customer. Upon mentioning my unpleasant visit, she mentioned "We dont need your business". As a working class African American I was outraged!!! I have never been one to put race in the mix but I have to believe it was factor with her harsh words and treatment both visits! This was definitely an experience I will never forget. For anyone looking for excellent customer service and where they WANT your business, just head a couple minutes down the Wisconsin to Paul's Liquor or any other place but here!!!

How does this place stay open when it's right across the street from 7-11? It has more booze than those other guys! I bought alcohol from this place when I was in college, and got a thrill from their glaring eyes when they would angrily question if I was of age or not. One thing about getting older is that people in liquor stores trust you more. You lose touch with that sense of rebellion you felt going up to the check out counter at age 19 with two 40s under your arms. That's why I like coming to Tenley Mini Mart -- they still think I'm trying to pull a fast one on them. Their suspicion gives me refreshing sense of continuity.

Best liquor store for miles super sweet customer service and amazing selection! A little small but very neat and organized.

I come here all the way from Virginia because who wants to go to an extremely overpriced state ran ABC store. I definitely find their prices on the liquor that I buy (1.75 liter) significantly cheaper than the ABC store. I have never had an issue with their customer service (I'm black but a previous review stated race was an issue to their bad cs experience) but I also spend hundreds of dollars every time I visit to restock my home bar. So, I would definitely recommend this liquor store. I could careless about customer service as long as you keep my bottles of liquor at a reasonable price and stocked. I don't need to shoot the shit with the associates...just ring my shit up so I can go!
