The food here is decent (though pricey...breakfast for two was an eye-watering $61) but I have to say, whoever runs this place doesn't care about customers. Looking at the menu, they have a lot of delicious breakfast sandwiches. My husband wanted one but rather than having it on one type of bread, he wanted it on a croissant. The kind but confused guy taking the order said they couldn't do that. I asked if they were out of croissants but he said they could only put it on the bread on the menu. I asked if I could order the sandwich without bread, then order a croissant and assemble it myself and he said "I guess so". So Tatte got me to pay an extra $4.50 for a croissant (I would have been happy to pay an upcharge of a dollar or two if that was the issue) and I got to make my sandwich myself. Great business model if you can get people to pay extra to do the work for you! This may be an unpopular opinion but if I'm ordering a sandwich, it should be default that I get an option of what type of bread to put it on. To tell me "they can't do that" when they physically CAN do that is just ridiculous. So we got the sandwich with no bread, got our $4.50 bread and put the sandwich together. Reader, it wasn't hard at all.I don't blame the cashier for this. The computer system is rigid and doesn't allow for choosing bread, which I guess is more efficient. He looked like he wanted to help but whatever management (or lack of) at that location made sure that the cashier is impotent to help a customer. I get it, it's a piece of bread and it's not a big deal, but if I'm paying $61 for a couple of breakfast sandwiches, coffee, water and a piece of cake I don't expect to have to pay more to make it myself. Again, the food was fine (and would have been delicious at $25) but the fact that the focus from management is only on $$$ and not customer experience makes it clear I don't need to go hear again. Read Jane S review from a few days ago and you can see this wasn't an isolated incident. If I wanted to be insulted when I order breakfast, I can go to Wendy's and get that abuse at a fraction of the price (just kidding!)

My review is based on service; food and drink are okay.I asked if they have a caramel macchiato, and to my surprise the cashier came back at me with attitude saying that this wasn't a Starbucks.

The overall experience was good. It was such a cute space, it was definitely a full house. The sandwich I ordered didn't have the flavor I was looking for, but I covered it in sriracha. The coffee was exactly what I was looking for. The waitstaff was on top of everything, bussin the tables as soon as they were empty. I will be visiting this spot again!

This is a coffee shop / bakery type place. The pastries are excellent. Not the absolute best in category but fantastic nonetheless. We had a cherry and pistachio tart which was in fact perfect- everything blended together perfectly, the tart was buttery, and the crust was fantastic. I also had a turmeric "tea cake" which was like a muffin with sugar crystals. It was dense and moist on the inside with a good crust on top of the muffin. Sweet but not overly sweet. We got a jam and cheese danish and a halva chocolate chip cookie which were both good not great. For my meal I ordered lamb meatball shakshuka and it was delicious. Spicy, filling, and full of flavor. I decided to sub sourdough for the challah which was a great move too. I got a hibiscus tea, my brother got a lemon fig fizz - both were really good. Recommend going back any time you see one for coffee and/or lunch!

Hassling and bustling place . All bakery items are freshly made and fly off the shelf instantly. They had good nooks to sit and either work or have a good cozy coffee while doing some people watching.

Second visit this week to a Tatte cafe, I went to a different location today. Same great coffee and sweets. I tried the Blueberry Lemon Pavlova; a cream cheese filled meringue, topped with a blueberry sauce and fresh blueberries, pretty good, but too sweet. It was to be expected though, meringues are made out of sugar! Still a great experience I would recommend.

First time at tatte. I was in love even before I opened the door! How beautiful! I'm really going to miss this cafe.Beautiful tiling, display of pastries, the merchandise, the clean wide spaced bar tables for laptops and lattes. I came back twice for their house latte but iced. Sandwhiches are good too. Perfect for a quick breakfast or brunch. But also that vibe! I could spend all day with my laptop in this place. #love
