Equivalent to halal guys!Hefty portion!I split w/ my wife cuz I wasn't that hungry but still pretty good portion!Dude that served us was very nice and generous!We ended up eating inside cuz it was way too hot out and idk if this place is dog friendly but I brought my pup inside. They didn't say anything sooo I guess it's dog friendly? Must try if you are visiting the area - for sure!5 out of 5

Tried this spot for a late dinner. We got the chicken over rice platter and the shish tawook. Both were fresh and tasty, we loved the white sauce. It was easy to place the order over the phone and pick up at the store. It's not a sit down place. Overall food was pretty good, nothing to rave about, but solid.

I had high hopes for this place, and the food was generally good, but there were a couple serious missteps. I ordered their combo chicken and lamb meal over rice. First, I should say that I'm not middle eastern so I'm no expert, but I'm from NYC, arguably the birthplace of this style of street-cart halal cuisine and I survived on halal cart lamb over rice throughout college. Regarding the positives: the portion size was generous, the service was fine, the sauces were balanced, and I appreciated the ability to customize the veggies and dip combinations, including the addition of toum or hummus. Onto the negatives: the proteins are precooked and served from chaffing trays which resulted in lukewarm and dry chicken or lamb. Additionally, serving plain basmati rice versus the traditional turmeric seasoned yellow rice is huge misstep. Overall, the food here is decent and reasonably priced. I may give them another try when they've just cooked the protein or I'll try something else on their menu.

I ordered from Tasty Chicken Box, and was disappointed considering the amount of food that I got for the price. I wanted to try out a new place for Gyro meat, and I had never heard of this spot. Ordered the lamb Gyro with rice and for $14 on the delivery app, it did not cut it. The rice was totally unseasoned and once you took off the top layer of meat it was just way too much rice. Hardly any salad or side items. Also ordered the lamb kebab with grilled vegetables, and for $20 that was way overpriced as well. The tabouleh was a very palty portion.Overall, I would not order from here again. There are better options in the area such as Halal Guys or Bitez.

Go... if you like halal guys then you'll love tasty chicken box and lamb. We saw this place opening up where Sibarita used to be and because we loved Sibarita wasn't sure how to feel about it. Boy were we wrong. Swung by for a late take out dinner one day and was greeted with a smile and Giant portions. The sauce was flavorful and the spicy ness had such a nice kick that has me drooling just thinking about it. The owner is super nice and truly loves the food. If you have a chance definitely go check this place out, we know we definitely will again.

Wow wow wow... I've been looking for a spot like this for so long... the name alone draws you in! The service is on point and about the customer. The restaurant is clean and love the neon light that reads "All it takes is One taste"! This is so true due to the fact eating there mixed combo of chicken and lamb. The white sauce that was drizzled over it entered my taste buds into another world.. speaking of another world, the pepper sauce was fighting my taste bud as well as loving them. Please take your time to give this place a chance and realize it is what it says it is! Tasty!!

Excellent food and customer service! It's the first visit and definitely not the last. Their food it's fresh and with a lot of flavor! We came as a large group and we all tried different dishes. The mixed grill (delicious), combo rice bowl (amazing), hummus (creamy and authentic), chicken (soft and flavorful) and stuffed grape leaves (tasty). Make sure you try both of their sauces, so so so good! Didn't get a chance to take a picture as we were eating as soon as the food touched the table :). The staff checked how was the food and if we needed anything during our visit. Overall, this will be our place to go for good food! You must try it, and you won't regret!

Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. I got the chicken platter with rice and vegetables. They give you a lot of food which is nice. Definitely going to get a few meals out of it. The chicken has a great flavor. I'm not sure what is in the sauce but it's good. I also got a side of hummus which was tasty but they only give you half a pita. Had to pay extra for more and it was very cold and kind of stale. Also would have liked more of the vegetables to mix in with the chicken and rice. Overall though it was good.

New shop, has been getting some positive chatter.Stopped by on a saturday evening, it was pretty quiet. I had been hearing about warm customer service but I did not experience that part. It was more of a move-it-along vibe when I was there.Be aware now, although you will see the word "gyro" there, this is not at all a greek-style shop. When I asked about things like "gyro" or Tzatziki" all I got was a blank look. Its a "lamb sandwich" he says. There is no feta cheese. This is just a regular arab-style halal shop, so don't be expecting something else.The setup is a chipotle-type deal where the ingredients are all pre-made. The guy throws it together and the other guy takes it back and grills it up. Seems clean and fresh. This is pretty much a take-out shop only. There are some tables down a passageway towards the back, but it was 90 degrees back there and empty. You specify what ingredients you want and they make it up the way you like it. I got the lamb sandwich ($11). The lamb was the usual pre-processed cubes, good size, on the rubbery side but not bad tasting. Simple menu but good. Overall not a bad value for the price. They are the only shop in the area open this late (2:00 AM on fri-sat) so this can be a good option for night owls.Will be back to try other menu items.

Tried Tasty Chicken Box for the first time. Met the owner and his son who were very nice. I got chicken and lamb over rice. They have a lot of great options to go with it as well like hummus, garlic sauce, feta cheese, onions tomato's, lettuce etc. Between the meat, the lamb was the star. The chicken was still good but just a little dry compared to DCG. Great post gym meal.I'll be back.
