Located along a busy road with its parking lot, this small establishment doesn't disappoint. There are dine-in or to-go options. I'm unsure if you can call your order in. They do offer a military discount with proper ID. Capable of cash, credit, and contactless pay methods.Popped by here on a whim while nearby. I ordered the menudo and assorted tacos to go. Sorry, there were limited pictures because we punished this food when I got home. I found the portions to be appropriate and the flavor of the food was delicious. There can be a wee bit of a wait since this location is pretty busy. I ordered an agua fresha (tamarind + lemonade) and it took my mind off of the wait. Those working there were hospitable and in good spirits. The seating inside seemed to be in close proximity to other diners but many were just focused on the food. There is no outdoor seating but inside there's enough room if you are group dining.I want to return to try other items on the menu. An overall positive to-go dining experience that I'd refer to others.

Last night, bae and I decided to give Taqueria Los Primos a try, mainly because of all the hype surrounding it. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the expectations. We ordered through Uber Eats, and the restaurant is only about 13 minutes from my house. When I arrived, the place was well-lit with plenty of parking, which was a good start. There was one person ahead of me, and several others were standing around waiting for their orders. When it was my turn, the cashier completely ignored me and started chatting with the guest behind me about their pending orders. Once she finally acknowledged me, I told her I was picking up an Uber Eats order for Paris, but she just stared at me like she didn't understand. I had to point out the bag sitting on the table behind her. After grabbing my order, I checked everything in the car to make sure it was right.I then asked bae to go back in and grab me a medium horchata. That took way longer than expected, considering there was only one person ahead of him. The customer in front was indecisive, which delayed him. Then, when bae got to the register, the cashier walked away, and a man took over. Bae asked for the horchata, but the guy asked, "What kind of meat do you want for the taco?" Now, bae mispronounced "horchata," but it still didn't sound like "taco." I clarified over speakerphone, and after some confusion, he finally came out with the drink. I have to say, their horchata was solid.Once we got home, we dove into the food, and I quickly realized how dry all the meats were--I felt like I needed water just to swallow. I ordered a pollo, a carnitas, a barbacoa, and an asada taco. To be fair, the carnitas taco was decent and not as dry as the others, but the barbacoa was filled with fatty pieces, which was disappointing. Now, let's talk about the elote. Baby, they did that! It was the highlight of the meal, hands down. Every bite was packed with flavor, and I didn't come up for air until I finished, corn kernels stuck in my teeth and all.Overall, the food was reasonably priced for the area, and the portion sizes were fair. However, I wouldn't go back. Customer service is important to me, and unfortunately, the tacos didn't hit the mark either. I love Mexican food, but this place just wasn't it for me.

Discovered this place right in my own neighborhood. The food is amazing, and the service is excellent. I have been here at least 4 times in the last month and I am making my way down the menu. This spot is definitely worth the trip.

I visited another location last year I believe, but this is a welcomed location in this area. I got take out. It was quick and tasty-- birria tacos and a mangonada... Yes, a mangonada or I had the option for a piña colada. The place is new and sparkly, good vibes and music. There's an outdoor patio for dining. I look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. The postres looked delicious!

Update:The food is absolutely horrible. I ordered the shrimp fajitas, Mexican corn, and Nopales y Cebollines. I asked for extra veggies since I didn't want the rice, beans, and tortillas. First of all, the shrimp was flavorless, rubbery, and smelled fishy. I ate two and couldn't eat anymore. The pico de mayo was not fresh and mushy. The guacamole was also not fresh! It was brown. Even the lime that came with the pico de mayo wasn't fresh. I will say the corn was good, but I will spend another dime in that place! I went to Chick fil a like I was starting to do in the first place. $40 down the drain!I wanted to try somewhere different and came across this restaurant after doing a Google search. Even though I didn't feel like taking the drive, I did because overall the reviews were good. Once I arrived, I saw that it was crowded and was relieved because that meant the food must be food. So, I waited in the long line but once I got to the front the cashier stepped away. I was fine with that because she was busy. A man came and started speaking Spanish to two men who were behind me, taking their order, like I wasn't even there (I'm a black woman). I said, I was here first and he just smiled. The men behind me apologized. Based on the encounter, I don't know if I'll be back.

I tried the tacos (asada, carnitas and pollo) The asada and pollo aren't very seasoned but the carnitas were everything! I also tried the chicken flautas, chicken not seasoned. Refried black beans were bland, the Spanish rice was delicious and today they had off the menu pinto beans, which were amazing! I hope they add the pinto beans to the permanent menu.

I've tried the Hyattsville & laurel locations and they are all the same yet slightly different. This one has a cute building, very colorful inside but like all the locations it can get pretty tight when it gets busy. The service is always good! They are friendly and service is usually pretty quick. My "go to" is usually the birria quesadilla or the gringo quesadilla with no guacamole. But for taco Tuesday I ordered the Al pastor tacos. There were a few tough pieces, was kinda dry but the flavor was there. Probably will stick to my regular orders but it was still okay for 8 bucks. Can't beat that!

I can't speak for the tacos, but both the Pozole and the Menudo were absolutely delicious. Pleasantly surprised to be able to get both of these, and they were both so flavorful. I ordered via Uber eats. Both soups arrived steaming hot , with the usual accompaniments: tortillas, lettuce, radish, onion, and lime.
