Taqueria El Cabrito

Good food here, but it helps if you know the drill. Food needs to be ordered at the counter; there is no table service. That means also asking for a menu if you have not studied one online. Once you know this, everything else should go smoothly. Our food came out after a short time and was delicious and well priced. We had a combo of beef and chicken tacos and the chicken mole. The tacos were the far superior of the two dishes - perhaps not surprising as it is a taqueria! They are made to order and take a few minutes but are well worth it

This is more of a review on the service (or lack thereof). Upon entering, I stood at the window for a bit, but the person ignored me. Thinking that maybe she was busy (or maybe didn't see me), I said hello in a cheerful manner, she looked at me and continued doing what she was doing. I think it would have been nice if she would said something like 'I'll be with you in a minute' (or even an Espera). I guess I could understand if the restaurant was swamped, but I was the only person inside. So, I promptly left (without ordering anything) because I'm not gonna bend over backwards to get someone's attention for me to spend money in an establishment.

Authentic Mexican. As a SoCal girl, I'm picky about my Mexican food and this place really does it for me. Prices are pretty good, too.

Two stars because of the RIDICULOUSLY LONG WAIT and they MESSED UP OUR ORDER. Saw that this place recently opened, and we were excited to have Mexican tacos in this area. We've been to Taqueria El Cabrito in Annapolis and this was a different experience. We walked in and ordered 6 tacos (2 carnitas, 2 al pastor, and 2 chorizo), 1 pozole, and horchata. We waited and waited and finally got our order 30 minutes later, which was very frustrating, since there were only two people before us. We got home and saw there were only 4 tacos instead of the 6 we ordered, and there was chicken in it, which wasn't what we ordered at all. They have the El Nino Aguas Frescas line of drinks, so the horchata was not made in house. I understand this place recently opened, but this is hard to excuse. Might try this place again in several months because the food is what we've been looking for in Wheaton, but not planning to return anytime soon.

Solid and tasty authentic style Mexican food inside or a gas station. HUGE menu and good prices. This is a diamond in the rough that not enough people seem to know about.

Food was great value. 3 tacos with rice and beans for $10. My cuerito, Al pastor and cachete tacos were delicious. Setting is simple but service is kind and speedy. Will be back!

A pleasant surprise of a mini-restaurant tucked inside a convenience store at the corner of Georgia Ave and University Blvd in Wheaton, MD. They cook-to-order and serve a variety of hispanic food. Their food are tasty and made with fresh good ingredients. Their $3 tacos are awesome. Overall, great latino food with affordable prices. Will definitely come back to try the other items in their menu!

Prices are $3 more than what the actual price that is mention in their own menu. I ask why they told me that's what the computer register says and I asked them again they told me those are old prices but they keep using the menu with old prices

I almost didn't want to leave a review so I could gate keep this GEM. I had chicken burrito, absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender and full of flavor. Small whole in the wall, if you want to avoid the wait call in advance.

The food was incredible all across the board. Me, my mom, and brother walked in and each ordered a few things and all of us were immensely happy. We will be making this our new go to tacos.
