I got this via delivery service in early September. If you want some delicious Indian comfort food, this is the place. And it packs some punch if you mark it spicy. I got the thali box with spicy butter chicken. The dal tadka was so bomb! Spicy as hell but so flavorful. And the samosas?? The most seasoned I've had thus far. The box was perfect if you want a little of everything. And very filling despite the small portions.

This review is based on the Uber Eats order i placed. I ordered the vegan curry which had the perfect amount of spice and came with rice -- 8/10 Two orders of samosas -- 9/10Garlic naan -- 7/10Overall, I would definitely order from here again to try other menu items . The samosas are a must !!

If you're looking for Indian comfort food, this is the place for you. They don't have a sit down place. I think their business is mostly based on take out or delivery. I have ordered some of their dishes via DoorDash. Delivery has always been on point. They have various meal combo at very affordable prices. It's very filling as well. I always try the daal tadka with chicken either on butter or curry masala. It's so good. Love how they pack it so nicely in the box. You don't even have to use your utensils. Taste is very authentic. Chicken 65 biryani was alright. If you're a biryani fan, I can see you being critical of their biryani. However, it's not bad. It's more like the North Indian style biryani which is not too spicy. Chicken 65 is very delicious. I have also tried their samosa. Really good.Highly recommend this place for affordable and quick Indian food.

We ordered Penang curry and pad Thai. The location is easily accessible. The food was not tasty. I cannot recommend it.

So this place is a cloud kitchen. So you're not going to be able to waltz in and get a table. Delivery or take out are the options.This is one of the few places in DC who did a couple of things that I haven't been able to find since moving here:1) they can execute a TRULY spicy as hell level. Ask and ye shall receive.2) their flavor is worth it. I am always a bit aghast when I order curries and they have so much oil in them that it just pours off the top. I'll never like that--but the curry itself was incredible!The spicy chicken 65 Biryani was really good. They did this fried onion string thing in it that was lovely. I didn't realize that the chicken on this was fried. So definitely know that if you order this---it ain't gonna be healthy! But they chicken and rice weren't dry at all. One of the things that can happen with biryani is that the rice isn't coated with the seasoning or it's just dry as heck. This wasn't like that for either of the Biryanis.The vegetable biryani had an occasional paneer chunk in it. For veg Biryani, I twas a little light on veggies but!--i loved what it did have! Bell peppers, green beans, a small sliver of cauliflower here and there. When I saw the mint chutney...I was ready to write it off. It isn't thick and fluffy like the mint chutney an Indian mom is gonna make at home...it's definitely more runny--BUT super flavorful and good!The raita is also extremely well executed Now the one thing that actually pissed me off--HUGELY..was that I ordered gulab jamun. Now this is my favorite dessert in the whole world. It has been since I was a kid--but not only did they NOT give me what I ordered, they send me the MOST disgusting dessert I have ever had AND wasn't reimbursed! Whatever they sent me was highly vinegary and unpleasant and I threw it out so fast. It wasn't even close to gulab jamun. If They'd run out and wanted to include something similar...that would have been the rasmali--but you can see from the pictures, what they sent me was just wrong on so many levels. Who is ordering that, ever?? And hijestky--thats awful customer service to do a trashy sub like that. Big boo.All in Now overall, I'd have to say it is really worth it in my opinion.Give it a go! 9/10, they execute well.

Placed an order for pick-up/delivery, and it never arrived. when I called the restaurant the owner lied about it being delivered.

The order was placed, and after two hours of waiting for food to arrive, the order was cancelled unexpectedly.

Ordered vegetable daal, garlic naan and mango lassi. The portion size of each was relatively small for the price, especially for the daal. The daal was just okay. The garlic naan looked nothing like the photos and tasted like Trader Joe's naan. By the time I received the naan, it was hard. The mango lassi was good after I placed it in the refrigerator to get cold, but again, the size of it was significantly smaller than expected. So small, it fit in the bag with all of the food I ordered, and was warm when I received it. Overall, I would not recommend this place or return.

Mediocre palak paneer and straight up bad paneer tikka masala (watery and sweet and not flavorful). I do not recommend.

Excellent food and interesting menu. Packaging is great and portion is fulfilling. Will recommend l.
