Our favorite place for fried rice. My kids do not like onions in their fried rice, so we always order without onions and the service is always fast and correct (which these days is hard to come by). They are very welcoming and polite when I pick up my order. One time they forgot our sauce and immediately called us to let us know before we drove home. I can't say enough about their hospitality and effort to ensure your order is correct and tasty. I only wish more places did the same.

So I finally tried this place. I ordered the egg drop soup and it was the worst, it tasted like dirty socks and the smell was unbelievable and couldn't make out what the smell was. The owner was very nice. The service was fast and efficient. The restaurant was very clean and their was no there at the particular time. I will try this place again some day!

I almost forgot about Szechuan Star, and I'm so glad that I remembered them to try for lunch!Their menu offers various hot and cold appetizers, soups, moo shi items, fried rice, lo mein, chow mein, poultry/pork/beef/lamb/seafood/vegetable entrees, house specialties, and lunch combos.My family and I came here for an earlier lunch, and we ordered:+Crab Rangoon - came with 6; they were crispy and filled generously with the cream cheese and imitation crab mixture; no sauce is provided, but there are plenty of sauces at the table!+Kung Pao Beef lunch combo - the combo specials run from Monday to Friday, and you choose between a vegetable spring roll or egg roll; white rice or plain fried rice; and, soup or a can soda+Crispy Shredded Beef - this was not overly cooked and it wasn't that sweet, which was great! Generous portion!Don't forget to ask for their house mustard - it is thick, creamy, and has the right amount of heat to add to your dishes!Service was so kind, friendly, and attentive - our hot tea was never out, and all the food came out, made-to-order and piping hot! Everything tasted fresh and made with love!For dessert, we had fresh orange slices and yummy sugar donut bites - NOM!I am definitely a fan of this place and would love to try the rest of their menu the next time - definitely will be adding this to our meal rotation!The restaurant is decorated well, super clean, and very warm & inviting. Looks like new management since I ordered from Sz Star last time... 2 comments on my order. First, Hot & sour soup was not very spicy - in fact, I would call it super mild. Therefore, it was not very interesting.Second, the Yu Shiang broccoli dish which I have ordered many times in the past was NOT very good this time - too sweet! Why so much added sugar (or sweetness)?? Also shown on the menu as spicy - it was not.

I had the Szechuan Chicken and he had the Kung Pao Chicken, and we both had Hot & Sour Soup ... all three were EXCELLENT and much better than I can find elsewhere nearby. Also, the rice was Perfect.
